I totally missed getting on here last nite to post my goals. After having TWO bad days with eating sugar, I am finding how hard it is to get back motivated again. Those bad habits can come back SO quickly - but I'm not going to let them. I also forgot how Crappy I feel when I eat that junk. Why can't my brain remind me of this more often!

So my goals for tomorrow will be simple again .... to get back on track!

    Friday, NOV 3

    1. go to the gym - start the day out the right, positive way
    2. log ALL food
    3. stay away from anything with sugar in it. I have to detox the sugar out of my system
    4. drink lots of water
    5. be mindful of what I eat
    6. get back on here tomorrow - be accountable.

I had 1 TINY piece of chocolate and was only 15 carbs over budget. So I'm considering this a win!!!

Great job!! YES - definitely a win!!!

    1: Stay below carb goal❌
2: Drink as much water as yesterday ❎
    3: Stay calm✅
    4: Be positive✅
    5: No Sugar!!!! ❎
6: Bonus: Stay under calorie goal✅

Yesterday was ok. A friend spontaneously took me out for lunch because I'm leaving (I'm expecting more of that to happen over the next two weeks... I have a lot of friends at work. They are all very sweet. It just makes counting carbs/calories difficult). I ate dinner at my parents place so I didn't quite make my carb goal. I only had a tiny bit of sugar - my willpower was pretty good. Today I'm hoping to have none at all and to be even better!

Thank you for your kind words @joan6630 ! I appreciate you posting in both places. I'm hoping I will be able to stick to following up on my posts here.

Even if I don’t post I am still reading :) xx

    Me too!

4 try not to feel guilty about yesterday, today is a new day!

Ok. Today was a total failure. I'll go back to having no more than 3 daily goals and work my way back up.

    Nov 4th:

    Stay under 100 carbs
    Drink loads of water
    Bonus: stay under 2000 cals.

    3 yoga sesson ❌ optimistic
4 try not to feel guilty about yesterday, today is a new day! ✅

    Saturday 4th November Goals:

    1. go to the gym - start the day out the right, positive way :)
    2. log ALL food :)
    3. stay away from anything with sugar in it. I have to detox the sugar out of my system :) Hubby wanted a shake at mcdonalds -- he had his chocolate shake, but I opted for a Strawberry/Bananna smoothie instead. 330 calories versus 880 calories - and no sugar!
    4. drink lots of water :/
    5. be mindful of what I eat :)
    6. get back on here tomorrow - be accountable. :)

    Tomorrow, sat Nov 4
    1. log all food
    2. gym in the morning
    3. be mindful of what I eat
    4. drink water!!!!
    5. get back on here tomorrow - be accountable

Great job! And definitely, do not punish over a few peas. I love the goal of listening to your body - I may borrow that one!

    2. Drink more water.
    3. limit snacks after dinner (at work).
    4. do more strengthening. (gotta get rid of those flabby arms)

@joan6630 it's one I learned from doing a 100km (62 mile) walk called the Cotswold Way Challenge. It took 31 hours, other than occasional food/toilet stops it's non stop. No sleep! I am exercise averse so this was a massive achievement for me. Anyway, both the challenge itself and the training were really helpful in getting to know my body: when I needed calories/toilet/water/caffeine etc and knowing my limits.

    Just for Saturday:
    1. I will not work
    2. I will go to fabric store for quilting material (leaving right now actually...)
    3. log ALL food
    4. Stay away from added sugar
    5. Hydrate!
    6. Only eat at the table and be mindful of what I'm eating
    7. Body Groove workout
    8. Be grateful, read Simple Abundance and write in gratitude journal

Every journey starts with one step....we can do this! One day at a time.

Ok. This is rediculous! I really need to get serious. I did OK today considering that it was a social day... but I need to do better. I was still 30 carbs and 200 cals over my goals!

    Nov 5th:
    Stay under 100 carbs
    Absolutely NO sugar

Massive fail yesterday. I didn't do any of what I set myself. Wine came out at lunch and didn't stop. Very disappointing.

I want to set myself up to succeed, not fail, so I'm only setting two small goals for today. (I've really been struggling lately.)
    • Eat breakfast.
    • Walk for 10 minutes.

It’s a very up and down journey and sometimes days are like that!
But every day is a new day to start again :)
Good luck with your goals, you’ll smash it!

Thanks, I really appreciate the encouragement.

I did eat breakfast, which is good. I have medication I need to take with food, so skipping breakfast lately means I've been forgetting to take my medicine later. In about an hour, I'll be taking that walk.

How have you been doing? :)

    Alright :)
I have medication I have to take before food and caffeine (about 30mins) so the first 30 mins of the day no one should speak to me until I get a coffee

I don’t really post goals much atm, I’m 23 weeks pregnant so everything’s kind of on hold. But come March it’s all go and can get my body back! Especially seeing as this is my final baby!

But I love coming here to chat and to motivate others :)
