Successes: Same as last week...Aggressively staying the course by careful logging, eating only protein and veggies, limiting low sugar fruits, and incorporating 2 healthy fats. Chasing after and caring for a 16 month old kept me moving! I barely had a chance to eat and had no problem exceeding my daily step goal!

I made GW in March 2018, I used Lose 52 Pounds In 52 Weeks Challenge in 2016 & 2017 to get to my GW by losing -37 and -43. (I had lost -110 2013-2015)
The 52/52 MFP Challenge helped me keep focus that a daily, weekly. Monthly challenge makes you realize that if you don’t lose a pound just keep going to get back on the minus side and it will happen. It took me five years but now at GW and on MFP Maintenance Challenge to keep it off.

Not a check in, but a update.
Just returned home after 2 weeks of travel visiting 2 different groups of family and an international work related reunion. So many good days filled with love, friendship, memories, food and drink. I visited with my 88 year old mother and a couple of siblings, grandchildren (so much energy) and old and new friends.
Will be flushing out the body with gallons of water over the next few days. I did manage to get a few runs/walks in but really feel like I need to put some road time in this week and track my food intake carefully. I am craving structure.
I will check in this weekend, assess the damage and carry on. So many people commented on my weight loss or made comments about me being a "tiny" person, I was walking on clouds. I owe the success to MFP and this challenge for the encouragement keeping me focused.2 -

I did not lose nor gain any weight this week.
I've hit a plateau (since 3 weeks I'm swinging between 80 - 78 kg. ) And I don't know what Im doing wrong I only do Jogging and some body weight exercises. Now I'm thinking about joining gym. Hope that will be helpful.

After some time many of us lose that "drive" or "fire". It gets difficult to stay motivated , stay focused.
So here, the Real secret is Determination and Passion. It's the Key !!! Without Focus, Motivation, And Determination we can't achieve anything.

The Background:
Current "Live Style Change" (Not a DIEt): 1650 kcal a day.
Currently three times a week at the Gym, program of 150 minutes Cardio/Strength (mixed exercises 11/13).
Every fourth-night a 60 minute session with a Personal Trainer.
Every workday a three mile walk.
Motivator: losing weight for 2nd kidney transplant in 2019(-ish?).
Being a kidney patient makes me fluctuate in weight very bad.
I can loose or gain 3 pounds or more in 24 hours on fluids alone.
Weigh in time: 0600 Hours.

I am fearful of the deep end of the swimming pool. Will be starting a swimming class tomorrow on overcoming fear of the deep end . Hope that I can accomplish this at the end of the 8 week session.3

@12774 Don't be discouraged by the lack of progress. You had a great loss last year and we are only half way through this year. You will succeed. I have also been at a stand still in my weight loss. I refuse to give up. We can do it.
Take the swimming slow if you need to. I was a non swimmer before the age of 40. My husband was very patient and taught me the basics of floating and keeping my head above water. I lived in Hawaii! I had to be a swimmer! I slowly learned to snorkel and loved being in the water. However I was terrified of jumping in the water (I have fallen off the dock a couple of times). Last summer I practiced jumping in the pool. First with a life jacked. In August 2017 I swam with whale sharks! Jumped off the boat (no jacket) 3 times! I am 59.2 -
@tammierlewis, thanks for the encouragement. My 1st class was held today but we did not go into the deep end , the instructor just checked out our skill level and I got the OK to proceed.I definitely think that I will succeed. Will keep posting.1
