24 Hours of Exercise per Month Challenge - JUNE 2018

Here's the 24 hour challenge thread for JUNE . Let's do it again!! And welcome to any newcomers!

The goal is to accomplish at least 24 hours of exercise during the month.(MORE IS GREAT) Any type of activity that you would log in your exercise diary counts (both cardio and strength training) ~ walking, running, paddling, biking, swimming, gardening, weight training, dancing, HIIT, aerobics, elliptical, rowing, circuit training, stretching, etc. You get the idea.

For you BEASTS out there (you know who you are), if you want to do more, just post your personal goal that is over the baseline challenge goal.

And for anyone who wants to join part of the way through, just post a comparable goal to finish out the month (for example, joining half way through, post a goal of 12 hours).

There is no group for this and no private messages needed. No fancy spreadsheets either, just report your running totals here in the thread.

    In May, I completed 35 hours.
    I think I’ll shoot for that again!

    June 1: 174 minutes (121 - a challenging hike)
    Got in cardio and peak zones for most of it. I think I will look back and realize June 1st was a turning point for me.

    June 2: 89 minutes (79 - hike in hot sun. 10 running around with chores)
    Again in cardio & peak zones for most of the hike.

    02/06 25mins running (adjusted down as 5mins were warm up and cool down walk each) + 84mins walking

    First time here but I love the idea. So far I'm at 3 hours 22 minutes. I'm going to shoot for 24 hours this month but if I get there I'm going to increase my goal.
    6/3 gardening 2 hours 15 minutes
    6/4 strength training 35 minutes
    6/4 recumbent cycling 32 minutes

    6/2 : 64 min, walking - this was my rest day
    6/3 : 122 min, walking, treadmill
    6/4 : 137 min, treadmill, yoga, elliptical

    Fantastic idea! I'm in. Let's see real quick where I'm at right this moment... 2 hours and 4 minutes after 4 days. Brewing on the weekend should count for something, but I'm not sure what, so I'll just leave it off :tongue:
