Disagree. You're very pretty!10 -
How much more money I would have in my bank account. Pretty much cut out the wine & buying a lot less food!20

This is so true, my alcohol purchases are down to gift buying only. No fast food habit and I avoid the temptation of restaurant meals. My shopping is mostly bulk buys and I stopped sweets and snacks. My food is probably $10-15 per day when I cook myself. Made lasagna and now it serves so many meals when I cut up and freeze in appropriate portion sizes. A steak that would have gone one meal now does 3-4 meals.19 -

I'm saving ~$40 a month on Gaviscon alone. Used to hit Costco for some twice a month.13 -

My fast food habit now is down to the Polish Dog, whenever I leave Costco. Even that is >500 calories.
Come to think of it, I've had zero heartburn since I started my diet/tracking in Jan. That's 'winning'25 -
I haven't found more money lol. I've never really drank so no savings there. I spend more money on groceries due to buying fresh foods. the money I saved on fast food I've spent on workout clothes and other clothes and running shoes.....come to think of it hope I haven't traded a food problem for a shopping problem. I try and buy goodwill or clearance but loosing almost 70 lbs nothing fits so I need everything. currently wearing a winter coat 3 sizes to big but next year I will change sizes again so I'm hanging in there. I'm glad others are saving and I would take feeling better over the $$$ any day so I'm happy.28

That's awesome - and a great NSV!8 -
That the only clothes I can afford to really splash out on are loose jackets/coats and shoes!2

I saved quite a few clothes that I'm hoping to shrink back into. Men's shirts can fit a broad weight range. Pants will be a problem when I start getting within 20% of goal weight. I carry my weight around my middle, over my belt line.6

That my own lifestyle might be dramatically influencing my partner's. I've been working on only eating until I'm full, while he has always been notorious for wolfing down all his food long before me, even when I wasn't actively trying to change my ways. Well, the past few times we've eaten out, both of us have eaten more slowly and neither of us have finished our food. Now, I know that staying healthy is no longer just about me.31

@NannersBalletLegs -- This happened at our house too. It took 2 months of me just doing my own thing, but now he's on MFP and has lost 15 lbs. I'm so glad and, dare I say, relieved. We were looking at an unhealthy future.23 -
I think it's important to realize that if you do binge eat one day/night/meal, your diet isn't over, everything isn't ruined. Just when your lil' eating episode is done, get back to keeping to your diet. You won't have gained all the weight back in one meal.69

No one tells you the possibility of when you lose so much weight and you're incredibly proud of yourself, but your body doesn't look like all your hard work. And you have another whole battle of learning to fully love this new you and truelly be positive about what your body decides to do.29

I read that and made Sure I took pics.l amd I still regret not taking better ones...side back and front view. I look my pics in an ankle length dress so I can't see the change in my legs4 -

That happened to me too. It really hurt my feelings! I just look at my pictures and I know that I do look better. Plus I feel better. Don't let someone else make you feel bad about your progress. You look fantastic!
you look fantastic some people need to install a filter...seriously.9 -

Ditto. I have no more dress pants I can wear, 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair that I'm hoping to get into. Down from 52 to 44, but still think 44 is pretty big for 160 lbs. Hoping that starts to shrink more.6 -
Like others, I regret not having a before picture. I'm trying to find before pics. I really didn't like getting my picture taken at 330 lbs.
Anyone new to doing this, do your future smaller self a favour and take a picture.14 -

THIS!! I forgot about this, I never spend money eating out... it took me a while to realize why my bank account was "gaining" haha.9 -

My weight is a tube above my belt. I'm down just over 20lbs from 295 but still wear the same size 42 jeans. Hard to button after washing but they are falling down later in the day.
I started wearing suspenders over a t-shirt and underneath an untucked outer shirt. A belt just wasn't working reliably, lol13 -
Nobody warned me that I'd regret not taking any proper 'before' pics.
I was warned but I hated myself in pictures so never took any at my heaviest. While I'm still not enamored of being photographed, I'm not as freak out about being in them. I even posted a selfie for the first time.
Long story short: I really wish I had taken before photos and more in between photos to really see what I've lost. Most of the time I still see myself as fat in the mirror though on occasion, I can see how much I've lost (weight) and gained (muscle).9 -
So a person told me I needed to stop losing weight because she's heavier than I and its not fair that I'm still losing when I'm not terribly overweight anymore (I'm about 20lb from goal) while she's still obese. It's like there's a limited amount of weight that can be lost in the universe at one time and I'm hogging it. Can anybody explain this logic to me?46

I think she feels better about her weight if she's surrounded by other heavies.29 -

Sounds like she's jealous that you're able to lose weight. Well, not only lose weight, but to continue losing weight with a definite goal in mind. I've got a few folks at work who tell me to stop losing, but I'm pretty sure most of them are coming from the 'he looks so skinny compared to his old self' perspective. 'Most'. There are a couple I think are jealous, although the fit guys have been congratulating me.19 -
Thanks @Speziface and @Theo166. Makes sense!1

Finally going to breakdown and hem my dress pants. I've got four pair that just hang in my closet due to being too long. That is too long after my round belly went down20

This is so true, my mom has double hip replacements and many vertebrae fused. She needs it. I have bad scoliosis and balance issues, as a family with two disabled persons this irks me to no end.
There are some 'normal' stalls that are just not made big enough. My work has a stall that is a tight fit for the inshape girls.
But i do agree that unless ⬆ is the issue, larger people do not need the handlecap stall JUST bc they are big. But this doesnt mean they are not allowed to use it. If im alone in the bathroom at work i am using the handicap stall bc i cant fit in the normal one. If im not alone, well i just leave and come back later lol.3
