Hi, I am in for another cycle. Thanks for starting this again.
STARTING WEIGHT/DATE WITH MFP: about 175 on 8/19/12 (been here a long time, lol, but kinda off & on)
Lost about 25 pounds, then pretty much maintaining, up a little, down a little, but would like to lose another 15 or so.
Ended last challenge at end of Aug. at 151.94# & didn't weigh for the month of Sept. I felt like daily weighing was getting to me, so tried not weighing for a month. Seemed to pretty much maintain, but now I am ready to get to a healthy weight.
Challenge starting weight: 152.07
I weigh every day & average them on Monday, so my numbers are the weekly average.
My goal for this cycle will be 5# (I amended this a bit, as I felt I was being too aggressive)

☯ I'm still chasing that elusive 100 pound weight loss goal of mine.
I'm at over 95 pounds lost since July of last year,
but I've been here for ~3 months now!
☯ I am currently completing two step goal challenges:
🚶♂️ challenge 1: complete 300,000 steps in the month of October.
As of right now, I'm at 219,675 steps (average 12k+ steps/day).
🚶♂️ challenge 2: complete 10,000 steps minimum, 30 days in a row.
I started October 1st, so I've completed 18 out of 30 days.
(#2 is harder, as it's 10k steps per day minimum, not average).
🚶♂️ On my October morning walks, I've walked 47.6 miles.
🏊♂️ During my October swimming: I've swam 28,625 yards.
☯💪🧘♂️ In addition, I've been doing some resistance training, yoga, and water aerobics.

Oct 01: …..187.0…..Not a very good start. I’ll work on turning it back around today. I want October to be fruitful!
Oct 04: …..187.2…..Some unexpected travel yesterday which took me away for about 4 hours late afternoon until evening. However, the shorter trip did not blow my dietary goals. I just lacked movement and as much water as I would normally drink. I hope today goes smoother. Hoping for a week that stays on point!
Oct 11: …..185.6…..(Trend Weight 188.1) My daughter moved back in with DGS age 3. My hands are full as I am babysitting him while she works. He is adorable and a joy, but demanding of EVERY MOMENT of my time. She brought $150.00 worth of Halloween candy with her she’d bought for a party she was having that she now had to cancel. She has a lot of trouble at home and it looks like she’ll be here for awhile. That candy was too tempting! I mean, Reeses and more! Today I’ll take it upstairs to get it out of site and out of mind. I hope it helps!
Oct 18: …..185.6…..(Trend Weight 187.0) Surgery this Friday and pre-ops today. This will be an interesting week of much travel and some healing stress on the body too. I am a breast cancer survivor and this is breast related surgery. I’m hoping for the best and for no returned cancer. I will be gone for 3 days. This may skew my next weigh-in. I’m happy to be maintaining at this point from last week.
Oct 25: …..187.0…..Surgery had a few minor complications, mainly due to my glucose numbers being so high, but they proceeded with caution and added some temporary insulin to my plan for that day. I’ll have to see an endrocronologist later. The madness with my sugars must stop! I’m healing okay and feeling hopeful as I await my pathology reports. Time to get back to the weight loss. That, of course, is a plus for my overall health.
