Yep. I don't even like having 2 different types of meat in the same meal, let alone in the same dish. So really, any type of "mystery meat" concoction seems like a science experiment and not anything that should be eaten.
Also, all these fried carnival/fair foods are weird. Deep fried Kool-aid? Deep fried butter? Really? Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

This thread has reminded me that I have a bunch of dried fruit marinating in Grand Marnier and that I'd better turn it into fruitcake ASAP. My fruitcake does not suck.7

Kale . . . I know it's good for you, but it tastes terrible!! I have tried to like it, but I just can't. BLECK.

Creamed corn out of a can is gross. Real creamed corn (real corn sauteed and served in a cooked down cream sauce), is delicious.
I also have a huge love of creamed spinach. It might actually be one of my desert island foods.2 -

Salted licorice is licorice flavoured, not red vine flavoured (calling that stuff licorice is wrong imo)...

You do know what the words 'natural casing' on packages of bratwursts, Italian sausages, Frankfurters, breakfast links, etc means right? You never eat any of those? Ever? It would make me so sad to never have a bratwurst again.1 -

Because that was all the slaves were ALLOWED. They had no choice but to eat that and field greens to survive. One does what one must to live. Then it is passed down and down generations.6 -
