Keep up the good work! I've struggled with back pain since I was fifteen (I'm now 27). Back pain + sciatica is the worst! And working through it isn't always fun, either. It does provide a good wake up call every now and then, though ...5 -

Yes! After only a couple weeks of working and setting up the new habit, I realized this week that I've been looking forward to going to the gym after work. In a "weird" way, it's a nice set of "me" time. I watch Netflix when doing cardio or listen to music/NPR while doing weights.
- I've also appreciated discovering foods that can become eat-at-home staples for me. I've always been a lazy cook who'd rather leave for work early and pick up fast food.
- Enjoying eating at home before work and a warm meal at home afterward. Or cooking with a spouse (instead of just watching/assisting)!
- I'm also more likely to tidy my house now that I feel I have more energy and am less sloth-like. Too often I've looked at the mess and added it to my mental list of "I don't want to deal with this right now."16 -

This!! I've been at this since mid 2016 and have lost almost 60 lbs. One particular person at work always talks about what a great job I'm doing, and how great I look, and how proud he is of me, and how he knows it is a lot of work, etc. Then he tells me all about people he knows that lost a bunch of weight and put it back on quickly, and cautions me that I have to stay the course and don't give in to cravings and don't quit and on and on. Then he brings snacks for the office ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DAY. He only brought them once a month or so before I started losing weight. Nothing else has changed at work, so I can't help but think he is doing it to sabotage my efforts. Really - in one five day work week he brought a cake, then cupcakes, then a case of cookies, then a tin of gingersnaps, then a giant box of packaged Rice Crispy Treats. He doesn't eat any kind of sweets himself, so what am I supposed to think?

You can walk/hike with a pack - but your knees might reject that, too. I use the elliptical... like jogging/running - but with no pounding on the joints. Good luck!

Taking control of my health, of my body and making it what it is today has taken an immense amount of work. It does hurt that my own mother wont acknowledge it. she always tells me how nice other people look. I always take note she never tells me I look nice. Actually, no one ever tells me I look nice. Its almost as if to my family I've become invisible.

We all know abut the cold- You feel cold while loosing weight.
However lately I have been noticing that I don't feel cold all the time anymore - My internal heating system seems to have kicked in - I am very near my goal and within my optimum BMI and been doing weights training. It is as if my body/heart muscles all of a sudden are learning how the heating system should work vs counting on that fat to keep it warm.
I'd hoped this would happen, but I'd not seen anybody mention that it could.
Secondly - I went through a few periods that my hips really really hurt. They are fine now but all of a sudden I noticed that my ewwalk has changed - it is straighter less wide. So I think the pain was related to my hips realigning themselves because I not longer have to walk wider becasue of my thunder thighs.27 -

That's reassuring to read. I'm still the 'cold all the time' phase, but I'm also still quite a bit away from ideal weight (15-20kg to left to lose).1 -
I've seen numerous posts about people's feet size and width changing. I haven't seen this one. The arch in my foot is closer to the high side again and needs more support. When I younger/lighter I needed shoes with higher arch support, but I had to go away from those shoes as I had gained weight and gotten older. My right foot near the arch had been seriously aching and the left one was starting to as was over the last few weeks and I couldn't figure it out. I wore my old sneakers yesterday that had a generic insert (dr. scholl's something other) that I had to help with self-diagnosed plantar fasciitis and the pain in the arch went away. I hadn't put inserts into my new sneakers, because my heels weren't bothering me, but apparently the inserts had enough additional arch support to help, so in they went and no pain.13

@ladyreva78 before LCHF weight loss made me cold. This time around I a working to increase the mitochondria count and their health inside each cell. Disease followed by death seems to come only after we fail to keep our mitochondria count and health high.

Edit: @aerochic42 I finally noticed some change in my feet - not a great deal, but they must have got narrower because I can get into a pair of shoes that were much too tight for me last year!6 -

Edit: @aerochic42 I finally noticed some change in my feet - not a great deal, but they must have got narrower because I can get into a pair of shoes that were much too tight for me last year!
Actually we have a life Force. When our cell voltage drops from 70 mV to 50 mV we are starting to fade. At 20 millvolts cancer and other stuff turns out our lights. Some random sites found by Google.

that people would be able to pick me up and carry me around like a rag doll. Like if someone wanted to kidnap me, they would easily put me over their shoulder and carry me away without breaking a sweat.A bit concerning i have to admit.

I have had to sleep with a pillow between my knees for my back, but I have now discovered if I don't sleep with my pillow legs, my knees knock together and bruise now that I have lost a lot of weight.9
