I'm due for my first follow up A1C test in June. My blood sugar levels look good with the finger prick (130 average) but I am hoping for a better confirmation with my retest.7 -

I reached this mini goal today (5 days late but that’s ok) 😊
Next mini goal is 8 and a half stone, which is 6.7lbs away. Aiming to get there by 28th May.
Excellent mindset! It's a journey!3 -

I'm about five pounds away from my mini-goal of 10% bodyweight loss, from 334 to 300 lbs. Also I bought smaller pants because mine are falling down all the time and I'm in the too-big-for-most-belts category. I'm looking forward to wearing them.8

Trying to lower my LDL, it’s 107, but due to my age, the Dr advised statin. I asked to get a little longer to try to get it down, so she gave me 6 months, lol.8

Just drink water. I find it hard to drink anything. I am never thirsty. I have black coffee in morning and cup of tea in late afternoon. I force my self to drink luckily water is my choice. I don't do sweet drinks8

My mini- goal is to fit into my small shorts by the end of this month. It will be great to wear them this summer!7

We've been spending 10-15 hours a week at our local dog parks--great for the pooch and great for us! It amounts to over 40 miles a week. We get extra calories to enjoy and feel better, as well. Yay!8

I'm not sure yet. I am just trying to keep my cholesterol intake down. I have started to remove the yoke from my eggs before cooking. We have chickens so I eat a lot of eggs. I also eat a lot of fruits and salads now. Cut out all cream and sugar from my coffee...drink it black now. I was horrible with my cream and sugar intake. I am aiming for a heart and kidney friendly diet....I'm also fighting some bad kidney numbers. It was a quick drop in numbers so my kidneys might bounce back. I won't know if anything is working until October 😕. All we can do is our very best and see what happens (I personally throw a whole lot of prayer in there too).11 -

Water is so very important. Not drinking enough water for a very long time is one of the reasons I believe my kidney numbers tanked. I have noticed a major uptick in my energy levels even since I started just drinking 64-80 ounces a day, 2-4 cups of black coffee and almondmilk. A good water bottle is vital in my opinion. I know how hard it is to get started on drinking water but it is so very important. I wish you the best on this goal.2 -

I have a 30 ounce lidded cup that I refill a couple of times a day. I love ice water, so I bring a quart size bag of ice to work every day.

I took myself off statins after cutting out the processed foods. Blood pressure and LDL dropped and the test results were BETTER than when I was on the heart meds. Go figure.9 -
Trying to get on track with my Lipid Panel results.11

SUMMER!!! Swimming almost daily with my kids8

to continue to run 70 km every week and indirectly burn calories. I've reached my weight goal.9

The yokes are where most of the nutrients are for eggs. Check out the video I posted and Dr Cywes, Dr Berry, Dr Baker on Youtube.

I know. Thank you. This isn't going to be a long term thing. Just trying to get my BMI, LDL, and glucose down. I do plan on eating yokes again eventually. I do not believe in demonizing egg yokes. I believe they are very healthy and not something to be cut out forever.5
