    Air fried drumsticks tossed in Vietnamese "merchandising water", a sauce of dark caramel mixed with fish sauce so named because street vendors use it to give a shiny glaze. Thai pomelo salad. Sticky rice.

    Nasi goreng with the trimmings including lalab of tomato, cucumber salad, pickled carrots, chicken satay bought from a street vendor and warmed up, omelet, two kinds of satay sauce (our own and the one with too much coconut from the street vendor).

    Nam Prik Ong is a great meal for getting lots of veg. Essentially a hot meaty Thai dip for raw veg. Rice is optional (made for the hubby) and I don't miss it if I don't have it.

    Beef and guiness stew pulled out of the freezer. Pickled spiralized carrots and parsnip I made a couple of weeks ago. Only salad and ranch mash were actually cooked tonight.
