To fit easily into my judging outfit. I’m judging my first official competition jan 13 and I’m hoping to fit into it comfortably by then instead of me feeling like a sausage: too tightly wrapped4

AND 188# will be HALF of my SW when I joined WW in January 2013 at age 65!
SW 376
CW 196
GW ? Below 185?
Achieved my mini goal last week,
CW 188.2
Next mini goal 179!
Then set my official GW with WW.
My Dr suggested 179 for a healthy BMI at 5’8”. That would put my total WL at -197, May as well go for GW 176, an even two hundred pounds below SW!

There's a gym onboard the ship, but we all know that while we have the best intentions... Therefore my mini goal is to maintain my current weight until mid-Jan (although I'd be accepting of an additional 1-2lbs).
Just make a plan for when you'd like to hit the gym. Maybe you could start every day a little earlier and include some exercise? Over Thanksgiving, we traveled for ten days, and even on our long driving days, I fit in a half-hour on the treadmill or stairmaster. Think of it as getting your money's worth for the cruise- the gym is an amenity you should enjoy!
I've booked in some early morning excursions on a few of the days, but otherwise I can definitely get into the gym first thing. I love working out in the morning too, to get it out of the way. Thanks for this - I really needed to hear it from someone who managed to find the time without excuses!
I just went on a 5 day cruise and lost weight! No joke! I ran for 25 min every day, took the stairs and did not eat sweets except for crepes one night. I was surprised that I lost weight, I think it was the running. Good luck!8 -
My mini goal is to take it one meal at a time. I tend to stress eat so I am learning how to allow Holy Spirit to guide me through this process. Galatians 5:22-236

Losing 10 percent of my SW (352.6 pounds), since that's always the medical trope. Only 5.1 pounds to go as of this morning!14

Getting my nose all the way to the floor when I do push-ups. Those last few inches are REALLY tough!9
-
I want to be able to do a set of 10 push ups, getting nose as close as possible to floor without resting on floor. I can do this as incline using my Reebok step on highest setting so far5

March 1st I decided to change my lifestyle and really lose the weight once and for all. I started out at 214 and got down to 196 before I got depressed, lost motivation, and started slipping. Then, my mother passed away.
From June until October 23rd I gained back all but 3 of those pounds I lost started at 211 this time. I am down to 200.6 now and want to get down to 196 or below by the new year. It will put me back where I was finally and feel more like a true starting point.
I was 195.6 as of 12/25. I think there will only be a small loss on 1/1 or I will just end up maintaining, but still I made my goal. I am under 196!
Next mini goal is to get out of the 190s! Hopefully by the end of January.
189.4 as of this morning 1/14!
My next mini goal is to lose 10 lbs so I can get out of the 180s and no longer be obese just overweight.
Let's try for the first week in March? Will update when I reach it.
February and March were rough months for me. I recorded my first ever gain from week to week in January and by February my mind was just in a bad place.
I had been eating at a deficit for over three months at that point and the weight just wasn't moving the way it once did.
I got overwhelmed, I got complacent, and I just stopped tracking and going to the gym. I didn't really gain any weight (thank goodness) besides some water weight, but I didn't lose any weight either.
Two weeks ago I decided after weeks of saying I was going to get back on the horse to actually get back on the horse.
Finally reached 179.8 lbs today which means I am no longer obese. It didn't even hit me until I was out today clothes shopping that I have finally done it. I'm no longer obese.
Just wanted to update to encourage people who sometimes have a hard time. You'll get there even if it takes longer than you'll think. You'll get there.
So next mini goal. . .under 170. I'll update when I make it.
Drumroll please.
Ladies and gentlemen as of today I am finally under 170 lbs!
I started my journey on MFP back on October 23 at 211 lbs. My first real goal in my mind was to get to 170 lbs. I hadn't weighed 170 lbs since my freshman year of college. I have tried losing the weight many times, but every time I would lose some weight and then gain much, much more. Never, ever getting this low.
I never thought I would see the day again I was under 170 lbs. These last few weeks have been hard. So many days I felt like I was working and working for nothing, but this is proof that it does pay off eventually. I could cry I'm so happy.
So next goal is to make it under 160 lbs. Won't that be surreal.
As of this morning's weigh in, I am under 160 lbs.
I lied about being 160 lbs on my driver's license almost a decade ago now and never changed it nor ever reached that number. Now I'm under 160 lbs. Under it.
This means that I have lost over 50 pounds since I started trying to lose the weight this last time on October 23rd. I am also only 10 pounds or so away from a normal BMI now.
I never imagined I'd get here.
Next mini goal: get under 150 lbs which was my original ultimate weight loss goal and will give me a normal BMI and then we'll start working on vanity weight.
There may be another update since this one but I just wanted to say how great it was reading all of your quotes and to see how exciting it was when you reached each goal!
I just realized, after reading this, that my license still says the weight I was when I first got it as a teenager, I'm still about 20 lbs away, but much closer than when I started. It will be fun to hit that number again!5 -
To be able to get back to my regular running. Curse knee injuries!! 3 months sidelined is too long!5
-
My mini goal was to get back into my old big pants ( which I outgrew in October) That hasn't quite happened yet, but my current bigger pants are getting loose! I went to hear my favorite 80s cover band last night, and as soon as I started to dance, my pants started to fall off! I folded over the waistband and danced cautiously.4

Getting to 131, 3lbs less than now. I will have lost 45lbs then.9
