I "started again" on MFP on January 9th because one of my big goals is to get ready for Districts with my women's ice hockey team in March. But one of my mini goals is to get 10 pounds lost, to get down below 160 before the end of January - only .5 left to lose! I had a tough day yesterday with eating but still maintained a deficit.
Here's to reaching all of our goals!4 -
I just hit the '10 lb lost' mark. Next up, another 3.5 lbs to lose the 'obese' BMI term6

Love this thread; very motivational.
I'm taking this in 5 lb chunks - just 0.6 left to reach my next one. Hoping to get there for the Twenty One Pilots concert next month.
What I'm looking forward to and scared of at the same time is hitting 100 lb lost. I have a history of reaching a big milestone and becoming complacent, stalling, and never progressing further.9 -
My mini goal right now is to hit 222 (which is the lowest I remember being in the last 20 years!). I've been stuck at 229 for a while. Still eating in defecit so working on it!7

My new mini goal is to NOT let lack of scale progress deter me from my new permanent healthy lifestyle.19

I'm right there with you. The scale seems to be bouncing all around for me since my last update. Definitely frustrating when you know you're doing everything right. Just have to be patient.8 -
To stick to my new strength training routine. It's been 18 days so far and I haven't skipped a day yet (except rest days obviously)!6

Didn't post in a while but I have been lurking. I crashed my bike in Sept and had to get plate and pins in my wrist. That coupled with a two week trip to Miami in Nov and Xmas I put on 2 stone (28pounds). I am 5 ft 2".
Since New years day I have lost 8 pounds and my mini goal is to get to 10stone 7. I am now 10 stone 10lbs.
My regular weight is 9st 4lbs. Please God I'll get there again. Back running now and doing KICKR classes. Plus doing meal prep. I am on a mission.8 -
I want to touch 65 kg till 1st week of April.
After a long break I restarted working out strictly in last week of Nov when I was at 60kg. Good food and proper workout, and tracking everything made a huge difference. Right now I stand at 64.4kg and seems to be right on track. Hopefully I will continue making progress.

Weight is fluctuating. I would love to lose at least 5-7lbs for my birthday. God help me.5

I ordered two dress sizes for a formal event at the end of February, one in my size now and one a size down. The mini-goal motivating me is to wear the smaller one!8

I celebrate every 5lbs I lose. I made a list of items I would buy to reward myself every 5 lost or fun experiences. I've lost 16lbs now. Im going to buy myself a step tracker as my reward for hitting the 15lb mark. Next reward will be me going to LUSH to buy one of their products I've been dying to buy for forever!8

Mine's really silly (I think) - this is my second round of major weight loss, the first was in 2009. I then gained all and some back over the last 6 years, so I'm about to reach my "first starting weight" and that for me shines light into the end of the tunnel!9

Same here, I tried to start again last year but gained another two kilos by the end of the year. But now I'm only 0,3 kg from being a kilo lighter than my last years starting weight! You can do it, too4 -
I plan to run a 5K in about a month. I am also working my way up to being able to do a pull up without assistance.3

Getting under 200 pounds for the first time since I was 15. I am really getting excited about this. This morning's weight was 201, so close.18

I'm looking forward to hitting the 180's and kissing the 190's goodbye for forever!13

I met my husband and I was 200lbs. Since then I got married to him and had two girls all in two and a half years and gained 26.5lbs... My mini goal is to get back to 200lbs. Then 180lbs lol4

And eventually I want to get the guts to try and do legit bench press. Still kind of afraid to do it while everyone is watching at the gym. I'm afraid I'll drop the weight on myself. And there are dudes at my gym that bench three plates!
Everyone's gotta start somewhere right?
Good morning,
Not sure what gym you go to but in my experience, no one is watching. Everyone is too busy looking at themselves in the mirror. When you do try that BP, make sure you have a spotter. Just say to someone, "Can I get a spot on this BP when you have a minute"
Keep up the good work.
