I can't wait to be able to do that!3 -
I was walking around today wearing my 1 year old on my back (21, 22lbs). DH started a new job a couple of weeks ago that has him out from 8 am to 10 a lot of days, so I have to use the carrier around the house quite a bit with 3 little kids.
Anyway, I was walking around and the thought occurred to me that even wearing him around the house, thinking he was heavy, I am STILL walking around with less weight than just my body weight was 6 months ago. That really blew me away.
Also when I got my lipid panel results (I posted a couple of days ago) I made the realization that I'm not just skinnier/better looking/weigh less than I used to be. I have gone from unhealthy to a healthy person. This was the first time I have viewed myself as more healthy than average, or as healthy as "normal" healthy should be, pretty much ever. It took seeing it in actual lab results to believe it.

I've had exactly the same thing with my puppy! (In fact I was just about to type a post to that sentiment when I saw yours)
My puppy currently weights only slightly less than the amount that I've lost. He is so heavy right now! And yet, I used to carry around more than that all the time only 5 months ago. It crazy when you have an actual representation of how much you've lost, and you can see how heavy that is

I wore a foxy dress to the theatre on Saturday.

I finally busted through my plateau. Slow and steady wins the race!!!29

1. Yesterday I ran for 20 minutes -- albeit very slowly -- but it's the first time I've ever run 1.5 miles in one stretch IN MY LIFE, and I'm approaching 40. This C25K thing might actually be doable for me...
2. My second one is a little silly...but...I had to replace my gym key fob yesterday because it was so worn that the scanner couldn't easily read the bar code. I've finally become a person who goes to the gym regularly!34 -

I measured my weight loss in dogs! I have a 10lb pup, 15lb, and 30lb. "Honey I've lost a Sampson!" Or "I've lost 2 Yumi's". Good fun.16 -
A few NSVs for me this week.
- I am down by two pant sizes from size 20 U.S. women's to 16 U.S. women's.
- I am down by 1 shirt size from 2x to 1x. If my arms were smaller I could probably fit in a large.
- My band size went down from 42C to 38C.
I am so excited. I have meal prepped and planned for a little over a month. Even though I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, for the most part it's alright, I find myself being more relaxed over the week. The ability to just pick something out of the pantry, fridge, or freezer that is already weighed and measured is so awesome.29 -
@coolchick207 That coat is to die for. Awesome job!
I'm able to fit again into a fall jacket that I bought a couple years ago, just in time for fall. I bought it for a special concert so it has a lot of memories associated with it.

Yesterday, I was going through some clothes a friend gave me which no longer fit her. When I got them, they fit but were too snug to wear comfortably. I tried them on last night, and they fit! I have been looking forward to being able to wear these clothes for a couple months now, so I am super exited about it!23

Went to the mall (my wife made me). She said post Labor Day men's sales are great. I'm now an XL "Slim Fit" in shirts and a 34 waist in pants. I don't have much waist compared to squeezing into 37s/38s at my heaviest and XXL shirts but now a larger chest and shoulders -- four years in maintenance along with rowing/lifting consistently have done that to my body.
Because XL "slim fits" are one of those things that sit on the racks, they are marked off ridiculously. Was getting Calvin Klein shirts, Murano shirts for like $5 each. Got 7 pairs of shorts, one pair of slacks and 11 shirts for around $200. I bought half Labor Day weekend. Thought it was cheap then and the week after it was 60% off that sales price, so if I had waited till the weekend after Labor Day weekend, would have gotten it all for around $150. It might be more than that, I lost count. I'm set for a Summer wardrobe for years. My wife was so jealous because they NEVER discount womens' clothes like this. Many of the shirts were originally $60 each!!
Sorry ladies, prices on your clothes are simply awful. It's not really fair.30 -
I was jogging the other day, and I had to stop because the shorts I was wearing kept falling down. I had to stop, untie the drawstring and cinch them up. I hadn't change the knot for like 3 years.28

I knew I had a stressful meeting planned, which I was anxious about, so I scheduled it such that I could go to the gym right afterwards.
I was visualizing myself in my zone, with headphones in, on the elliptical, then lifting weights... Just knowing I'd be at the gym soon made me less anxious! I really truly look forward (now, for the first time ever) to spending time on and for myself, working out.27 -
I’m at a 50 day streak right now and that means this is the longest I’ve actually kept up with losing weight and exercising and being 1000x more healthy in general. Pretty awesome.31

That size 16 pants is such an awesome feeling, when I hit that I was so elated to be in a "normal" size. Then it hit me, a good 75% of clothing stores carry size 16 - a whole new shopping world opens up. And with the shrinking bra size, comes shrinking bra prices (along with actual nice looking bras that come in colors other than black, white, and tan).
Congratulations!!!!! That's amazingly Awesome.13 -

A midriff top and white jeans. I never thought I would ever be able to wear either of then confidently, let alone both of them together, and at 42! 3 years of work and then getting my belly flap removed restored so much confidence in me. And the mom in me was extra happy as they were both clearance items (jeans and top: $19!).
