Got the palm of hand to 4" above elbow off Thursday and now have a removable wrist splint. Supposed to leave it on as much as possible to hold down the pain, which might last as much as 6 months. I can't take Tramadol either, especially with bipolar meds. Been fighting being Dilantin Toxicity since out of hospital; now back to pre-hospital dosage as well as Lamictal. Three levels and now back to less than what my levels have been that were controlling seizures. Will see NeuroMD again in mid- to late-April. He is checking with PsycheMD to make sure if he works at taking me off Dilantin and increases my Lamictal that it won't affect Bipolar meds. The more I go to any of my MDs the more convinced than ever that 'finally' are on the same 'dance card'. Sending labs and records to one another, with all going to PsycheMD.

Now keeping up with food; exercise will be working out in studio, but, it won't be like emptying it out and taking stuff back in when Suzanne comes back down; but will be easier to see. Really need to buy some boxes (small enough to move around) and Kraft paper to rewrap what is in them. Christmas and Holidays up over the rafters. Trey and Jenn's stuff on the opposite rafters. Maybe I will be able to find more of my art supplies.

Feeling much better, go to PT on Thursday; but will be asking if they can print off the exercises after they show me correct way to do them at home, since I am 25 miles away and on a 'driving restriction'. Will also be talking to NeuroMD regarding "Narcolepsy" ... because I get so sleepy during the day.

Good thoughts and prayers for all who need them. Enjoying the inspiring quotes. Need to get up and make the bed. Thinking it is time to change the duvet to the summer spread. Will be easier to make bed because it won't be so heavy.

I know when I worked for GMAC/MIC, they would have an early retirement program for people over a certain age who had worked for the company for 25, maybe 30 years - I don't remember. I've had 2 jobs (only ones) that I have worked, which I loved ... I'm sure there were times that I did not like what I was asked to do; but, that was part of the job. Long after we moved, someone came into the building of GMAC and killed several employees and customers, the committed suicide. I knew at least two of them, sad. He went through and systematically killed the ones who had taken cover under their desks, the rest went out a door in the rear. If I had still been working there at their old office, I could have easily gone out the back door because my desk was in the 2nd row from the back. Sometimes when people wrecked their vehicles they'd come in bitching because they thought the insurance that covered GMAC for the car only was all they needed; although the dealership would tell them that until they secured their own insurance and showed proof the insurance would be added to the payment. Stolen cars usually ended up in Alabama, because at the time Alabama did not a 'title' certificate of ownership. I worked in the claims department. I know when I met the man who was the finance man at one of the dealerships, he had the sexist voice I had ever hears; but, the ladies told me to not be surprised when he showed up by how I pictured him to look/ I pictured a tall, dark, charming man; but when I met him he was short, beer-belly, white hair that was premature; but still very charming. I try not to visualize people who I have only talked to over the phone.

I lost 2.5 since I got weighed twice before. This time I was able to get weighed on Estee's scales which shows all the %s of water weight, body mass, muscle mass, and the like. I think eating left-handed slowed me down a lot. That is the only thing I think I have done that would cause that. I made supper last night with 1 pound of Italian sausage, 8 ounces of penne noodles, 1/3 cup of Italian dressing, juice from 1/2 of a lemon, 1/2 cup reserve of noodle water, and 1 cup of Italian cheese. Brown sausage and cook noodles, stir in noodles and the 1/2 cup of noodle water, dressing and mix. Before serving add in cheese and stir. Personally, I would have added another 1/2 cup of sausage (or less noodles). It called for Lemon dressing; but, I was not sure I would like it and it was more expensive. When I cook it again, I might even use Olive Garden instead as well. Unfortunately, it was very high in calories because of the noodles and cheese which you could add less of for sure. I cooked on days that I don't eat much during the day. We had enough to put up in the freezer; but there are only 2 of us.

I have not being too much because of the driving restriction and Trey has been bringing me home. Tuesday after next, I will be having an endoscopy. Then the only other body part they have not looked at will be my colon.

Lenora, so glad to hear from you! You sound like you have been through quite the ordeal! If I could knock on yer door and alleviate all that ails ya, I would!

Feeling better today, tired, always hungry, but OK. This is a crazy existence! I think now the doctors wish for his epidural out, so things start flowing. Husband stated he should order chili and realllly start things!!!!
