What worked for you today?

My bike. Literally. My partner replaced one inner tube, I cleaned it (her; her name is Lizzie) of cobwebs and dust, and now she is working again.
Went on a small, 45 minute bike ride to test that nothing will suddenly break.8 -
Preparing my vegan stuffed peppers in my air fryer worked like a charm. Low calorie yet very satisfying.6

Do you have a recipe, and are they adaptable for having only an oven?0 -
Packing my lunch last night as I'm in the office today. Also will be taking a walk post lunch/meeting so I can ensure I still get my steps in4

prepacking my salads (2 days at a time) for lunch keeps me on track, so I don't get to noontime and think oh, crap, what am I going to eat? also, I made a chocolate protein drink chia pudding to try tonight as a treat since all my days this week have been well below my target.

I put the meat with a bunch of veggies and no cheese, and enjoy. Another thing is the Built series of protein bars, preworkout gels and vitamin drinks - very tasty, very low sugar. And finally, I started sitting on an exercise ball. I don't feel so sluggish at the end of my workday.
can you share what brand and where you found the high fiber low carb tortilla? i am having a tough time finding them! they sound delicious1 -

This is what I love about working from home, can simmer a soup all day. Or I make a big saute of various veg, cabbage, greens, add in some turkey sausage or egg, and I can have a big, warm, filling, low calorie, bowl of nourishment for lunch.

I am trying to remember that I don't have to WANT to work out; I just have to do it. And 90-95% of the time, just getting out the door works. It worked today. Like someone else just said, it was hard, but I did it anyway.8

I started working out because I enjoyed it and it thankfully increased my metabolism a lot, allowing me to eat what I want within reason and lose weight.4

Logging what I ate, even though I overindulged. I had a willpower problem with some Trader Joe's chocolate-covered blueberries and was ready to just throw in the towel for the whole day since I already "messed up." Once I logged I realized I was only 250 calories over. Seeing that was enough to make me realize that it won't really affect my progress in the long run.15

I didn't feel like going out for a walk, so I booted up Just Dance and used that for my cardio instead.6

Just Dance as in on the Wii? I boot up Walk In Out on my Wii ALLLLLLL the TIIIIMMMMMEEEE2 -
reminding myself how damaging this extra food is to me. Also I did keto last week and now know that is too hard for me, went back to what I know works, low carb 100 gr. Feels good to know what I can live with and keep the weight off.6

This has been so important to me - though I still resist when I overindulge or eat something unexpectedly. Thank you for putting it in words, because I had not yet. This is an important guiding light that should be highlighted everywhere on MFP.

Knowing that I'm getting Panera for lunch is keeping me going today! 1.5 more days until the weekend4

preplanning and packing my breakfast and lunch. I start work early, too early to eat, so I have tea with a collagen powder then eat around 8ish. I find if I pack my breakfast and lunch every day, and plan for an afternoon snack with protein, I am not tempted to snack on junk when I get home. Oh, and not buying junk for the house!!!4

Haha, nice!! I have it on the Switch, but I've definitely put some hours in on the Wii version lol1 -
Preportioning and planning. I got home from the store hungry, tired, and footsore. I had pulled pork thawed in the fridge, and it took no time to nuke a small amount, add barbecue sauce, and slap it on a bun and eat it. And there wasn't anything in the store that I wanted more than that pulled pork sandwich, so it kept me on track.
I've been craving sandwich cookies, and discovered that I can have 4 Oreo Thins for 180 calories. Not something to have constantly, but a lot of my evening snacks are right around 180-200, so that's okay. And when I opened the package I had a bag of plastic snack bags handy, and I counted out four cookies into each bag and sealed them up and put it all in a bigger bag in the pantry where it's out of sight.
I know that separate portions like that really work well for me; I've done it with chips all along. Not that I can't open a second bag, I could; somehow, the act of needing to open a separate bag is enough to make me reconsider the extra.
I'm also putting a stray tablespoon measure into the granola jar. I have no excuse not to measure the granola I add to my yogurt for texture.

There was the original Wii (which I still use); then Wii U (basically Wii 2.0 and backwardly compatible) and now Switch (basically Wii 3.0 but not backwardly compatible) .... so yeah, I would say you were (sorta) on the Wii!0
