Whats something you are drawn to that someone else might feel is strange. For instance we seem to all agree humor is sexy...but clearly not everyone finds feet hot.

I prefer more casual dates but the occasional fancy dress up dinner date is nice. One of my fav was paddock bashing on a property and took a picnic lunch.. it was really fun and a great day.

I do like a man who knows how to dress well with clothes that fit. I remember walking around Rome with my brother who owns a bespoke tailors and I was gasping at the sartorial splendor of the men, especially the OLDER men, 50+. Wow they really had it together, my bro agreed. No harm in looking good and giving women something to appreciate.

I am talking about Sprezzatura, the Italian word for looking cool and elegant but in nonchalant, relaxed way - naturally well put together, definitely masculine, not overdone https://youtu.be/_QG4lTMjWtY

Facetimed with dd last night and she was drinking Tequila Sunrises. I wanted......

    Maybe a drink tonight.

Dressed up/fancy to eat out? Not my thing. I feel like I have to be a certain way and act appropriately, like I get all blushed if I slop food in my lap and have to do the club soda thing and all that. Nah, I'd rather be able drop food in my lap without everybody watching me like I'm the one freak in the establishment. Then there's the burping afterwards.
Actually I prefer take-out, bringing a pizza home, fighting dh over the last piece, sitting there with sauce on my teeth, and cursing him as we play games together.

I just don't like being in public. :/

A girl should wear whatevertf she feels confident in. Don't let someone else's opinion stop you from wearing a bikini when it makes you feel like a million bucks to put one on.

Trick question? 🤔 I've seen many a "monokini" that leave less to the imagination than bikinis.

Anybody should wear what they like.

I suggest going for comfort and personal taste. That's what everyone else will be doing.

You might be mad at yourself when you see hundreds of people wearing what you wanted to wear if you decide against it in order to please them.

I feel more comfortable in a bikini that compliments my body, than a one piece, but that's me. My stretch marks and cellulite will be visible, my small boobs will be out, my white af, pasty skin will be prominently displayed. Those that can't handle it are invited to avert their eyes.

I realize that I am smaller than average and a lot of people might think that's really easy for me to feel, considering. Even so, it's taken me a lot to get to the point of accepting that I can't change anything except the bust size (with major surgery) and being closer to what I was raised thinking of as ideal is not attainable. I also realized that I always recognize beauty in others that don't fit in the teeny, tiny range of ideal, I need to work harder at seeing that in myself.

    Amen.

That said, I haven't felt confident in a bikini since I was 15 (and even then I think I only wore it to annoy my parents) so my million bucks bathing suit would most likely be a tankini top and some sort of athletic shorts.

I also appreciate all body types. I've seen all types of figures in bikinis and thought they looked good. Wish I also could feel that way about myself

Depends what your standard of a “good body” is. I think many peoples view of a good body has been skewed by unrealistic beauty standards via social media and sometimes even television. I believe if you wear a suit and YOU feel good in it, then you should wear it with confidence. I’m a mother and I’m surely not perfect; stretch marks, cellulite, all the things that come with growing a beautiful little soul. I try to view it as a beautiful thing and embrace the body I’ve been given that I work hard to keep healthy, whether perfect in the eyes of others or not. Women are often far too hard on themselves, especially mother’s. I say put on the two piece, look in the mirror with a clear and healthy mindset, and if you like it and feel good wear it. If you don’t find something that makes you feel joyful and wear it instead!

On the subject of 2 piece bathing suits; definitely wear what YOU like and feel comfortable in, and to heck with others. You're not there to end up in Cosmo. :)

Now for myself, I went for 50 years without wearing a bathing of any kind at all. :( Definitely have some self esteem issues leftover from childhood. But when I went to Florida in August one year, I had no choice. Then going to the Blue Lagoon I again had no choice. But for those 2 times I felt better about where my body was at.

It makes me sad to think of all the fun I missed out on by worrying about what others think. Don't be that person.

I will not mention most of the things I am drawn to as they tend to get me a lot of judgment (and are not appropriate for MFP), however, there are some I can mention.
    • Deep (nearly philosophical) understanding of nerd culture. Not just one facet of it, but a jack-of-all trades in the realm of nerdiness.
    • A person who is more creator than consumer, as Twitch mentioned. Those who create I am drawn to because I also create and I find the process by which things are made to be absolutely fascinating.
    • Fellow bookworms. The more you read, the more drawn I am to you. However, I can appreciate you from afar as I recognize the faux pas of interrupting someone in the middle of a good book.

    Not for me, thanks.

1.) There's nothing I could wear that would make me "sexy", so that's a moot point.
2.) My partner hates dressing up in suits unless he has to (military, so always in a uniform anyway).
3.) Most fancy dinners (IE. dinners I've spent the most on), were not food or places worth the amount of money I put into them.

I'd rather go to an amusement park all day, lol.
