Just joining!!! My weight peaked in 2022 at 204 lbs. I’m 47 and 5’2”. I got serious November 2023. My first goal is 150.

@mjsburcham2001 First and Foremost, Welcome to the group! It's small but mighty and we are glad to have you here. It looks like you have been doing Fantastic in your journey. I hope you will share some of your most helpful tips, tricks and tools. Post anytime and as often as you like.
Because of Type 2 diabetes I am watching both my calories and my carbs. I try to stay below 75 carbs and 1400 calories. I often will use the zig-zag diet which can also be known as calorie cycling where some of my days are a bit higher and some lower than my 1400 but very much pre-planned. I just turned 64, live in northern Michigan USA and I am mom to 4 grown children and grandma to 6.
Now that we are properly introduced, I want to thank you for joining us. Let's do this!1 -
I did some backsliding in May. I started out losing just a bit and getting to the middle of my Ideal Maintenance Range. That was perfect! Then the second half of the month came along, and I ended up with gain of about 1.5 pounds for the month. I'm still in my absolute maintenance range, but I've slipped over the top of my Ideal maintenance range. Oops. It's OK. I'll get back after it. The past week or two was full of travel and celebrations. These things happen.
I'm still in a MUCH better place than one year ago after my Grand Canyon raft trip where I ate and ate and ate and ate and then kept eating after I got back home.

My trend weight will have to catch up. April and May both showed scale gains so I am happy that the June 1st finally showed a (last minute) loss. Now, to keep up the momentum and help it stick!

I have been fighting with my binge disorder which usually happens when my body starts to “burn out” from all the dieting. I guess you can call it dieting fatigue that usually triggers it. I am working on that, and also getting my exercising back on track as it all ties in to the fatigue. It is not unusual for me to go through this. It’s just one of many bumps in the road. I will get over it (hopefully soon) and will find things much more doable again. The last time I touched the 170’s was back in March. I can get back there. I WILL get back there. I just can’t predict the exact date but I am working very VERY hard on it.

It wasn't a good month for me weight-wise. Gained for sure. I'm almost back to where I was at the beginning of the year. Time to crack back down again!

I can no longer use the TrendWeight graphs. I can no longer enter my daily weights on the Fitbit website, and I have no interest in downloading their app. Oh well. There's still Weight Grapher.
I had a relatively successful July. I was slowly trending back down again (finally) but the last week has been a blip back up. Uh oh.
A bit of a wild ride the past 12 months.... I'm still a work in progress, and I'm OK with where I'm at.

I have seriously been fighting night time snack cravings and even overeating “approved snacks”. I am going to work very hard in August to stay on track. I touched the 170’s in March and have to somehow find my way back. It's pretty depressing that I have to lose 9 pounds just to get back to where I was. My mini goal will be to lose 9.1 lbs and I would love to see it off by the end of September. October 1st 2024 – 193.6 (trend 193.80 I have continued to gain weight. I have been bingeing. Summer and early fall also brings about a lot of travel for me as I try to fit in so many medical appts (must travel for everything as I live in a very rural area). That travel means lots of sitting/lack of movement as well as some pretty fascinating restaurants for a country girl like me. All excuses aside, it is a difficult time of year for me. As you can tell by my patterns located in my spoiler, losses usually occur during the Michigan winter months. I look forward to seeing some positive changes soon as travel will die down (especially after Christmas) and I can focus more on myself. My habits at home are usually pretty good.

It's been a GOOD month! I am down 8.3 pounds based on a weighted moving average and 9.2 pounds based on a simple ten-day rolling average. BOOM!
