Worst advice my mum gave me... Everyone deserves a 2nd chance... cuz it's most often like this...

With me it is, when you're out, you're OUT!

"excuse the mess" when company comes over, within earshot of your wife/significant other, no matter how clean they keep they house, is the ultimate power move in any relationship. use it accordingly.

    HA! Love it!

code word for SO = "the mess"

nevermind how clean the place is...gotcha!

(or did I just twist that into another 'bad advice' with the same phrase?)

    You are a true wordsmith @PAWGliacci !

Reminds me of when we visited some friends; this woman was always worried about how clean her home was. She comes out of her bathroom and apologizes about the poop on the rim of the toilet. I assume it was her dh who was there as well, but it was kinda an embarrassing moment for all. :)

if you ever find yourself taking a waitress/server out for dinner, then you should surprise her by taking her out to the same place she works at.

all her friends are there and she'll be more comfortable in general. plus she'll appreciate you for doing something different than every guy she knew before.
plus you can "oops sorry babe i forgot my wallet can we just use your discount or something cmon they know you here its not a problem right" your way into a second date if you're lucky B)

Don't let a man pay for anything on a date.

30-yrs later... oh, < Insert huge eyeroll > F'n forget it...

My mum is filled with nothing but horrid advice on every subject. Don't know how her 7 kids survived, but that sibling map looks like a bleedin' bloody battlefield.

text her first. text her often.
    she'll forget about you otherwise.

ask her if everything is okay if youre not sure.

This is actual good advice. I feel like you’re really mixed up today.

Summer, squelchingly hot, humid Boston evening, Faneuil Hall.

Friend #1: It's too hot to eat. Let's get giant banana splits for dinner.

    Friend #2: It's still too hot, I don't have a/c at home... let's go for a beer.

2-3 beers later, 4 friends, the aftermath...
