You should try Olive Garden, it's the best.
Castiglias is better. I don't think it's a national chain, at least I haven't seen it until I moved to NoVA.0 -

Luckily in Florida it's not considered reckless driving but it is frowned upon ☹️

Yes, I'll invite you all for our next annual family reunion where we all get together and make homemade ravioli and garlic bread. Just kidding, that'd be way too much work and I'm lazy. But, it's the thought that counts!0 -

I had a sandwich today at a deli.
It was served with a bag of chips.
I ate the sandwich and threw the bag of chips in the trash.
I work too hard in the gym to negate it with greasy food.4 -

I'm feeling a little depressed that my wife is stifling my potential dream job prospects. I owe the family stability, after missing so much on deployment, but I still feel too young to just sit around and wait to die.4

Have you told her this? Providing for your family is a wonderful thing but it won't do them much good if you're unhappy. Any way you can work at getting the Dream job while working a stable job?
Yeah, we're in the early stages of discussion. I think she's in the bargaining phase. Haha. I don't think I'll be unhappy working dead end 9-5 like some 'normal person'. I'm in a perpetual state of mild content. Unfortunately, the dream job will require me to jump in with both feet.0 -

You'd be very surprised what a few years of it will do to you. You can always make money, you can't get the years back.

I confess I rather enjoyed the torture I put myself through by taking a walk outside. It's hot as balls outside.2

That's some great insight, guys. Thanks for the feedback. I think her primary concern is the high likelihood of being relocated often, 25% travel, long hours, always being on call, and the (marginal) possibility of my death or disability.2
