Good afternoon!
Oncology visit went great. Mammogram was also clear. She said the bone bits on the CT are now identified as "sclerotic," which she said indicates healed/healing bone. Which is even better news.
One more round of Ibrance, then when I return from Belize, we are switching to Kisqali. Lots of great reports of even better outcomes. Ibrance hasn't failed, so if we don't like Kisqali, we can always return to Ibrance.
Thinking of you all and wishing you the best. So many things going on with all of you -- good and bad.

The halloumi curry hack was perfect. Halloumi is available in every little store around here, unlike paneer. I texted my son to tell him, and he said he's been using it for years, especially in tikka.
Definitely going on our rota.
Sending best wishes to you, Tracey. My elder son went through a similar thing. Horrible at the time, but now he's found his groove and is happier than ever.
Flea - Hooray for results!!!
Sending love and hugs to all who are going through it.

Tracey - I hope there's a resolution through legal help. Those scores are far too high, but hooray for a doctor who doesn't want to give you a pill. Hang in there, kiddo. Thanks for letting us know. Many, many hugs.2

Flea-excellent news!
TraceyI'm not sure how things work in Canada (I am pretty knowledgeable with US requirements). However, if your doctor thinks some of the papers/requests may be illegal, I would follow her advice and at least consult with an attorney. I don't know if Canada has Worker's Compensation like we do, but here if there is clearly established stress/harrassment it could be covered.
Rebecca-it looks like you and sister did tremendous work. Even though children only chose to view for 30 minutes, when sister clears out all of the stuff, if they later complain-she gave them a chance.
Barbara-guess I am just a glutton for punishment! Actually, I do still enjoy the problem solving. I am also needing to redo some succession planning. After my time here, I feel I should if I can-but not terribly long! Plus, building project probably won't be done until late in the year/early next year. I do want to see that finished.
Well, since I had so many meetings today I am going to check some emails. Two meetings tomorrow-one that should be enjoyable with my peers, then I come back to issue a discipline in afternoon. Will leave after that-food pantry tomorrow night!
Take care all,

She didn’t fill out the paperwork they want because she’s never seen anything like it and isn’t comfortable doing it. She didn’t even write the letter today because she wants time to think how to write it so they leave me alone. She also thinks I need to see a lawyer because of the veiled threats regarding my pay and benefits.
She is also worried about my health, she did an assessment for anxiety and depression.
The highest score in anxiety was 22 I scored 19
The highest score in depression was 26 I scored 24
She said it’s all situational and if I can get out of there it will all calm down again so she doesn’t want to put me on pills when we know the solution.
So I need to find a lawyer and wait for her to send me a letter. She isn’t comfortable with having to send documentation to the woman that has harassed and bullied me. This is why I need a lawyer to see what my rights are.

Look into Worker's Compensation. There are pros and cons with it but it might help you in your situation.
We have an organisation here called Worker's Assist which was very helpful in the early days of my husband's saga. They offer their advice for free and help you get started with Worker's Compensation and with some of the legal issues.
Check to see if you have a similar organisation there.
Maybe this ...

Barbara, you asked about shaking the sugar. I guess you could say I am. I don’t intentionally not eat it, but we don’t keep it in the house since Dave is watching carbs. My eating boundaries are log honestly, keep calories to 1800 or less. Protein to 100 g or more, and water to 96 oz or more. Movement; steps 7500 or more, frequency walls at least 8/10 250 step walks per hour.
Calories usually hit more like 1700, but I’ve been consistently hitting my protein goals. When I eat the protein I do not want the sugar. I have been enjoying Oikos Pro yogurt with zero sugar redi whip for a protein rich dessert several nights a week.
I am really, really, really trying to lose the diet mentality. This seems to be working for me, and I don’t feel deprived.7 -
Mammogram at 10 AM....results came to me a few minutes ago....all OK...our health services are great and speedy.9

Heather - I think your DDIL sounds like a wonderful woman and especially a Mom.
Machka - we have been thinking of going camping this summer. We haven’t been to Nordegg area for years maybe that is a good place to look into. I’m not interested in camping if the fires don’t settle though.
Carla - I hope the hearing isn’t delayed too long. It’s hard when there are things hanging over your head.
Lisa - we have those warnings too and they seem to miss us while other parts of the city are hit.
Will you get to see your daughter since she is back in Texas for a few weeks?
I hope the meds work for you.
Rebecca - it’s a shame that his kids wouldn’t make more time, but I think this shows your sister that she doesn’t need to worry so much now about them wanting things and she can make decisions on what to do with stuff.
Carol - I love you me hair. I’m feeling I want to do the same thing and get a bunch cut off. I also go to Great Clips, the cost is fine and there are good stylists there.
Flea - such great news!
Ginny - thank you. I’m calling a lawyer in the morning. I need to do something to get this resolved. My doctor said even being worried about finding a job right now is hard on me.
Machka - thank you! I haven’t thought of going the WCB route. I know at one time they wouldn’t accept stress leaves.
Barbie - yay for the clear mammogram! That was fast results.
I went to ceramics tonight. I’m having such a hard time shutting my brain off.
I was able to finish my Granddaughter’s Christmas gift though. This will have a turntable for the little train to go around and a music box that will play “You are my Sunshine”.

Tracey - Yes, I am very fortunate to have Jess for my DDIL. Here she is on Tuesday, in a heatwave, just popping in to the bookshop in town to see if her new book was on display. It was!!!! Not long after that picture, she collected Edie and they went in the sea. She arrived at our house still dripping!
You have been through a trauma, you know. Sounds like you have an excellent doctor.
Actually, both my sons went through a similar thing. That's how my younger one ended up in Hove!
We heard from DH'S elder daughter who lives in south-west France. She's had a nightmare with a dog rescue. Tried everything, but was nearly dragged into a ravine by the dog, so had to send it back. She is an experienced owner and consulted a behaviour expert. She tried her best for months.
Day out today. Not great planning, with the cruise so near, but it'll probably do me good. I hope the heat doesn't melt me.
Wrist improving a bit every day.
Love Heather UK xxxxxxxx

Heather: glad to know the wrist is improving. When do you leave on the cruise?.
Flea: Hooray! It all sounds good. Enjoy Belize.
Allie:🥰 going to the lake house. I know you love that place.
Carla: That's pretty scary for Anne
Tracey: Happy Anniversary🥳. Hooray for Rodger and flowers 💐 good that doc has given you more time off.
Have a great day!

Katie-I wish I could eat 1700 cal a day and lose weight! Of course, my tracking has not been pristine of late so I am maintaining or slowly losing on more than what tracker says.
Barbie-good news on mammogram! It is amazing how quickly we can get results. I find if result is something less than perfect (like my thyroid stuff) I can work through some of the inevitable emotion stuff so when I meet with doctor I can be more rational and have my questions ready.
Tracey-love the Candyland express. I know here it is tough to get work related stress through but I have seen it happen. On the flip side, I have found many employee want to lay all of their problems with stress at work but as they talk you discover that their personal lives are out of control (controlling/abusive spouse, children who are out of control, etc.) so when they come to work they can't handle anything. It's a delicate balance-but the rest of your life seems to be rather serene and then there is the boss.
Heather-glad stepdaughter was not seriously injured with the rescue dog. That sounds so scary. Unfortunately many of those animals are so abused by the time a home is found the damage is done.
Rori-congrats on Nuggets win. I hope you were there to see in person but none of the violence afterwards.
Shorter work day today and tomorrow and off Monday. Have appointments at two places Monday so looking forward to that.
Take care all,
