Today’s a special day for me so I needed to make a before and after picture. Today 4 years ago is the day I first started using mfp and the day I first started this journey. I lost 35 lb the first year, and then I fell off track for a couple years and gained some back. I’m human. But then this year I kicked it in gear and now have lost 52 lb since this day 4 years ago. To be honest, I think I look younger now than I did 4 years ago.. healthier at least.141 -
Yes healthier and younger!!1

Posting another comparison because I'm really feeling myself today. Roughly 270 to 220. I'm so close to the 50 pound mark! That's christmas of last year. I'm 5'7", 24.51 -

not younger - happier. I think you look pretty young in photo 1. In photo 2 you look more adult and much more happier.11 -

8 months in maintenance now.
I still love working out--strength training 3-4x/week, running 3x/week, swimming 1-2x/week.
Going in for skin removal surgery this month, since I have a large quantity around my stomach, butt, and thighs. The dr. said I've gotten rid of as much as I can through diet and exercise. He estimates 5-8 lbs will come off in skin.

When is your surgery? I had a vertical tummy tuck and an arm lift in July last year. Going for thighs this year. Trying to lose 15-20 more before I go. 9 gone so far. 79 total. Trying to be ready by the end of March for it.15 -

@JulieSHelms thank you for sharing your activity level. How did you change your diet and do you have any advice on sticking with it?
Thank you

Hey Sara, I don't think I have a naturally healthy relationship with food, so I continue to track it on MFP even though I've been in maintenance for 8 months--I'm afraid of reverting to my old ways if I don't keep intentional about it. As long as I'm paying attention I do fine. That's my big whopping advice--keep tracking! As for how my eating looks now compared to previously--I eat more calories now than when losing obviously, but I have permanently cut back (not cut out) on the quantity of carbs. I'm insulin resistant from PCOS so get in trouble with carbs easily. So I have spaghetti once a week, instead of 3x a week from the old days, for example. I also eat a whole lot more protein because of all the working out.8 -
469 to 180
Started in 2011 still working my way to goal.
Phenomenal!!! "INTENT reveals desire, ACTION reveals commitment." What a commitment, you look amazing and I know you will reach your goal just looking how far you've come. Continuing to believe and choose to succeed, you got this!!!19 -

A priceless moment, I'm sure! Congrats, fantastic job and very inspiring. Be proud!32 -
This is me, two years apart in the same shirt. For a long time my diet consisted of just buying a bigger shirt. I am not doing that anymore.
I am down from 319lbs to ~227lbs depending on the time of day,
My first goal weight is 200lbs and I started in June, so I hope to reach my first goal that by April 2018.
Please forgive the sloppy appearance in my progress photo, I just took it. And forgive the dirty room in the background, there's a reason for that but that's not a story for here. Unfortunately, that room is the only one with a full length mirror.
My diary is always open of you want to take a look.
And remember, no zero days. Even if you only do one push-up the whole day, it counts as doing something.
Feel free to friend me or ask questions, I am an open book.
Good for you, change our mindset and change your body! You are doing so great, believe it and achieve it. You got this!!!:)21 -

I`m not a strict follower of MFP anymore, but for the first 10kg weight loss I was very persistent with tracking. Got a little more to go (cause I don`t look so good with clothes off), but I`m still pretty happy with what I`ve achieved so far.
Great achievement, be proud!!! Love you hair11
