Almost. I'm down a half pound from yesterday, and up almost two pounds up from last month by scale. My ten-day average is unchanged. Like yesterday, I am heavier on both counts compared to two and three months ago, and not surprisingly still lower than a year ago.

Good to see you back @MadisonMolly2017. I was getting a little self-conscious of being the only one posting here. Maybe I should switch to a weekly post and use an average or trending weight only rather than scale weight since that really matters more, and I should essentially be bouncing around the same weight over the long term. I do think the one-year look back has helped my perspective the last few weeks. I expect my weight to be UP tomorrow because... oh that was a really good lunch1

So my weight is stable, but I'm meant to be losing. I'm on holiday, and the desire to lose weight is rather low because I haven't seen my girlfriend in over a year and it's nice to not care about weight loss while she's with me. I'll restart weight loss when I arrive home on January 1st, I'll be maintaining until then (and posting).2 -

I am in maintenance with a goal weight of 143 pounds and an allowable goal range of 140-150 pounds. I've was gaining slowly from October 1 until mid-November, then was pretty flat again but maintaining a little above goal, then another slow increase, and I am hoping I'm getting that back under control.

I neglected to post yesterday, so this is a very interesting two day look-back. I think from here out I'm just going to update once per week and report my ten-day average weight, and I'm not sure how far back I'll look. One thing I find really interesting is how much fluctuation I had over one day over so many months. Even the ten-day average weight made some big jumps. Very odd, but day-to-day fluctuations are real. They aren't masked by weight loss when you're in maintenance. This is, perhaps, a good exercise to help me see I'm doing ok even when it doesn't feel like it.
For yesterday, my scale weight and average weight were both up quite a bit from a month ago. For today, I'm up a tiny bit from a month ago by scale, and up a similar amount as yesterday by average weight. Looking back two months, I'm definitely up by average weight or both yesterday and today, but for today, my scale weight is down a considerable amount. How odd. Three-month look back - No doubt about it; I am UP UP UP. Looking back a year? Scale weight yesterday was down almost eight pounds, and average weight was down six. For today - similar results; scale is down eight pounds and average is down six.

I am in maintenance with a goal weight of 143 pounds and an allowable goal range of 140-150 pounds. I've was gaining slowly from October 1 until mid-November. My average weight peaked November 13, and it's been bouncing around since then; pretty flat but a little above goal.
I am going to update once per week and report my ten-day average weight.
December 28, 2018: Ten-day average 151.4
September 28: Ten-day average 141.8
October 28: Ten-day average 143.3
November 28: Ten-day average 143.9
December 28: Ten-day average 145.0
Even though my weight has been pretty flat, my average weights were lower this time last month as well as two and three months ago. I'm still lower than a year ago by a fair bit.

With the decreased daylight length, is it possible you just aren't getting in as much routine movement? That could be a thing. Some of my bouncing around has been from WHAT I have been eating perhaps as much as how much. I splurged on a special plate the other day, but I didn't realize how damn salty that ham would be. Packed on some bloat, and it's kind of come back off. Sometimes it's also how much. Yesterday was an example, but I let it happen and don't feel I have to beat myself up about it.
I am also giving myself some slack because that closer look at my average weight and one of my weighted moving average weights DID peak two weeks before Thanksgiving. The TrendWeight website seems to use a slightly different scale factor, and it suggests I'm actually up 0.2 pounds since November 13, but I think that is an insignificant amount not worth mentioning. So in the Season of Too Much Food (and comfort food no less), I'm still maintaining.
It can't hurt to tighten back down if you feel you need to. Just be kind to yourself, and observe how your body responds.

In the past 6 months, my avg monthly wts have been in the range 155.5 (Nov) and 157.9 (Dec) 2.4lb range
If I go from May to now (since I declared maintenance April 25):
My range over 8 months (monthly avg wts) was
154.3 - 157.9. 3.6 lb range
Iβll be okay.
Both of these are HUGE wins for me.
I will get my wt back down - itβs not that much of an increase

@MadisonMolly2017 I find this much simpler format so much easier to understand, and I'm tickled now that I see how well you've been doing since January 2016. You'll get back to your goal; it's that time of year.
I'm pleased to report my SCALE weight has been less than one month ago three of the last four days. That's not as big of a thing since I've been UP since October. My ten-day average is still over what it was a month ago, but not b much. I hope that my Saturday update will show progress.1 -

Hereβs how I look At it
My true goal is to keep the 71-73 lbs off,(155 -157) lbs) for the rest of my life.
my immediate goal is to lose ~ 3-5lbs. And that becomes a critical goal because keeping the few pounds off IS how I will keep the 73-75.
Everyday, Iβve kept an average of 73lbs off.
Thatβs a miracle.
So yup Iβm committed to getting solidly back to 157.
What is your plan to get to a number you will be more pleased with.

My average weight three months ago was in a short period that it was at my lowest EVER. I may or may not get back there as it was actually below my goal range, but it felt good to be so successful. I look forward to reporting next week that I am below all three of these measures. Feels good to be back!

Thanks @MadisonMolly2017. And as you are well aware, we both will have to CONTINUE to work hard to maintain where we've come. My fourth quarter 2019 is evidence of this. I am looking forward to see what 2020 brings. I am optimistic I can make those fluctuations a little smaller, and I am REALLY hoping I can avoid the fourth quarter gain that I've experienced in 2018 and 2019. If I do have a gain, I am hoping it's smaller than 2019 which was smaller than 2018.
Maybe some day in a few years I will be able to say, "I think I've got this licked." Of course once I lick it, I will think it tastes awesome and then eat it.π0
