Was at -27.7 just before thanksgiving but gained 7 lbs over the holidays to end the year at -20.7 for 2021!
Jan 3: 266.5
Jan 7: 262.6. Think most of this loss is water from hormones and holiday salt/carbs. I also decided to take a hiatus from alcohol for a little while to cut out the unnecessary empty calories. Tomorrow is gameday, so it will be the first big challenge to the hiatus…

Well done to everyone who’s had success this week.
It’s been a wobbly start to the year for me with a later start and not enough planning. My mission today is to work out what I’m going to eat for the week and make some lunch and dinner options for the freezer.10 -

Completed my first half marathon of 2022. Feet and lower calf s started cramping at mile 10 so I walked the last 3 miles. Still finished first in my age group! I was hydrated well but my electrolytes were depleted. Lesson learned.
Better food tracking this week.too
Leaving tomorrow for a week of camping. Hopefully I can stick to my planned meals and avoid most of the campfire snacks. Also planning on a couple of runs and a lot of biking.

I am not sure I am doing this correctly, but hopefully I am posting my progress correctly.
It has been a good week. Maybe I will get lucky and blow past my 215 January goal. I turned 60 in 2021 and found that losing weight was even tougher. I have been working on losing weight since September and have managed to creep down 10 lbs. This week I lost 2.4 Yeah! pre pandemic I went from 255 to 199. The pandemic hit and I started gaining. I am hoping to get back on track.

This week has been an interesting one. I didn’t get as much exercise as I’d like at the beginning of the week…it was chilly and rainy here in FL, no excuse really. This week I plan to stay closer to my 1200 calorie goal each day and not give myself permission to use all of my exercise calories.
January 1: 190.2
January 8: 188.8
Loss of 1.4
Goal for January 31: 183
I have confidence that I can do this and more!

Good morning All, can someone please tell this newbie how to add onto the original post for each week to input the weight. Thanks for your assistance.2

@ladyg09 I use my pc for mfp. I just create a document and save it to my computer. I then add my current weight each week and post it in the "Leave a comment" box on the bottom of the last post in the challenge.2

Jan 01…..…..190.0…..(Trend Weight: 191.5)….. Happy New Year everyone. I’ve been slipping, sliding and teetering back and forth since October (just prior to needing cancer-scare breast surgery). I’m ready to stop eating all my emotions and grief and get back on track to the business of health and well-being. Recommitting today!
Jan 07…..…..192.6…..(Trend Weight: 191.9)….. It’s been ahellofa week with new flooring being put down in 85% of the main floor of my house. I’ve been trapped in a small section of my livingroom. No stove or fridge for 8 days. It’s finally (almost) done. Today should be the last major day. I’m hoping more movement and water will help. And better planned meals.
