Goal #1: Stop the "Gain Train's" momentum by learning about and tracking calories

Goal #2: Salvage what's left of my self-respect and drop 5 lbs monthly

    March 31: 180.8

    April 7: 179.4

Was up to 212 a few years ago and plan to shrink down to 140ish. Goooo Team!

Ok, 1 to 1.5 lbs a week. I think it an attainable goal. Not any easier at 54 yrs young. Gotta do what we gotta do. Pictures to follow B)

Okay, I’m going to try this again! Tried the January challenge but couldn’t get on track. I really want to focus on meal planning. Without that I end up relying on a lot of bread/pasta that does not keep me full for long and then I am snacking at night. I know that protein-rich meals keep me full for longer but I’m transitioning to a vegetarian diet, so it’s a learning curve for sure!

    Hey there folks.

Is it alright if I join in with this challenge? I know I'm a little late. Totally understand if I'm too late to join.

Same here to some extend. I also want to become vegetarian, but it I really find it easier to lose weight having meat and fish in my diet. A problem that still needs to be solved...

I go hard on chickpeas! Haha. Not really a hardship as I love them, but I need to find some other alternatives or new ways of using them. I eat a LOTTTT of curries.

They really keep me full for a long time though, and are very inexpensive. Double bonus.
