Hi! My name is Nicole and I'm 23. I'm new to My Fitness Pal (joined late November). I'm a college student at home, so my life is extremely sedentary, and it has been ever since I stopped going on the playgrounds as a kid since I was homeschooled even before the pandemic. Therefore, I will try hard this month to create a habit of exercising in some way everyday. Next month, I'll be more strict about the type of exercise. But for now, I want to just make it easy since I've failed at trying to make it a habit before.

Thanks for this! Been on a slow weightloss/sport journey for a few years now, reaching a happy-ish plateau for a while before covid home working hit again. Need bit of a kick to see if I can lose those few kgs back again and get a bit fitter...

Mfp worked for me five years ago so will do it again. Previously I lost 50 lbs here, maintained by logging for a few years after the loss but stopped logging and started gaining so I'm back at it again. These challenges really helped in the past! Good luck everyone!6 -

Hi everyone, thanks for joining,
I have put on 21lbs since October. Work has been hard, no meal planning- I struggle with this in our house we have takeaways alot recently because not wanting to cook 3 different meals for 5 people… can’t remember the last time I ate a piece of fruit. Chocolate and popcorn has been my go to.
Plus cracked my ribs 5 weeks ago.. not a good mix!?!
Anyways…
My motivation : I want to be in better shape for the summer -july, also my birthday month.
1lb a week is achievable without being too hard on myself, that’s 24 weeks 24 lb. I can do this!!!
