@joan6630 it's one I learned from doing a 100km (62 mile) walk called the Cotswold Way Challenge. It took 31 hours, other than occasional food/toilet stops it's non stop. No sleep! I am exercise averse so this was a massive achievement for me. Anyway, both the challenge itself and the training were really helpful in getting to know my body: when I needed calories/toilet/water/caffeine etc and knowing my limits.

    Just for Saturday:
    1. I will not work
    2. I will go to fabric store for quilting material (leaving right now actually...)
    3. log ALL food
    4. Stay away from added sugar
    5. Hydrate!
    6. Only eat at the table and be mindful of what I'm eating
    7. Body Groove workout
    8. Be grateful, read Simple Abundance and write in gratitude journal

Every journey starts with one step....we can do this! One day at a time.

    Nov 4th:

    Stay under 100 carbs❌
    Drink loads of water✅
    Bonus: stay under 2000 cals.❌

Ok. This is rediculous! I really need to get serious. I did OK today considering that it was a social day... but I need to do better. I was still 30 carbs and 200 cals over my goals!

    Nov 5th:
    Stay under 100 carbs
    Absolutely NO sugar

Massive fail yesterday. I didn't do any of what I set myself. Wine came out at lunch and didn't stop. Very disappointing.

    Nov 5
    1 log all calories
    2 stay under calorie goal
    3 hydrate
    4 listen to my body

I want to set myself up to succeed, not fail, so I'm only setting two small goals for today. (I've really been struggling lately.)
    • Eat breakfast.
    • Walk for 10 minutes.

It’s a very up and down journey and sometimes days are like that!
But every day is a new day to start again :)
Good luck with your goals, you’ll smash it!

Thanks, I really appreciate the encouragement.

I did eat breakfast, which is good. I have medication I need to take with food, so skipping breakfast lately means I've been forgetting to take my medicine later. In about an hour, I'll be taking that walk.

How have you been doing? :)

    Alright :)
I have medication I have to take before food and caffeine (about 30mins) so the first 30 mins of the day no one should speak to me until I get a coffee

I don’t really post goals much atm, I’m 23 weeks pregnant so everything’s kind of on hold. But come March it’s all go and can get my body back! Especially seeing as this is my final baby!

But I love coming here to chat and to motivate others :)

Whoohoo! Finally a day where I stuck to my goals!!

I also drank loads of water and was under my calorie goal... so Yay!!! I'm hoping to keep it up tomorrow. I also did my big cleaning/organizing/purging session that I usually do before winter comes. I changed around my closet and got the spare room cleaned up. So I'm feeling on top of the world!!!

It seems to me that keeping a smaller list of goals helps me achieve them...

    So tomorrow:

    Nov. 6:
    Stay under 100 carbs
    Absolutely NO sugar
    Drink lots of water

    Back for Day 2!
    • Eat breakfast.
    • Walk for at least 15 minutes at lunch.
    • Start taking iron supplement (per doctor's instructions). For some reason, I'm finding this difficult to do time-wise.

Well, if I eat every day for the next five weeks like I ate yesterday, I'll be up 6 pounds! So obviously I blew the calorie count. Who knew pretzel rods added up so quickly? That's my go to snack when I'm working. Something about the crunch is soothing.

I need to drink water at work. I plan to, but then it's just coffee coffee coffee. In addition to the elliptical this morning, and a better effort at a calorie count, I want to go for 32 oz of H2O during the day.

    Nov. 6:
    Stay under 100 carbs X
    Absolutely NO sugar X
    Drink lots of water X

I didn't make my goals yesterday... but I DID say "no" to going out for sushi and manage to keep my cals below 2000, so it was still a win

    Nov. 7th:
    Stay under 2000 cals
    Stay under 108 Carbs
    Drink 2L of water

    SO JFT, Tuesday
    1. log all food
    2. going out to dinner with a friend - make wise decisions
    3. drink water in the evening
    4. minimum 8 glasses of water today. This is still the hardest goal for me to meet for some reason -- I just keep forgetting to drink water!

Hi! I would love to give this a try to help me feel connected and accountable!
    1. Stay hydrated.
    2. Say no to leftover Halloween candy and desserts!
    3. Be mindful of my macros and calorie count
    4. Remember to breathe when I am losing patience with my kiddos!

 sounds like the calorie intake from my birthday earlier this year!

I think a lot of us struggle with water, I know I do anyway.
Sometimes I only drink like 2 cups per day!
Honestly I don’t know how I don’t shrivel like a prune from dehydration or something! Im like a cactus!

Good luck on getting the water up!
