November Start Weight: 164.7 lbs (BMI 25.1)
November Goal Weight: a firm 163 lbs (eating at a 250 kcal deficit per day) - this would mean a BMI below 25, i.e. in the "healthy" range.
Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 lbs - most likely around 150lbs
November 1: 164.7 lbs (BMI 25.1)
November 8: 162.5 lbs (BMI 24.7)
November 18: 161.7 lbs (BMI 24.6)
my weight has been zigzagging between 161.6-163.5β¦but I think I can reach my Nov goal
to be consistently at or below 163 (no zigzags above). Nice reminder that weight loss is not linear, I have PMS and a cold and was eating mostly at maintenance since the 8th, but my weight is still stabilizing at the lower range. I am more focused now and will get back to cutting calories and eating more vegetables (didnβt have the energy).8 -

Thanks!! The day before official weigh in I saw 299.6 but it popped back up overnight. But I know I'm close and I did a little jig when I saw it. It's sooooo close...making me double down on my efforts to keep careful track of my calories. Have to make sure not to cut too many and stall again. But I feel that this week will be the week I become a twosie and stay there!!8 -

@ebonyroche I think you typed your weight wrong today. Just wanted to let you know in case you save your posts and copy/paste. This is a tough time of year for sure. I'm just trying to be diligent for as many days as I can and get through it. I'm trying mostly to drink water, make all my meals at home be according to plan and get in more exercise or movement. What is the toughest for me is meals out and special occasions. I'm a work in progress too.2 -
My name is Donna. I am 63 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5β 5β tall.
Start Weight (from Oct 31, 2023 ): 181.4
Goal Weight: 177.4 (4 pound loss)
End of Challenge Weight: xxxxx
Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (Iβll know it when I get there!)
Weight in blue makes me blue because itβs a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because itβs a loss. Weight in black means no change.
11/01-181.2-(Trend Weight: 184.5)-
11/05-184.6-(Trend Weight: 184.2)-
11/12-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I just returned from a trip that was 5 hours of driving each way (plus stops). I went to the comedy show of Lewis Black. It was very funny. The venue was stunningly beautiful. The hotel was nice and the food was good. I really enjoyed the time I was able to spend with my oldest daughter. Iβm glad to be home where I can get back to more movement and more food control. I feel the bloat but no worries, it will be gone in a matter of days.
11/20-180.8-(Trend Weight: 182.5)- I had a really good week last week until the multiple travel days which sort of derailed me. But I am still ahead of the game this week and back on track now that I am home. I actually touched 179 twice last week so Iβm hopeful. Now, to keep things going good until Turkey Day. Iβll splurge then, but I will try to limit it to just that day. My dinner will be on Saturday the 25th. Iβm not sure of our exact plans for the actual holiday on Thursday yet.

this made me laugh....sorry... But I think it's physically impossible to go from 287.6 to 495.4 lbs. in 2 weeks...lol I think you meant to type a 2 not a 4. But whatever.....we all fall off the wagon big time. I myself have regained many times over this past year and a half. I'm still here struggling and not giving up. So pull up your boot straps and start over. You can do it!! We're all on the same journey and sometimes we step off the path.2 -

November 22: 55.8 - November goal would be maintaining, but again, I seem unable to do it :-( Better losing than gaining, so amen, but now I'm really close to the edge of healthy (and sustainable) loss, so I will add in another weekly meal with big calories (I've already added one to the other three I was doing since from the beginning, but clearly it's not enough... trying with five and hoping it will not make me gain but only maintain - sincerely, I'm scared).

November 22: 161.4 lbs (BMI 24.5)
I've been consistently below 163 for more than a week now! I will continue on the lower 250kcal deficit, which is working well. I don't really want to lose at a higher rate, to give my body time to adjust and to create sustainable habits. So no new November goals, I will just stay the course and see where that gets me. My weight tends to plateau for a few days or weeks and then I drop a few pounds...Thanksgiving should not be a challenge for me, since I'm not going to any gatherings this year and don't celebrate myself (vegan immigrant who never really connected with the American Thanksgiving tradition).8 -
Weekly check-in
Iβm eating healthier and fewer calories and have completed a 100 mile challenge in 3 weeks - a whole week early! Iβm proud of me and just need to keep making good choices for my health & wellness! The weight will fall if Iβm consistent.

Yay! I have had a week of ups and downs. I have been really busy with work so have been eating infrequently but when I have eaten it's been foods that are quite calorific, e.g. lasagne. I also baked at the weekend and so had 2 brownies this week as well.
Weighing foods that are dense in calories (e.g. porridge oats, cheese) has helped, and not eating before noon has helped too. I have made an effort to eat vegetables every day with dinner.
I'm only 2.6 lbs away from my goal weight now, so gonna try my best to be consistent. I always think that a quick weight loss is easier to regain.
Good luck to everyone for our final week!8 -
