Good luck next week everyone. Your stories and progress continue to inspire me every day 🤩4 -
Okay, I’m going to try this again! Tried the January challenge but couldn’t get on track. I really want to focus on meal planning. Without that I end up relying on a lot of bread/pasta that does not keep me full for long and then I am snacking at night. I know that protein-rich meals keep me full for longer but I’m transitioning to a vegetarian diet, so it’s a learning curve for sure!

Hello everyone, just found your group and I think it is just what I need. My starting weight is 187 lbs (85 kg) at 5'10 (178 cm). I don't have an exact end weight goal, I am trying to lose 10-15 lbs while maintaining muscle mass and strength and then taking it from there. For this challenge my weekly goals are -0,5 to 1 lb/week. Wishing you all the best!

Hi to everyone and here's to our success!
I have a higher SW, but my MFP SW is 16st10.6lbs / 220.6lbs/ 100kg
I don't doubt that my body will be kind of stubbourn at the beginning, but then start losing weight slowly. I'm set for 0.5lbs per week. I don't have a target weight date in mind overall, slow and steady is fine by me as when my brain thinks it's being restricted, it craves what it thinks it can't have and I majorly go off track. It would be nice to have lost at least 7lbs (half a stone in UK speak) by the end of this challenge, but I can't exercise (Dr's orders) so it's all diet for me.
April 10: 16st 10.6lbs.

So far not too much success, couldn't expect anything though. Too much snacking too little exercise.
today I finally started with my C25K programme and it felt quite nice afterwards. Hope I will keep it up! Also foodwise I am rather pleased with myself the last 3 days. There has been a health problem recently in my family and that reminded me to actually try to reduce my own risk.
Hope everybody is doing well and in good spirits! Here it is still rather cold but sunny and gorgeous all over, it is amazing, how much difference that makes!

I go hard on chickpeas! Haha. Not really a hardship as I love them, but I need to find some other alternatives or new ways of using them. I eat a LOTTTT of curries.
They really keep me full for a long time though, and are very inexpensive. Double bonus.4 -
Hi all. So I had a few days off plan and went over the top. I'm now officially at my highest weight and I've had enough. So here I am again back at the start. I know the first 7lbs will come off quickly because its water weight, it always does. I'm gna try not be too harsh on myself. Just going to focus on IF, tracking everything and drinking lots of water. 😊8

I'm in. I'm Chris. I live in northern California.
72 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
