Pip – Congratulations on your fundraising success! Thank you for all that you do to support MS research. You are wonderful! The rag rug is charming! The video is well done. :flowerforyou:
Machka -- Happy Birthday to your DH!
Terri Richards -- The rag rug is charming! I really appreciated the video showing how to make one. :flowerforyou:
Carol in GA -- I am sorry that your second eye surgery was unpleasant. I hope it has solved the problem.
We are having a quiet morning. It is overcast and chilly. Staying inside and cozy seems like a good idea.

Rained on and off all day. Sometimes heavily. Glad the gutter man didn't start!
Made heavenly Cauliflower Cheese for dinner. Lovely old-fashioned dish. Not slimming, but I managed 950 calories exercise, so I'm well in the black.
I've still got to rifle through some old photos to find the one I have in mind for my next Instagram post. The box is huge and far too heavy to carry downstairs, so I've got to put aside some time to search. Feeling guilty that I didn't get round to it. Tomorrow is another day.

Oh sweet Mother of Mercy
This is just to much....I am beat.. my SIL has been hounding my brother to get up to the lake so he took off for up there it is only an hour and a half from here..but gosh Taliah is just to much she wanted Youtube premium to listen to her music which of course you need a credit card for.. and internet for ,so grandma takes her to McDonald's gets her lunch after taking 3 hrs to try and get her out of bed and have her dad call her to do so.. and then she cant remember her password for youtube so then she is all sorts of pissy and doesnt say a word. And we get back and she goes right back up to her room.. ugh.. if I had ever treated my parents or grandparents like that I would have had my butt whooped.9 -
I have been busy organizing my family photos to put in my suitcase. I have an album for my mom and one for dad, plus a small childhood album. I need to locate the Christmas album I made, when I got the crazy idea to fuse both Lee and my childhood holiday photos together in one book. In date order! Lee thought I had lost my marbles because I messed up our photo albums to make that. But something I put out during the holidays, the Gossett Holiday Tome.
I am down 2 more lbs, and sometime this weekend, need to find my measuring tape to measure myself, so I have some sort of starting point. The tape measure will be my friend monthly, more than the pissy scale.
Hugs ladies!

Got much needed rain here last night... slept right through it!

Allie time to make this trip about you. Nothing you do will please Taliah. (Needs a grow up pill) Do what pleases you on this trip. She is a big girl and not getting her way will be good for her. She will survive. Now to help you survive you might appreciate the following joke...
Someone recently shared a joke with me that I will have to paraphase.
I was out shopping and saw a grandfather with his grandson. The grandson was whining, begging, and throwing a tantrum for treats. The Grandfather calmly said William we are leaving in ten minutes. The grandson began throwing the treats in the cart and cried as the grandfather calmly took them out and said William are leaving in five minutes. I went up to the grandfather and said you are doing such a great job with your grandson William. He replied my name is William the little **** name is Kevin. The full version I shared on Facebook you might have seen it there...6 -
Having the rest of my rice and sausage concoction, then eggs and toast. Snack will be grapefruit juice, slice of cheese, and 1/2 a Safeway chocolate chunk cookie and black coffee! Its crazy to think I added 3 tsps of sugar to each mug, having 4 mugs a day. That's 12 tsps I am not eating! Looked up cookie and the blasted thing is 330 calories! So will split it with husband.🙃😁

Yes Margaret that was a hoot.. I know right..
She can sulk up in her room the rest of the time she is here for all I care.. i could take her to the mall her mom and dad gave me 100 to spend but why should I if she is being a pill.6 -
Allie — You are doing a good job handling your granddaughter’s behavior. Rewarding bad behavior leads to more bad behavior. You are a wise grandma. 😘3

Allie - Hugs. I hope she learns some respect someday.
Rebecca - a few years ago I took all of my photos out of albums and sorted them by year in photo boxes. I like your idea too.
I really need to spend some time and money to get a lot of digital photos printed. You can’t snuggle up with a grandchild and a computer screen easily.
I dug the measuring tape out this past week and am going to start doing that again too. The scale can be discouraging when the tape is encouraging.
Margaret - I saw that Grandfather story too, it made me laugh.
I am going to my youngest daughter’s today. When the lockdown first happened I gave her my paints and she did some virtual paint nights with her friends. I have a couple of projects I want to do and I need it back. I should be going into work but I’m tired of donating my time so have decided not to.

Karen in VA: Thank you for the tribute gift to hospice. 😘🤗 That was so very kind of you. I have put quartz counters in the master bath. Worked with Home Depot. Love it!
Allie: I'm getting worried. Don't make me fly east to take care of you! Please put your health and recovery over the stress of being with your demanding family members. Can't believe how each one seems to c**p all over you when you are trying to be kind. Not right.
To all you ladies directing prayers and good thoughts for my grieving heart, thank you. 💛💜🧡 I honestly feel the energy. Today I got back into the gym and pool and started to piece together my new normal. There is a lot of cleaning up and cleaning out to do, but will take it a little at a time. I recently made friends with a neighbor who does freelance housework, and she is available to help me with any heavy lifting like moving mattresses.
Once again, I will be sending t-shirts to a nice lady I found on Etsy who fashions the into a memorial quilt. I'm grateful for the Olympics to keep my mind occupied, and this crazy cat who gets me outside walking.
Stay well, friends. We can do this.

Rori - Sending strength and helping angels.
Allie - enjoy as much of the weekend as possible.
My Olympic events would be swimming, diving and dressage. I felt so bad for the lady in the pentathlon to go from 1st to 31st because her horse refused to jump. Crazy horse.
DD and I are organizing things for when Mom moves in. Only 2 weeks until I go to CA to help her pack and move.

Because of the garage sale stops, didn’t have time to go to gym or ride. Also working on picking up stuff off the floor in garage.
Went for our8 mi walk, Our walking pace was slower than usual. We Hit 3 garage sales and found 3 things that I was looking for. Got a nite stand, small lamp, small faux plant and a duvet cover with a print that I love all for 18 bucks. Score! Spraying the end table and basket an off white color.4 -
💐 it’s my bedtime. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

My son drove his truck at the local car show! The guy working on it, drove it to our home on a trailer, and son got to drive it in the show. Still A LOT to do on the truck! Guy has had it going on 4 years. Son will not be taking it to Guam, so heck no rush!

Did a DVD for the bosu then took my walk. It started to rain while I was walking but that might have been a blessing in disguise. It caused me to walk faster. The plan for tomorrow is to do an Essentrics Classical Stretch DVD
Made more chocolate bran muffins, got the chicken ready to marinate for Vince to grill tomorrow, now have turkey meatloaves in the oven. Afterwards, I’ll probably put some peaches in the oven to dehydrate. I found that you have to put the fruit in a single layer to dehydrate it. That I didn’t know.
M – happy birthday to your hubby. What is he planning to do?
Pip – congrats on reaching your goal. And thanks for kiz for making that happen. Now get out there and ride like nobody’s business!!!! I know you can do it
Allie – Unfortunately, Talia sounds like a typical teen. I do hope PJ doesn’t turn out this way, but I fear that he will.
Bananas – I know that people used to make blankets for the homeless out of plastic bags. Good reuse for them!
Carol GA – glad to hear that the surgery went well.
