Also, I meant to comment on your turtle ice cream treat. I LOVE turtles so much, when I was a child, a package of turtles was 15 cents (note this is the era of penny candy and back then 15 cents was SUPER EXPENSIVE for a kid's candy) and you only got two in a package and my friends thought I was so ridiculous and "snobby" to spend ALL of that money (15 whole cents) on two wee little pieces of candy. Turtles have always been one of my favorite all time candies and to read about the ice cream treat you had, made me mentally "drool".
I love this story. Thanks for bringing me back to those sweet, childhood moments.1 -

My absolute pleasure and thank you ladies also, so very much for posting your meals--I LOVE it and it gives me so many new ideas on what to chow down on in the future!
Also, I forgot to mention to seltzermint555
about the FREE ice cream sundae she got for free from someone who had a bad experience with a previous customer...maybe that may have been why this darling insisted she give me a FREE cone too, whatever the reason--wasn't it such a MARVELOUS surprise to be given a goodie for free?!? Wow, I'm still thinking about that!!!!2 -

Breakfast: Two over easy eggs. A slice of toast with garlic hummus, cherry tomato slices, and everything bagel seasoning. Coconut-flavored coffee with a splash of cashew milk and Splenda.
Lunch: I was really feeling the garlic hummus today, so I did a toasted sandwich with the garlic hummus, tomatoes, cucumber, and everything bagel seasoning. My God, it was so good. I also had a couple forkfuls of the tuna I made the other day (tuna, light mayo, celery, and red onion) and a serving of cottage cheese with blueberries.

Dessert: I finally got my ice cream today! My friend and I had some of the good, homemade ice cream from a local place that does offbeat flavors. I had something called 'Merica, which was a vanilla buttercream type flavor with Twinkie cake pieces and red, white, and blue sprinkles, on top of their creamy lemon (not a tart sorbet, but more like a lemon cake flavor. It paired really nicely with 'Merica).4 -
