Oh it has been a few challenging days. I've not been on here since Thursday.

Our well pump went ka-sparky Thursday night. Checked all the parts we know how to check - changed out switch box, cleaned, tested capacitors, checked fuse, nope. Literally got sparks last time we put it all together and threw the power on. So Friday we call the well guy. As expected we needed a new pump, so I had them upgrade the pipe diameter and ramp up the horsepower on the new pump. Now I can get some irrigation going. This has taken a lot of worries off my shoulders because we have had some recurring water issues for about three years and now those should be over. Plus I know my pump is sitting over 20 feet below the water line and that makes me happy too.

But all this and the heat gave me an excuse for stress eating. I did, but let me say it could have been worse. And I have stayed green for the week overall so I can smile.

Since getting pregnant i feel like I’ve lost sight of my goals. Well not lost sight. But I feel they aren’t suitable anymore. Which is a bit sad because I was so focused on them

In my position, what new goals would you set your eyes on?
I just really don’t know what I want to achieve at this moment in time!

Hello my sweet little Bex! I will have to think about some new goals for this time...besides eating healthy and trying to stay active. Is there anything you want to make into a habit that you could focus on? Anything you always wanted to learn how to do? I'll think on it...

I wanted to let you know also, I have been thinking of you and am always happy to see a post from you.

    I really can’t think tbh.
As you know I’m already busy with the kids and my OH, and the goals I had before didn’t really affect any of that or vice versa.
I feel sick all the time but then have to eat because if i don’t eat I feel even MORE sick
I feel a bit stuck in limbo atm, it’s my first antenatal appointment tomorrow and I just want to get my notes and actually be on the pregnancy journey properly!
And plus find out about the 1200 calorie thing.
Although (despite feeling sick) I’m also ravenous hahah

I had a tuna mixed with salad cream :scream: sandwich today with cherry tomatoes, spring onion and cheese. What is that about.

    *sigh*
Them crop tops are out the eindow

Was a really good day today! I posted a blurb about my book and the link to Amazon on Facebook and I'm pretty sure I got like 7-9 sales! I know I sold an Ebook copy but won't know how many paperbacks sold until they ship out. Lol. I also reconnected with a former best friend and had a really good conversation with my brother which doesn't happen too often. Now the DH is home and playing a video game with his friends and I am involved because I can listen in on an app that they use to broadcast. It's about a 6-second delay so I'm usually just slightly off of the jokes and things but it's still fun!

As for goals for Monday, July 16, 2017

    1. Log all food
    2. Stay in the green
    3. Clean bathroom
    4. Put laundry away
    5. Finish dishes
    6. Print out picture for meeting
    7. Attend work meeting
    8. Make yummy dinner
    9. Yoga
    10. Bedtime whenever

Good morning! Happy Monday. Keeping it simple and to the point because I have very simple basic goals I am not meeting right now. I'm sorry if they are TMI, but I feel if I write them down, it will help reinforce them in my mind. I've only been at work 15 minutes and I'm already feeling as though I could hyperventilate.

    J4T July 17:
    1. Log every bite
    2. Stay in the Green
    3. Drink half my weight in water
    4. Knee PT exercises
    5. Prep for tomorrow, tonight
    6. Deep breaths at work. One day at a time, one hour at a time, even one minute at a time if it comes to that. Try not to let the anxiety take hold. It's only a job.
    7. Take 3 separate moments today to address each: Body, Mind & Spirit.
    8. Write in my Daily Gratitude journal tonight.
    9. Unplug and be sleeping by 10:30 tonight

I hope you all have a really great day! Keep up the great work! So many great goals on here!

Welcome to our new friends and welcome back to everyone who has been gone on vacation.

Bex, good luck at your doctor appointment!

Busy few days to recap (for myself)

    Recap 7/14 F
    1) Keep net calories in the green...going for 2 days in a row = Yay green 88 even w/o dog walk
    2) Read thru week's sales ads & shop if necessary :/
    3) Meditate :/
    4) Prep bday card and bday / belated grad gifts for nieces (take w/ on Sat.) = Ready
    5) Prep dessert for Sat. = Chocolate zucchini cake ready!

Sat. went to farmers market and walked dog 3.58 miles in a.m. then off to middle brother's pig roast. As I promised myself, only logged Sat. weigh-in and no log of food / drink or exercise. I ate moderately behaved, had only one beer & skipped the margaritas. Drove home thru some pretty strong thunderstorms. :#

Sun. slept in with hubby, so nice! No dog walk, spent afternoon getting new phones, at least that's done. We ate at IHOP after and I logged everything. Calories in the red, and sodium really high, of course. Still a great day! <3

    Now JFT 7/17 M
    1) Walked dog 3.4 miles before a.m. dentist appt. = happy dog  Just found out coyote was sighted yesterday a.m. in same city park we walk by = oh my! :o
    2) Keep net calories in green
    3) Meditate in afternoon...stop stressing about work project
    4) Evening, prep food for Tues. & clean up kitchen
    5) Unwind 9:30 & bedtime w/ TV off 10:15

Weekly Weigh-In = When I'm active I eat back calories / sometimes too much. My sweet tooth / chocolate is my downfall. I weigh myself daily and log weekly / posting my Saturday a.m. weigh-in here.

    Height 5'4"
    GW #1: 150
    GW #2: 145
Ultimate Goal Range: 140 - 145 [anything less is probably unsustainable]
    July Goal: lose 3 - 4# and stay < 174

5/31 = 180.5 two end of month celebrations
    6/3 = 177.5
    6/10 = 179.5 pre-10K spaghetti supper night before
6/17 = 179.5 numerous meals away from home, several occasions w/ alcohol, happy no gain
6/24 = 178.0 fluctuated during week, but ended ok
7/1 = 176.0 Yay!!! Achieved June goal to stay <180
    7/8 = 177.5
    7/15 = 176.5

    Plan for 7/18:

    1) Log all food, but do not obsess about the way I eat
    2) Have half a piece of cake for breakfast and not feel guilty
    3) Try to get to work early, work focused the whole day
    4) Go to the gym after work, do 20 min cardio and my full strength training & try something with free weights
    5) Treat myself to thai food after gym (eat only half the portion and keep the other for the next days lunch)

I have been seeing some messages in our neighborhood "Nextdoor" thread about coyotes on the west side! I was so surprised! We used to live in the country and I never even saw one there!

@OConnell5483 @cschmitz110515 I live in the middle of the woods in a little slice of heaven in the middle of surburbia hell in New Jersey and we have coyotes. They leave us alone though. Our next big thing to worry about is black bears.

    Haven't ran all week, :(
I haven't felt well and my calories have been up and down all week......maybe it's just stress. This semester of Physics is pretty challenging! Since I have to focus on my classes, I am planning a little "get-a-way" with my husband after this semester. Then I plan to do a detox for a week and reset my caloric intake. Hopefully I can succeed before Fall semester begins. Fall semester will be brutal so I need a fresh start!!

I hope all is well with everyone!! B)

    1. Log every bite, and at least try to make them healthy bites.
    2. Drink 64 oz of water
    3. Use calming techniques throughout the day. Deep breaths. It's just a job.

I love this!! This is my problem also - I eat something I don't think I should, and instead of telling myself that it is OK, I feel guilty - and then just give up. I think I am a "all or nothing" person

I know its stress eating, as our daughter is getting worse, and we are so busy work-wise. I do good all day, only to eat and snack in the evenings.

Exactly my pattern also. I eat really healthy all day and blow it between 7:30 and 8:30 every single night. I'm not giving up either, but I do have to admit that I do feel like it. Hang in there! We can and we WILL do this!

As for goals for Monday, July 16, 2017

    1. Log all food :)
    2. Stay in the green :)
    3. Clean bathroom :/
    4. Put laundry away :/
    5. Finish dishes :/
    6. Print out picture for meeting :)
    7. Attend work meeting :)
    8. Make yummy dinner :/
    9. Yoga :)
    10. Bedtime whenever :)Something like 1:30. I got caught up in a book.

The meeting yesterday went really well. And I realized what my problem is with my selling technique. I dont know how to ask effective questions. If I knew how to ask a leading question that helps me to understand my customer and develop a trust between us as well allowing me to pitch the products then I would be all set so the last two days I have been reading as much as I can about effective questions. So I have to get over my fear of looking stupid and overstepping bounds and get to a point where I feel a bit more comfortable with my knowledge of the products I think I will do well. It's already 3:40 in the afternoon. Sheesh, where did the day go?!

Well here are the goals I have done/will do:

    1. Log all food
    2. Stay in green
    3. Day 6 of Yoga with Adrienne
    4. Finish dishes!!!!
    5. Put laundry away!!
    6. Make yummy dinner and eat proper portions!
    7. Dont be afraid to be hungry
    8. Stop eating late at night!!
    9. Wind down by 9 pm
    10. Bed by 10 pm

    Have a great day everyone!
