    I have a gin (Bombay Saphire - 1/2 shot) and diet tonic (16 oz) with a half of a lime squeezed in it every night after working 15 hours (M-F). I figure I deserve it. I have two on Friday nights, No excuses. Its lower calorie, fat and carb than a beer and I LOVE IT. And I log every one of them!

    Just got two new games to play while we camp... should be lots of fun! I actually found a trival pursuit "totally 80's" edition! I also bought Battle of the Sexes. We have 3 couples going so this should be interesting :) I've also decided I am going to rent the sand boards they have for skating down the sand dunes! I'm so stinkin' excited! I've been camping a gazillion times already this summer but not for more than one night at the beach.... I LOVE the ocean!

    Sounds awesome Kasi. I really miss camping. Haven't been in a long time due to my bestie being pregnant etc etc.

    I am debating staying sober this weekend since I did not make that goal last weekend and went waaaay over board.

    I have been noticing the scale is actually moving the less I drink. :embarassed: So I should probably cool it for a bit if I want to look hot in my wedding dress.

    Ok, so Tuesday I had a glass of wine with lunch and a glass after dinner. took my sister and nieces to the airport at 4am this morning. I miss them already, but I am sleepy. No plans tonight, I could remain drink free, but I might have one to fall asleep, DH will be out doing comedy and now I have this open bottle of white wine...

    Monday=1/2 beer (Ruby Redbird)
    Tuesday=1/2 beer (Summer Shandy)

    What the heck is wrong with me?? :laugh: I had back to school night last night and I wanted a BIG glass of wine and a beer but I had ramen instead. I still am in panic mode at school, so until that dies down, I don't have enough time to really work out--so I'm trying to be good with the booze. :sad:

    I bow down to you for being able to stop at 1/2 a beer. My 1/2 would have been at the bottom, so I'd have no choice but to drink the whole thing. :laugh:

    Oh yeah, I forgot about this. Here I am, back to confess.

    Wednesday, 5 vodka sodas with lime (still only about 75 cals over my limit that day)

    Thursday, 2 vodka sodas with lime

    Friday, 1/2 a bud light lime

    Saturday, a grape vodka with soda and two sweet concoctions with lots of grenadine

    Sunday, nothing

    Monday, glass of red wine

    Tuesday, an AMAZING bottle of Samuel Adam's Harvest Pumpkin Ale. Seriously, go buy it now.



    Wow. I feel like a lush, even among other lushes. :blushing:

    Way to portion Yvonne! I wish we could learn to do that with our whiskey... just never seams to last:embarassed:

    My sister and I did decide though that this weekend we each will bring a half gallon of our favorite liquor and when we are out were out! We always end up making unexpected trips to the liquor store when we camp but this time the nearest liquor store is 20+ miles away so were not gonna do it! May end up up drinking a crap load of beer but no extra liqour!!!

    We are going camping this weekend too :) In lovely West Virginia. We will be tubing down the Shenandoah saturday with a cooler filled with beer...trouble I think so :drinker:
    I am happy that we are all responsible for our own food, SO I can atleast monitor what I'm eating.

    Tuesday- 5 oz pinot grigio
    Wednesday- 8 oz skinny girl margarita and 10 oz pinot grigio
    Thursday- zero drinks ?????

    This is a great thread. Every time I go out, it is impossible not to have 4-5 drinks and it totally ruins my diet for the day. I try to workout to balance it all out, but sometimes I don't even know it is going to happen until later in the day. I just got back to school, so there will be major drinking this whole weekend. Perhaps I won't weigh in next week...

    I know...half beers. :embarassed: I'm breaking the lush constitution. I've had a craving for one, but then about 1/2 way through, I start feeling guilty--oh, I haven't worked out, I ate like crap, so I put the bottle in the fridge and drink the other half the next day. So, I'm not wasting it!!

    Last night was a bit lushy...I had 1/2 a beer before dinner, a beer at dinner (at a friend's house--dinner club night) and then I had 2 shots of Tuaca with the hubs when I got home.

    Sunday=1/2
    Monday=1/2
    Tuesday=1/2
    Wednesday=3 1/2

    Tonight is back to school night again, so either I'll go home and crash or drink a lot!

    I made it through last night without drinking but I really really really wanted some wine. The Fiance was out playing Bball with the guys and I was watching a chick flick after the little one went to bed and wine sounded so good!! What is it about chick flicks that require wine? :laugh:


    So I made a compromise, I held off last night and will hold off tonight and have 2 glasses on Friday. :Drinker: Sounds fair to me!

    Ok well I've done well this week detoxing from the absolutely horrific amounts of alcohol consumed last weekend. I had a total of 2 glasses of wine since Sunday. I got on the scale and it hasn't moved upward, even after all that partying last weekend.
    Tonight I will drink.
    I'm finally back to the exercise routine. That hamstring pull was a real killer.

    And Yvonne, you look fantastic!! Love those guns.
    Happy almost weekend everyone. Mine starts tonite. :drinker:

    80's bar crawl last weekend, girlfriend get together tomorrow, send off cookout for Kyle's sister Saturday, beer & chili challenge Sunday and Vegas for a week next weekend. Phew! Busy but very fun month =] haven't worked out this week yet but went hard last week. Think I may kick my butt in gear and hop on my bike in a bit.

    HI! I am brand new on here and this group seems where I might fit in :). I love me some beer, gin, champagne, whiskey...anything with an alcohol content makes me a happy camper...but as much as I love happy hours and drinking in the park with friends, I know that it's the leading cause to the extra pounds in my middle. I am looking to cut back, but not out...because, well, that doesn't sound so fun to me right now :)

    Oh so bummed. I have put almost all the weight I lost since this time last year (34 pounds) back on. I haven't updated my ticker because then I am admitting defeat. I have to get back into this and get this weight back off and have it stay off. I know that I worked out too much (5-6 hours a day) last time and couldn't maintain that now that I am back at work. But now I am back to not working out at all. I need to get my *kitten* in gear. It's so hard when you work. I know all of you do and I am so impressed by how well you all do. Thanks for the opportunity to cry.:sad:
