We are a long-term group who support each other through life and the scale. Please join us in June for an accountability month and to head into the summer! Most people utilize the thread for weigh-ins, you may weigh in daily or weekly; do what works for you. If your goals are to drink more water, gain muscle, reduce fat, increase strength or cardio, etc, feel free to join us and track those items as well.

Ok I'm in, although I'm on holiday for the first week in June.
Its also the first time I'm joining one of these boards - all these years with MFP and I never knew it had such a huge interactive community! NIce!

Hi! My name is Carole and I live in the Boston area
Height is 5' 3.5"; 64th birthday will be August 18, 2022
Long time MFP member; just started fresh TODAY (5/29)
I would like to keep a regular food journal and to walk for at least 30 minutes per day, 5X per week at a pace of at least 3.75 miles per hour. I hereby pledge to NO alcohol or "junk food"! I plan to regularly log my activity and to check in daily, if I can. My weigh-in days are Sunday; so I will count my first June weigh-in (WK00) today.
Sunday, 5/29/22: WT 164.0/lbs. lost: 0.0/TL lost: 0.0 (next weigh-in Sunday, June 5th)
I will check in every day and will post weight every Sunday.
MFP only gives us an hour to edit posts; so I will copy/paste previous entries and add the latest to a new post for each day (hopefully I won't miss any).

I'd like to join this as well! I'm a 26/F (5'8), I normally do a combination of weights, LISS cardio, and Volleyball. I've been starting to see progress in my muscle growth but I could use some focused energy on the nutrition aspect. I'm going on a trip to Disney towards the end of June so I thought I'd add steps part of my daily goal (10k+)
Overall goal for June is maybe to drop 4-6lbs.

My goals for this month include establishing a walking routine after my family and I (husband and three little boys) move into our new home in less than two weeks. Also, to stay on track despite the move and all of the moving parts (HA!) throughout packing and unpacking. We have been SUPER excited for this move as it was much needed, but I definitely need to make sure I do not go nuts with any happy or stress reducing emotional eating! I would love to hit about 280 lbs by June 30th!

06/01…...203.4…..(Trend Weight 203.6)….. I decided to cancel the heart doctor yesterday and go to a different medical group which is affiliated with a much better hospital. It will also coordinate my medical records much better since I have other doctors in the same system. I first chose the other because it is only about 2 hours away and the place that most folks around my area go. But I changed my mind for all the reasons above. The appointment is on June 14th I think so I won’t have to wait long. I think it will be worth the extra drive. My weight and trend weight is exactly the same as yesterday. I had a bit of a binge last night due to having too light of a dinner. It was not garbage food but was still too many calories and carbs. I’ll plan a better dinner today. I was painting all day yesterday with a very strong smelling paint in the 91 degree heat. No appetite until I was clean and in bed.

I am now at my original OGW of 128 and I raise it because it seemed impossible. We'll see. Would love to maintain. Easy to do right now with the limitations I have diet wise. It took me over an hour to eat a bowl of oatmeal this morning! Seems in order to get the calories I need, I'm going to have to be constantly eating.
You have been quite an inspiration. It's been great following you and seeing those numbers drop steadily every month. This has been a very beneficial group to follow. So many people with the same struggles and so much success. Keep up the great work!5 -
