We beat BB!!!
So, this was kind of a random challenge just to see if we could do it... how would peeps feel if we had a similar challenge every day and tried upping the cumulative calories each day?
Today, we did 21,069... but that's a triple day. Divided that's 7,023 calories a day, regular. So what if tomorrow, we shoot for 7,500? Just to keep all of us pushing for something a little more immediate besides just this virtual race?

Who is logging the miles (making the boat move) and by when do we need to post it by? I'm on the west coast time. I try to get on my desktop in the evening at the end of the day to post my cals here, but sometimes it may be the next day..
Is there some excel spreadsheet that someone is keeping track of?

Biela: rgutie is the boat captain so he's responsible for putting in the numbers. I was just throwing out inner-team challenge ideas for us as a group. As far as getting the numbers, I don't think it's a big deal if they come in the following day. I mean, one can only control so much, right?0 -
Hey team Shrink or SInk, I'm sorry our boat hasnt been updated yet. You guys killed triple calorie day! I am trying to update us and post the week 2 burn awards but I am missing several peoples calories. Please message me them or post them on the thread.
Actually it would be a HUGE HELP if people could start posting their burns in the multi day format some people have been using where you give your last few days in your post. Double posting is not a probelm I am more than happy to shift through the data (that what I do most every day as a researcher).0 -

I LOVED white water rafting too! I tried it for the first time 2 summers ago at the peak of the season at Kaweah River. It was amazing! And difficult (class 4 rapids!), but we had a guide/professional with us. It was easier to enjoy the rapids that way than to buy a raft.

Between rgutie1's sport fishing and timeforme23's awesome hikes, it sounds like people are really enjoying the outdoors and summer days doing adventurous stuff! It's getting me motivated to do a Mount Baldy hike soon, hopefully when it's not too hot!
