September goals..

Accept progress isn't necessarily linear.

60+ miles this month. Maybe. If my body cooperates. Incorporate more cross training and tolerated PT exercises.

My mantra is f*rt the world, I'ma *kitten* slap this month if it tries to pull me down. 😁

I would like to run 48 miles in September. I would also like to speed my pace up. I am currently running a 10:15 mile. Right now I only run on a treadmill due to my schedule. I am hoping to run a 5K Turkey Trot this year.

Aiight, I am going for the 100-mile club again this month. Here's to a better September than August. Temps will be a tad lower (I hope). I am also switching marathon plans mid-training, going for a tad less ambitious plan and hoping the speed will still come. I am debating dropping to the half but goddamn it I want to run at least ONE *kitten* marathon!

Looks like I'm back to running just in time to join this thread! I missed out on August with a metatarsal stress fracture, but I'm out of the boot and cleared to run again. I'm setting a tentative goal of 75 miles (I'm hoping to still run the Chicago Marathon in October- the podiatrist said it is possible, but a little risky); my main goal though is just to build mileage as much as I can without re-injuring myself. Anything to stay out of the damn boot!

September is weeks 10-13 of marathon training... I'm aiming for 192 miles... yikes.

September - cooler temps are already here in the North, most small shrubs are already golden and some trees are starting to turn. 2 Trail races on back to back weekends, 21km Don't get lost in the woods and 10k Roots and Ruts. Maybe a 3rd race following the R&R - That Dam Run - Run across a Hydro Electric Dam and then into the trees to a viewpoint.
September Goal 140 km - stretch 180km.

Welcome to the new recruits and the wounded warriors returning in time for some of the best conditions.
Train all summer for the fall outdoor season.

I had a horrible August with being sick twice and so I didn't run very much. I'm not sure I want to set a mile goal, I run for minutes, and I've taken a step back and decided to do the c25k instead of just running straight, but I'm starting in the middle of the program. My goal is to run 3x a week.

I did 56 miles last month so I know I can do 50 - if I run as much as I've got scheduled I should hit 60. But my left foot is being weird so I don't want to push it. In for my usual 31 mi / 50k and a stretch goal of 50. I've got a 5k on the 15th which is the anniversary of the 1st 5k I ever did - had to run / walk it, had not yet finished c25k this time last year.
