It’s well past the end of June, but I’m finally together enough to tally my miles—more in the July thread when I can!

June goal: 60 miles

6/1 9 mi
6/2 cross (17.9 Bike Bingo bike miles w/kids)
6/3 5 mi and cross (8.5 mi bike commute)
6/4 3.1 mi tempo run (or pace run? Not sure what each of these means, now that I think about it!)
6/6 5 mi
6/8 10 mi
6/10 3.5 mi
6/12 3.1 mi
6/15 2 mi
6/16 8 mi
6/18 3.1 mi
6/19 5 mi
6/22 10 mi
6/26 5 mi
6/29 4 mi

June total: 75.8 mi (beat my goal by 15+ mi!)

Hello!!

I'm sorry I deserted you all the second half of June. Work got busy and while I kept up with my running for the most part, I didn't keep up here. Then I was lucky enough to contract a stomach virus that kept me from leaving the bathroom June 29 and 30. Anyway, I finished the month with 70.8 miles logged. I entered a small 5K in my local park on June 22 and I won my age group which was the first time I've done that in 2 years. My best friend also won her age group (she's a few years older than me which is great because we will never compete against each other). Anyway, I'm behind in my goal of 1,020 miles for the year- I should have hit 510 by June 30 and I'm at 445. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great June and happy Mid-Year!
