Afternoon ladies
Ive sort of been in a funk
Im keeping up on the bills and all which makes me happy.. but except for going to my daughters and hauling Carmine back and forth to school ,and getting Homer outside..
I basically stay hold up in my condo watching TV and playing on my phone and watching videos.. .. i dont really go out and talk to people or see anyone. Except for Drs appointments..
I dont know geesh i just feel like my get up and go got up and went ,i wish i felt.like i did before..
Still thinking of you Pip ❤️ xoxo
Happy Birthday 🎂 Carla !!!4 -
We’re having a quiet day so far. There is a nutria at the edge of the river eating grass. We had a nutria years ago and are not happy to see one now. They look like enormous rats. Unlike rats, they seem to be herbivores. We haven’t seen a beaver in a long time. We have seen river otters and enjoy them.3

I'm sorry you're feeling that way, Allie. You must be an extrovert, because my introvert self thinks that you are quite active -- you get together with your friends very often, but it sounds like you really wish it could be every day. Try to hold on to those times when you do get to have social events with your friends. Those are special times.

I'm feeling much better but not quite 100% yet. On the other hand, even knowing that it's all water, it's still encouraging to step on the scales and see a pound down. I have about eight more to lose back to where I was when I stopped because my thyroid was tanked and not cooperating.

Allie ~ I agree with what Flea said and you must be an extrovert like our Michele! I can go a whole week without leaving the house and talking to anyone other than my husband. And, he is no conversationalist...

My sister has nutria at her place in Shedd, OR. She has a gun and shoots them, like a real life Anne Oakley!

Pip ... I know you take life head on with a matter-of-fact attitude. Not sure how you feel about prayer, but you know that I'm all about that ... so also know that I am praying specifically for you and this newest challenge. I'll be praying that whatever the mass turns out to be that it will be addressed completely and that you will heal quickly!

I don’t talk about my religious beliefs or politics but please know that I do also believe in prayer and that everything happens for a reason. I am ready for whatever happens and what needs to happen to make me better. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.11 -
Today I’ve been sitting most of the day and I hurt the least when I am just sitting. Right now I have the hiccups and if I was hurting, it would be hurting like a mother!9

Rebecca— We had a nutria here a number of years ago. A neighbor shot it. I haven’t seen him with his gun so far this year.
I am no fan of nutria. :noway: That said, I won’t shoot one.

Yes ladies i am an extrovert but not lately
I feel isolated.. im not crazy and wont do anything rash.. but i think will feel better when im with Miles during the mornings
Tracy still has me wearing a mask as she is worried about whopping cough and all sorts of other stuff. Im hoping i can sometime take the mask off ..
Pip- you know im prayin for you girlfriend and Alfie is sending you wet sloppy kisses..im so glad you have Kirby there with you
That is really the only thing i miss,is having a human companion to be here for me when needed.Sure I have friends and my kids but just not the same.. Oh well I got through 2 heart surgeries without anyone and I am truly blessed to have wonderful friends so ill shut my trap and stop complaining.when there are so many other horrible things going on.
Ya know I love you all though6 -
I had to google Nutria I had never heard of them, and some chef's say they are good to eat, maybe you should catch it and serve it LOL

Pip - Dogs are a blessing. I’m happy you have Yogi. ❤️1

Yogi is such a cutie... we had a black kab growing up named Nimba, after a nimbus cloud she was round and ftat and my parents weren't great with vetting our animals so no nuetering or spaying. And they let the dogs roam so you know what happens..
I got a shepard/ husky pup as a older teen and i told my mom to wake me up and i would get him ouutside. Well she didnt, and she let him out and he got hit by a car..
That's why im a bit of a fanatic with Alfie now and when Tom and I were together..we even had to take one of my parents pups to the vet it wwas full pf heartworm and had to be put down....
Ok enough about that3 -
Did Karen Voit Sleek essentials DVD. The plan for tomorrow is to do a Pilates for Runners DVD
After exercise walked to one food store to see if they have Vince’s crackers. They don’t. I honestly didn’t remember it being so far away. But on the bright side….I got over 9,000 steps in . Came home and changed into a sleeveless shirt. I can’t believe that I’m seeing people wearing long sleeves! I’d be dying. Then got dinner ready. Will go in the pool in a bit. Vince is caulking around the door right now just to be on the safe side. Put two loads of laundry in
Michele now in FL off to the pool after checking email
I think that at Zumba- there are ladies in long sleeve shirts and I am sweating in a tank top and light weight leggings- I end up plugging the fan that is in my corner of the room in. We have four in the big room/gym and I use mine every class, all year long.
Hoping we have them at the new place(our building is being renovated so for 8 months we have to use two other buildings-will see if I keep going there, not in the best area, one being right in "the crest" and the other just south of it. Won't be too bad with the time change so it is day light- not good in the dark.
Dh said he might start dropping me off/picking me up. Doesn't start until first of May so have time to figure it out.2 -
I’ve been sitting down the majority of the day and almost close to no pain. Unfortunately it’s when I start to move that it changes. I’m going to start sleeping in the spare bedroom, the bed is lower and it’s easier to get in and out of.9

Katla
Yes me neither. Since she's lived in Colorado, Kansas, and Montana she has become quite assertive, and when she tells me stories, my brain is thinking, "who are you and what have you done with my sister"! (just kidding) 😂

Pip ... praying for the pain to lessen tonight too.
Flea ... you are in my prayers as well ...
In fact, many of you enter my prayers late at night when I can't sleep and I recall all that have challenges. Your names come to mind and I pray. Hope you all don't mind that ... I care about the ladies who take time to post here.
Nutria ... they're like big rat/rodent things aren't they? Eww. Not on my menu!
Allie ... you most definitely are an extrovert. I am more like Carol! But I also understand that it would be difficult to not have someone to share life's ups and downs. You are remarkably strong in that department but that doesn't mean it is your first choice. Hugs to you.
Today marks one year since my son passed. Inconceivable. I have been blessed today by several friends who have not forgotten. There have been some tears too but not overwhelming. That was earlier in the week when I just fell apart all over again. Grief is nasty like that.
