What irks you today?

I walked into work and my boss was here.
He usually doesn't come in until around 11:00 or so and I get some extra steps in by pacing the office while working on my tablet until he gets here.3 -
Whoa, what did I miss? Where did our original thread go while I was on vacation??0

Get outta yo head!!!
Listen, the moment I get out of my head is the day I conquer the world.
Remember the show Herman’s head -?? Came on Sunday’s on fox back in the early 90’s -
Nope but I watched a clip, I assume get out of your head is a catchphrase?1 -
Oh you know, just the usual aggravations of life.
Nothing in particular. 😶1 -

Try emailing them from your iphone to yourself and then opening and saving on your computer. I have a sister who has the same problem and it is a good work around for her.
I do the same.
Plus, Reenie, once you do it a few times, it becomes second nature. For me, writing down a short list of instructions helps me with computer/Smartphone tasks I don't do often. Especially with phones... I find the amount of steps to do something simple is odd & some setting changes are cleverly hidden, requiring 5-6 steps. Makes most of us not an expert in tech.
Tech drives me crazy. And my sister and I both have the same iphones. We swear our phones are haunted. They call people at 6 a.m. (oops) or go on airplane mode without our permission and we never can find our off or stop or out buttons. I know it's not us.
But step 1 completed, sent pics to my email, now will figure out how to save and post later. Then maybe I can share my current view the way it was 3 days ago.
Side note....they occasionally hold a workshop for learning how to use an iphone(not that I need it or anything)and that damn thing is always filled to capacity. Proof that tech is not easy.
You might be able to find some YTube tutorials for your exact model of phone.
BTW, you're not the only ones. There are many Reddit threads about haunted cells... fun, fun, fun.

No one notices as much as you, cuz you can feel it. Therapeutic grade essential oils help. Hope it's gone by tomorrow.2 -
My daughter is applying for a Pell Grant. My mom is helping her. There are questions she's asking me in reference to tax information.
I almost always avoid talking over the phone with anyone when my husband is in close proximity because he monitors everything I say and tries to micromanage the conversation by telling me what I can or cannot say.
It's hell. It hurts. I am married to a controlling idiot and I guess I deserve it.14 -
@lovelychar I'm sorry. I get it. But good luck to your daughter!! And take your cell phone, go find a lake, park by it, and talk on the phone to your heart's content.

None of my biz & feel free to ignore this post, but... do you deserve or desire this treatment?
I've had to escape in the middle of the night from 2 horrid relationships, so can empathize. It's easy to say, when removed... but, now that it's behind me, I wouldn't accept or allow such behavior again.
Whatever you decide, take care of yourself. You do seem lovely... ensure your partner treats you the same.
Be well...5 -
Once again, what irks me today is people.
🤣
Specifically today, people I love dearly. But who are making their stuff my responsibility. 😫3 -
Lack of leadership.
The oppressed protesting and waving my American flag because they want what the greatest country on this earth has to offer.
I support you. Most of us support you.7 -
The lack of adequate mental health services in Australia. Actually that irks me every day not just today...6

Go into a clothing store,
She asks me what’s my size,
I tell her my size
She tells me that’s not my size.
Turns out it is my size 😀3 -

Mine is currently 22... I can spare a few BMIs for ya. Stay warm.
For me... I irk myself today. I've been lazy with exercise... not sleeping well, so I'm tired & cranky. I need a long walk, but I'm afraid I'll lie down on the sidewalk 1/2-way through & get washed away with the rain.
Tomorrow... I dislike saying tomorrow, but I'm just too tired today.5 -

When you wake up 20 minutes early to meal prep your delicious lunch and you're running late bc your puppy thinks 6 a.m. is the perfect time to play hard and be destructive by bringing in pretty pretty flowers that you planted in the garden so you forget to grab your bag and now your left sitting in a parking lot with no lunch realizing you're going to have to eat that uncrushable for dinner12

When mistress is having a bad day, and I cant come help her because she left me handcuffed to the bed.

Mistress plays for keeps. There is no spare key or safe word.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

My cell phone belongs to my employer. Several years ago our new IT manager switched all the corporate phones over to iPhones but they missed out on me and my old Samsung. When I wanted an upgrade they said I had to take an iPhone but I whined so long and hard about being too old to learn a new system that they got me another Samsung.
My new boss said I was due for another upgrade but I said I wouldn't use an iPhone so he said the Samsung has to last me til I retire. Fortunately it works just fine but if the battery starts to die I might have to replace it myself to keep the poor thing alive.2 -
My irk of the week is a coworker who comes to my cubicle to ask me a question, then interrupts herself to make a comment about one of my emails, because she's reading my inbox as she stands there. Or the popup notifications if my inbox isn't up on the screen.
Office etiquette. It's a thing.3 -

Oh, just lacking energy this week irks me. I've accomplished absolutely nothing. I plan on sleeping this entire weekend. Monday... this nonsense needs to end.
Tiredness... be gone!
