I'm a little late starting, but I'm trying to get back on track. The first 6 months of 2015, I lost 45 lbs. I kept it off until Feb 2016, when I changed jobs. The new job overwhelmed me and has created a lot of stress. Without the regiment I had set up for myself and stress eating, 3 years later, I've gained 50 lbs. I have a plan in place and I'm hoping I can actually stick to it longer than 2 weeks.7

I am in a very similar position. The second half of 2017 I lost 47 pounds. Then I went back to school in January of 2018 to get a master's of mathematics. I stress ate 20 pounds back. Now, while finishing up the last 16 weeks of classes, I am working to re-lose those pounds and the final 5.
We just need to take a day at a time and reach out to others for support. This group is great for that!6 -
I'm also late starting and have failed many times to continually track food & drink consumption ... hoping by joining some communities I'll be more motivated to open up the app every day. I'm slowly gained over the last decade would love to get back into a certain size. The scale has not been my friend so I prefer to measure and / or use clothing to track weight loss and weight gain. Anyone else not using scales?

So I haven’t sent my meals the last three days. I go in tomorrow. I think their way is very much like body builders eat. I do ok for breakfast lunch dinner and snack but then it gets harder in the evening and I feel guilty . I’m supposed to do 35 min of cardio on my own and personal training with weights twice a week. Any suggestions?
Have a real conversation with this person. Is she a registered dietician or a trainer? You are in charge of your health. If the plan doesn't work say so. Feeling guilty and 'chastised' is not helpful. I would suggest decidig if the workout plan and the schedule work for you and if not provide input as to what does. If they don't value that then leave.
On the food side, put in your stats to MFP, set it to a reasonable deficit. From your photos .5-1 lb per week. Eat within the limit it gives you. Nothing more complicated. It doesn't have to be "clean", keto, low carb, plant based or anyting with a name. Just eat the calories given, you'll do great.1 -

It's not unusual to for it to take a while for weight loss to start for some individuals. Check this thread for some pointers.

How many calories are you eating each day? Are you logging your meals? I resisted doing that for awhile, but I found it was necessary to track calories to lose weight.
Also ask your trainer for some guidance on adjusting the meal plans to meet your needs.

Need to lose 30+ lbs depending on darn scale I'm on. I also need to make these changes a lifestyle habit. Been trying to stay Keto for almost a month and it's very difficult. Not seeing any progress. 😭4

I'm not quite 50, but I'll be there in May, so I'd like to join. I still have a way to go with the weightloss, but I'm determined to do it. It's easier knowing that everyone is in the same boat.😉
Add me as a friend if you would like to.6 -
Hello everyone. I am starting new as of yesterday. I am 50, and have 60 lbs to loose. I need to start living a healthier lifestyle, healthier food, and move more. I am trying to do no processed sugar and low carbs for a few weeks and see if I can tell a difference. I lost 38 lbs 4 years or so ago and gained back and more. I can't stand the way I look and feel, so I really need to stick to this and realize no one is in control of it but me, and make it happen. Have a great day everyone.10

Natalie, good luck. 👍🏻1

This looks like the group I need. I'm determined to lose 20 pounds. I've done it before but let the weight slowly return.
I have started logging my food again and have set veggie/fruit/water intake goals as well.
The work I do keeps me busy but not too busy to cheer others on and receive some cheering as well. 😊6 -
Hi I am Lorri from London and I am starting again today (3rd time). After a few health hiccups I want to be as healthy as I can and that means loosing a few pounds and eating better! I am definately in! Good luck everyone.4

Good Morning everyone - we have mild weather here today by me. I'm going for a run in the park at 11 - if I do 3 miles, easy, then I'm signing up for a 5k on Saturday.5

Hi Everyone! Make it a great day!5

Traveling from youngest son in SC to oldest son in Chattanooga TN. Stopped at a rest stop near TN state line and it has a walking track. Got my 20 minutes in!! Yea! I miss my recumbent bike though! Back home again tomorrow after spending the night with son and daughter-in-love.2

Happy Tuesday everyone! I’m feeling better and so thankful for a walk at the beach! ☀️ 🌊 💕

I had forgotten how helpful it is to meet fruit and veggie goals in keeping calories under control. By the time I fill up on those I don't have as much room for the sweets I love. 😊5

I was out walking in snow at below freezing temps yesterday. I do earn a badge on my Garmin. LOL. How was your run in the park?

My run was awesome thanks. Did my 3 miles. Upper 50's, sunshine, lots of other runners to wave/smile at. Really I can't wait for consistently mild weather to run more outdoors. ALSO - they open the flush toilets after freezing temps are gone - LOL !
We haven't had any real snow to talk about ... YET ... Hope I didn't jinx things.
Hooray - you earned a badge !

@NCBlessings how beautiful! That fed my soul this morning Morning happy people - Eat something pretty, move in a way that brings a smile, give yourself a high five!5

@NCBlessings that beach is gorgeous, you are very fortunate! thanks for sharing1

Not weight or diet related but I've had a bad day. I messed up at work - and it's a bad one. Feeling really down, and unusual for me I can't find anything positive. Couldn't even get an "it'll be all right hug" out of my husband.
