@PatriciaNeves2015 that is great that you are getting a stationary bike. That will help a lot. I love wine! When I drink wine, I also eat more 😞 Logging my food is the key for me! 😊

Hey folks! Here's my Monday update

    SW: 243
    May 18: 228.8
    May 25: 225.3
    June 1: 222.2

So down 6.6lbs, and 8.4 to go!
I've been vegan for 5 months, but have just been over eating and mostly junk food. You better believe I could crush a box of oreos dipped in peanut butter myself in a day! I've moved towards a whole foods plant based diet, and increased my water intake and it's been going great!

Anyone here can feel free to add me!

    Morning all,

Yesterday was to much takeaway, but managed to stick within my calories.
Today is focused on proper nutrition, still need to verify we have some veggies at home for dinner, but my day is logged :)

My new shake should be here today. I hope it helps me cut back on the cravings- will give it a review.
Getting my water in, and planning another treadmill workout this evening after I finish my side hustle work.
    Have a great day!

I'm excited to see the numbers lower! I definitely think between TOM ending and the water reduction from salt in some of my meals at the last weigh in helped those numbers 😁. Over the weekend I took a road trip and enjoyed myself. I logged some of the things I ate but not everything so this week I expect to see a gain or maintenance. I'm back on it tho! The numbers on the scale motivated me!

Hi Everyone, I lost another pound that week so that’s a win!

    SW: 135 (maybe 5/7)
    CW: 131
    GW: 120

Last week I tried to take advantage of some much cooler weather and walk my dogs a lot more. I’m not missing all of the extra food I used to eat, but I’m starting to feel burnt out from exercising. I’m not sure if I should cut back on it or if that’ll make me lose all my motivation to work out at all. Getting in shape has proved to be 100% more work than I thought. Last week I decided I’m going to start tracking my measurents every 2-3 weeks in hopes that I’m gaining a good amount of muscle and I can reference something other than the scale. To keep myself accountable on 5/26 my measurements were:
    Chest 34.5”
    Waist 30”
    Hips 37”
    Thigh 22”
    Arms 11”

    Morning all,
slept pretty roughly last night- had a few nightmares which is unusual.
I am still up from my gain, but also its a bit from not getting enough rest.
Still focusing on water and hitting target calories. I carved some time this evening into my schedule for a workout in addition to my normal dog walking to help jog the scale. Should also finally be done painting if all goes to plan.
That is till we can buy baseboards lol, at which point it'll be back to the start.

Hope everyone has a good hump day!

    @PatriciaNeves2015 awesome loss!
@grace173 - your numbers inspire me to get back on the horse and properly, awesome loss!
@Ayesha0624 - awesome loss, silly TOM hey? those numbers are super motivating!
@birdy1539 - measurements are honestly a great idea. I need to pick up a tape measure this week. Also- awesome loss
@brittgreenlikethecolor88 - maintaining is still awesome- I hope to eventually find that sweet spot for when I need it. You got this.

    Hi everyone
I’m trending down .6 pound haha I’ll take it. Total lost is 4 pounds. I might hit 132 by the end of June (135.4 today)

Then if the gym reopens in July I’ll go back to my normal lifting programme and start a bulk.

Good to read all the posts, this challenge is really active.

    Update:

This week has been a bit of a mess, I have been in a work conference and the food has been supplied everyday. My org isnt very well to do, so them supplying the food isn't normal and I was told we aren't allowed to bring outside food (aka my own meal prep).
I've been trying to eat at maintenance cals this week, but the choices have been really limited :/ and they have supplied all three meals every day this week. Oh well, it is over now today so back on track. Just going to focus on my water and reg calorie goal and hope for no gain!

Happy Friday :) I will be back on Monday.

Hello, group! Today has been frustrating with a lot of interruptios, and . . . ,
I've maintained the same weight for three days which tells me my calorie consumption is one of weight maintenance but not weight loss! I need to bite the bullet but not the chips! I'm a bit annoyed with myself now.

The good thing I'm doing, though, is continuing to walk 1.5 miles a day and using the stationary bike! Also doing light strength exercises with the pulleys. Let's face it, I'm not in shape! I used to go to the gym three times a week until March as I know many of you did also.

I think I'm going to look for a structured high protein diet to follow. Is anyone following one they like?

    Thanks. Have a good weekend!

I was better this week but not perfect. Hoping that 1.9 loss this week is a true loss. It gives me motivation to be better this week. My goal this week is to log everything and drink 80oz each day.

My other goal is to check in here everyday and report the good and bad to keep me honest!

@jewelelainecasey - what are you doing for IF. I have been loosely trying 16:8

@MeganD1704 - sounds like you did your best and have a good plan to make up for it.

    @pins1982 - welcome 😊

@PatriciaNeves2015 - don’t beat yourself up, a few tweaks and you’ll be losing again. Weight loss is not linear just keep following the plan and you will lose.
