Allie - I agree with what's been said about your constant contact with TomCat and even his family. While what I say is IMHO, you are setting yourself up by letting him know anything about your father's estate. None of that absolutely none, is TomCat's business. I think most of us would like to know you have made a clean break from him. Staying in contact with him is dragging the divorce out, because dragging his feet is to his advantage. While it is known you love the dogs you had to eave with him, you are his 'dog sitter/walker' - something he doesn't have to do for himself. I'm sure you love your FnL (again assuming he is TomCat's father. He won't be once you are divorced either ... but you continue going to feed him, again something TomCat is letting you do - Clean break, it's not like he won't be fed if you don't show up. One or both of you need to tell him about the pending divorce. Who is the Executor/Executrix of you Dad's Will? If you are tell your brother (and especially his wife - who doesn't have a dog in this fight) to back the "kitten" off. If the things such as the guns were specifically left to one or the other then that person gets them. If not, you both have an equal share, you can take the ones you want, and give the remainder of them to your brother. What he does with them afterwards are his. But normally property is not divided until Probate is closed, to make sure creditors are paid and money owed to the estate is collected. This means, at least where I live an ad has to be taken out to run in the local paper is run 4 weeks once a day showing whoever is the executor/executrix so this will be done. You can also contact the by phone or provide them with written proof that his has died. And they either owe you money or you owe them. Things that are secured should be paid off first before any unsecured debt. They cannot make you pay anything not secured and if the money is used up. They can't push for either of you to pay your Dad's bills. It really isn't a requirement in some states to actually go through probating a Will, especially if there are no debts. Your attorney ought to be able to guide you through the process (maybe for a nominal fee), then you don't have to continue having your brother add to the stress of going through a divorce at the same time. Taking off the added stress.

Oooh just got back from Fred Meyers! Spent $35.91 (to make 7 more days meals), and had $28.70 in coupons savings! That's 52% in total savings! I rock! And my dear husband snuck in a 6 pack of Coke! I bought a large container of Greek vanilla yogurt, yeah me!

At last my son has replied to my text. He's back at work on Monday. He says it is a "massive relief".
I dare say he's learnt his lesson for the time being, but there is a long road ahead.
Love Heather UK xxxxxxx9 -
Heather, what a relief! I'm sure he will be really good for a time, but as you say, it is a long road ahead.
Becca, woohoo! Love getting great paybacks with coupons! Don't think I've ever done that well, but have had some good days with them. Nice getting stuff for almost nothing once in awhile!
At work today, back is sort of behaving, mind you I am taking it easy! My boss is awesome and willing to let me be a bit of a slug. Fortunately this is not a busy time of the month.
Gotta go!

Heather, great news about your son.1

Ok so a stupid question. When making the fake frozen fanta is the jello the package dry stuff or is the jello already made? And what size package? Also couldn’t find WW jello.
Terry clueless in VT0 -
Heather, what a sigh of relief you must have put up at that news! Even the longest roads begin with that single step. In Texas parlance, he "dodged a bullet" on that one. I am trying not to hover over my prodigal... harder than imaginable when we were ready for him to leave home just five years ago!

Terry - most stores here have sugar-free Jell-O, if you don't mind some artificial sweetener. I depend on the stuff lately. And you can freeze Jell-O, once made, and then buzz it up in a blender, I would think.0

I always think of Orange when I hear Fanta, but I guess it does come in Strawberry and maybe Grape, too.
I got my husband and me matching iPhones today. I traded in my six plus on a regular rose gold 8, and traded his ancient flip phone for a space gray 8. I got him a black case and me a pink one. Isn’t this just the sweetest thing ever? (Sarcasm) now he has been given instruction on how to use it and to leave it on. He kept his other one off and never took it with him. Verizon was running a deal where you get one free with the purchase of one if you used the unlimited data plan. It worked out cheaper than buying two phones.7 -

Did a step DVD today. The plan for tomorrow is to do a Prevention DVD.
Exercised, went to Beal's and got shoes (mine were falling apart) WE HAVE REFRIGERATION!! So I went to Aldi and I think I may have gone a little hog-wild buying food. But it feels so so good to be able to have something that can be frozen/refrigerated. Actually, they didn't have us on the schedule to deliver the refrigerator today but Vince called and made a bit of a stink and they brought it here late in the morning.
Just went to WalMart for a few things, Vince needed soda.
Wendy - you are a hoot
Lanette - we just have to give Bonnie a sedative. Otherwise, the cats are fine traveling. Lexi just turtles up and doesn't move. It took Loki a minute and he was under the coffee table. They love it down here. There isn't the room like we have a home but there are enough different things (wide windowsills they can sit on for example) that they're fine. Let's see -- what vegetables will Vince eat. Corn, carrots, white (not sweet or white sweet) potatoes, lettuce (he likes iceburg but he gets and eats romaine), he'll eat celery if he must, but I usually have it. Guess that about covers it.
We're going to watch the opening ceremonies for the Olympics
Barbara - the class was apologizing to their butts because the next exercise was going to target (hurt) the butt. So they were apologizing before they gave it pain...lol
KJ - snow day! You pool dear. It's in the 80's here. Love it, went to the pool earlier.
Welcome everyone new
Allie - I agree with Mary, you ARE sabotaging yourself by talking so much with Tom. I'm sure there's someone else who can do the same thing for you
Just made 2 baked potatoes for Vince later
Felicia - points for training???? Please explain.
Heather - good for you and your son
Opening ceremonies calling.
