Like the MFP mods? Weird. I wanna follow everyone on IG! (I won't post mine but its pretty close to my MFP name.)
There is some rule that you are not allowed to post personal contact information in the thread, you have to PM it but I believe I found you in Google and followed you So you can look at my followers and find @JessicanMCB
I get personal contact info (like I'd never post my phone here) but social media seems odd to label as personal contact.0 -

Yayyy! But also, I'm sorry. Lmao. You never know, there's always some other excuse that will come along! About a month after I fixed mine it was February, my birthday month, which was totally justification to upgrade mine1 -

I totally agree. But not my house, not my rules. *shrugs*1 -

lol, we are all now going round stalking each other.....mine isn't the same as MFP, but the noise a small stinging insect makes as it is collecting nectar for honey.......so many usernames, I forget who I am sometimes (have to let my head cool off some of the time)2 -
I forgot to tell you all about this great audience I had for a recent run. Felt like they were cheering me on...11

If y'all get requests from someone whose handle reminds you of Sir Mix A Lot...it might be me2 -
I decided to do my weights this morning and I'm going to run after my doctor's appointment. Should be a bit mid-50s by then instead of low 40s.

This is why I use my realname or something like it pretty much everywhere. Too confusing to remember who I am!3

February
Goal: 35 miles <--this might have been a bit optimistic or just bad math! LOL.
Completed: 17.5 miles
02/02/2018: C25K - Week 5 Day 1
02/05/2018: C25K - Week 5 Day 2
02/07/2018: C25K - Week 5 Day 3
02/09/2018: C25K - Week 6 Day 1
02/10/2018: 2 hours of horse training/riding
02/11/2018: 3 miles of snowshoeing
02/12/2018: C25K - Week 6 Day 2
02/14/2018: C25K - Week 6 Day 3
02/16/2018: C25K - Week 7 Day 1
02/19/2018: C25K - Week 7 Day 2
02/21/2018: C25K - Week 7 Day 3
02/23/2018: Had to skip running; heel pain and want to address this NOW.
I'm frustrated to have to skip a planned run so close to the end of this program. I'm not sure if I have the start of Plantar Fasciitis or Achilles Tendonitis - but I plan to get it checked out asap before it gets worse. I could've run - it's minor and I only feel it when I bend over (a burning sensation at the back and base of my heel). Likely I just need to do targeted stretches and massage but I'll stop at an ortho-quick today just to nip this issue in the bud now. I have two friends who have PF and they are miserable; one had surgery the other is scheduled to have it next month.6 -
Happy Friday!
2/17 - 2.85M = 2.85 miles
2/18 - none
2/19 - 1.25 = 4.10
2/20 - none
2/21 - 2.0 = 6.10
2/22 - 2.5 = 8.6
2/23 - 1.8 = 10.4
Goal - 15Miles
Hoping to get out after work for a 2-3 miles.4 -

So, I have a timing issue...
On 3/17 I am signed up for a Half Marathon followed by a 5k followed by a 1 miler. The course is rumored to have many steep hills. So while it will be my first official HM, I am not planning on getting my fastest possible time.
The big question I need figure out is that I am scheduled to donate blood 3 days before. I usually react badly to donations and take time to recover (sometimes cannot even drive home)
So now I am worried that I am donating to close to the race. But the drive is at my work so it is very convenient. UGH. Not sure what to do. Not like I can move the blood drive or the race. No one ever asks me about scheduling these things. *sigh*0 -

Are you a rare blood type Pastor V? If not I'd do the blood another day personally.1 -

Type-O, so yeah, one of the more important types. I am called non-stop0 -
Finally to the taper part of training yea! Now not to eat all the food. I went out and did a really slow run this morning and it felt like he l. It was that misty rain this morning that doesn't get you quite wet but annoying enough to bother your eyes. I've been trying to schedule the rest of my taper runs with other runners so I won't have any "here hold this..." moments.
@JessicaMcB - Great job fighting through and getting 1 OA Female!! That sounds torturous. I don't know how you ultra folks do it. Did I scan somewhere that you're sponsored now!? WOW! I hope your knee heals fast!
@PastorVincent - They normally have Blood drives at work on Wednesday's. I've done short easy runs 6 hours after, though not recommended. I've run (not raced) a couple shorter (5k, 10K's) on Saturday after donating. Always have a headache that night and the following day. I've skipped donating if I have anything longer than 10k. Given your previous reaction to donating, distance, and elevation, I would donate at least a week previous to running a race.
It looks like there might be a little MFP Embrace The Suck showing at Shamrock in VB on March 17 with @MobyCarp and @zdyb23456 and myself. I hope I get to meet you guys.6
