Hi msunst97, and welcome to the Cyber Cafe. Hope you enjoyed your order. Linda, movie night was fun last night. I'm still tired from staying up all night. We had a mix of sun and clouds today and some rain here in the real world. Temp is about 50 degrees with a chilly wind. Got in a walk this morning, and did some grocery shopping as well. Francois is cooking out on the grill tonight so for me it will be a thick porter house steak with onions and mushrooms, a baked potato, corn on the cob, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some homemade chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and an iced mocha. I'll sit out on the patio and watch Francois cook up his orders. We can also see all the leaves changing.0

@msunat97 there’s always bourbon in the man cave at the cybercafe. I’m more of a Southern Comfort fan, myself, except when it comes to coffee. Coffee with Godiva chocolate liqueur is my favorite, although Kahlua or Frangelico are good in coffee, too. But I was debating between coffee or tea.
Zzyyggy are we still having movie night? With all the appetizers? Francois made French Silk Pie—the one with the chocolate crumb crust and big, beautiful chocolate curls layered on top. I’m sure there are other desserts, as well. I didn’t notice because there’s French Silk Pie.
And coffee. I knew it would be coffee. Iced coffee. Where is Viktor? Oh, he’s here with extra wait staff to carry all sorts of goodies. Best waiter ever.0 -
Hi Linda, yes another movie night with snacks seems in order. We had a cloudy day here in the real world, and it was cold. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the Sunday prime rib dinner with baked potato, salad, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some chocolate chip cookies, and an iced, mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace and enjoy the warm balmy evening out here.0

Zzyyggy, dinner out on the terrace this evening was wonderful. I’m glad we decided to watch the movie out on the patio by the cyberpool. It’s still warm in the evenings at the cybercafe, unlike the real world. It’s downright chilly outside by 6:00 or 7:00 in the evening at home. I think I’ll have another cup of coffee while I finish my pie.
Tomorrow is Monday. Sweetie and I need to go vote. I like voting early. We are voting for 30 different government officials. This is the only state we’ve lived in that votes for all the judges, both state and local. We even vote for the Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor. I researched the candidates and checked out their websites if they have them, but I don’t know who the majority of candidates are.0 -
Hi Linda, I already voted, and the local elections I was a bit overwhelmed. I voted mostly democrat, or progressive except for our governor who is a republican. He's did such a good job leading Vermont through the pandemic, and afterwords that I continually vote for him. Apparently so don't a lot of other Vermonters, he's still in office. We had another perfect fall day. A little on the chilly side, and some of the higher elevations had snow. I got in a walk, and a swim today, and got the rest of my goals done. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a meatball sub with fries, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a giant chocolate chip cookie and an iced mocha. Hey did you know today was national chocolate day? That's why there are little piles of m&ms and hershey chocolate kisses on all the tables. Just keep the kisses coming.0

Hi, Zzyyggy. I didn’t know it was National Chocolate Day! As soon as I finish my meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy, I’ll be ready for chocolate. I think I’ll have M&M’s and kisses with a brownie tuxedo sundae for dessert. After your busy day we can sit in the dining room’s lounge area with our desserts and enjoy the aquarium and all the Halloween decorations.
Hey, Firehouse Subs has a Thanksgiving turkey sub with turkey, stuffing, and gravy. Wow! We had a beautiful day—70 degrees inside and outside. It’s supposed to warm up to 80 degrees by the end of the week. We didn’t vote today, but we will sometime this week. As far as voting for governor, I have no clue who to vote for. The candidate with the best qualifications is not someone I like and I wasn’t thrilled with the job he did as attorney general. He’s going to win. Sweetie says he’s tempted to vote for anyone else as a protest. If enough people do that we would end up in a mess of trouble.

Hi Linda, I see there is still some left over kisses and m&ms. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the fried chicken platter with mashed potatoes, gravy, and peas with a coca cola and dinner rolls. For dessert I'll have some brownies, and an iced mocha with the kisses and m&ms. I'll eat in the dining room tonight and enjoy all the halloween decorations in the aquariums.0

Hi, Zzyyggy. Apparently, Igor found some baskets that were the perfect size and he filled them with Halloween candy. He’s setting them out right now. I saw Twix bars in the mix. I love those. Here, let’s see what else is in this basket. I know the baskets are for everyone to share, but I don’t think Igor will mind if I take one, maybe. I’m glad Viktor brought out a carafe of coffee for me. Mm, what a wonderful dessert: Halloween candy and coffee.
We finally got out to vote today. It was cloudy all day, but it was still pretty with the Fall colors.0 -
Hi Linda, we had an unusually warm fall day. Some hazy sunshine. Temp was 69 degrees, but it was very windy. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a big plate of lasagna with garlic bread, a salad, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have one of those giant chocolate chip cookies, and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight.0

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had a warm, sunny day—10 degrees warmer than your day. Your choice of lasagna sounded good to me. I ordered the same thing. Great dessert, too. I love these giant crunchy chocolate chip cookies. Here’s Viktor with your iced mocha and a carafe of coffee for me. It’s lovely out here on the terrace this evening.
Tomorrow is Halloween. We’ve got all our candy ready for the little ghosts and goblins. I hope everyone has their costumes ready for the Cybercafe’s Halloween Bash.0 -
Hi Linda, Happy Halloween, the cafe is all decorated. Francois is in his pirate costume cooking up some really good pizzas in the outdoor pizza ovens. Viktor is in his dr. Frankenstein's costume, serving up all our favorites, and Igor and Jorge are well in their zombie costumes scarring everyone, and being chief cook and bottle washer, and all around cleaners. We had a gorgeous day here in the real world. Temp was into the 70s with lots of sunshine, and clear blue skies. A chilly wind blowing though. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a pizza with the works, chicken wings, and an ice cold coca cola. For dessert I'll have some of Francois's spooky homemade brownies, and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace and watch Francois cook up the pizzas.0

Zzyyggy, pizza and brownies are perfect for Halloween. You can see the pizza buffet down on the patio by the pool from the terrace. See? What’s in the punch bowl? Viktor keeps calling it Frankenstein punch.
We’re having warm weather this evening and even though it’s a school night I expected more Halloweenies. We’ve seen the parents with their little kids. They were out between 6:30 and 7:00. Nothing but crickets after 7:00. We have a whole bunch of candy to get rid of. It’s around 7:30 so there’s only a half hour left. 😬0 -
Hi Linda, it's been really windy here in the real world, and cloudy. Got in a walk earlier. Temp is 59 degrees now. I'm in for the early bird special of fish n chips. I'll have a coca cola and coleslaw with that. For dessert I'll have some monster chocolate chip cookies, and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight. Igor has started to take down the scary Halloween costumes but leaving up the hay bales, scarecrows, and pumpkins, for Thanksgiving.0

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had another nice day, although it’s been getting cloudy in the afternoons all week. We’ve had less than .10” of rain since Hurricane Helene—five weeks. The forecast says we’ll have rain on November 7th. I hope they’re right.
Viktor and Igor have cut me off. No more M&M’s for me. Apparently, I finished off all the M&M’s at the Halloween party last night. 😳 For dessert this evening I ordered a cheese and fruit plate with my favorite little cheese crackers. I also ordered coffee with cream and sugar.
I’ll miss the Halloween decorations, but I’m glad the spider webs are gone. They really creeped me out. Now that the Zombies have decamped the terrace is an island of calm once more. Zzyyggy, I think you should try to convince Igor that he doesn’t need to have inflatable, bigger than life size Pilgrims on the Cybercafe’s front lawn. A tasteful autumn wreath on the front door and maybe some fairy lights on the porch would be enough.0 -
Hi Linda, no I hadn't thought about those or the life size replica of the Mayflower in the pool. Deffinitely not. No Igor I'm sorry. The pool is only for swimmers. Maybe you should put it in the fish pond. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, and a root beer. For dessert I'll have a chocolate milk shake, and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the deck by the pool after a quick swim. We had a cold, rainy, wet day here in the real world. It was a good day to stay home and read which I did.0

Hi, Zzyyggy. You had a nice quiet rest day. We had another beautiful Fall day. The trees are all starting to turn and the lawns are covered with leaves, except for our neighbor’s lawn. I think they mow or use a blower every day. I ordered a ginger ale and cranberry juice punch. It comes with fruit skewers. I like the skewers with pineapple and cantaloupe cubes best.0

Hi Linda, we had a gorgeous fall day here in the real world. Lots of sunshine, and clear blue skies, but at 41 degrees it was a bit chilly outside. Didn't do much of anything today. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the Sunday roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes, peas, gravy, dinner rolls, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some warm chocolate chip cookies out of the oven, and an iced mocha. I'll eat by the pool again after a quick swim. It's so nice and warm here at the cyber cafe.0

Zzyyggy, I thought it was a bit chilly here with temperatures in the lower to mid 60’s. To me, it’s downright cold at 41 degrees. It’s all a matter of perspective, isn’t it? The roast beef dinner tonight was delicious. I think I’ll go sit by the fire and enjoy my coffee and the warm chocolate chip cookies.0

Hi Linda, we had a chilly fall rainy day today. No sunshine. Got out for a walk in the morning which was a good thing as it rained in the afternoon. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a big plate of macaroni and cheese with garlic bread and butter, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of boston cream pie with an iced mocha. I'll eat it in the dining room by the fire place. I'm still chilled.0

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight in the real world, except mine didn’t have cheese. Somehow it doesn’t taste quite the same without the cheese. 🫤 Fortunately, Francois always adds double cheese for me here at the cybercafe. Boston cream pie for dessert sounds wonderful. I wouldn’t mind sitting by the fire with a carafe of hot coffee with cream and sugar.
I’ve been freezing all day, not because it’s cold outside, but because I’m not feeling well. It’s nothing really, I need a good night’s sleep. That should help and, well, here’s my confession: the Halloween candy is all gone and, boy, that stuff made me sick. I think my limit is two fun size candies for the year. At least I have the cybercafe.
It looks like we’ll finally be getting rain this week. It’s been almost six weeks without rain. They’re concerned about fires with the dry weather, so the rain would be good.0 -

I just tumbled in from the cold. It's nice and warm in here with lots of sunshine. I'm going to sit in the sunroom next to the indoor pool. Please send the pool boy over to take my order. Trying to decide what kind of a drink with an umbrella I'll have. Of course I have to have pizza and a glass of wine later.

Hey, Vicky, welcome to the cybercafe! Viktor makes delightful umbrella drinks. He’s the most amazing waiter/butler/pool boy ever. Maybe he’s been cloned? Of course, his brother, Jorge, looks just like him, although they seldom dress alike.
Perhaps Zzyyggy can convince Francois to make pizzas in the brick oven out on the terrace tonight. In the meantime I’m going to have a small cheese and fruit plate with my favorite little cheese crackers and an iced tea. It’s hot out here on the ocean side terrace and I’m glad my lounge chair has an umbrella. I’ll move to the mountain side terrace under the trees later around dinner time.0 -

Okay, I’m jealous of that you both have cool and windy weather. (Zzyyggy, I know 70 degrees is warm for you, but a 70 degree windy day sounds cool to me right now.) It was 78 degrees and the humidity was over 70% today in the Charlotte area. They’re calling for rain and I’ve got one of my weather migraines. First they say it will rain, then they say it won’t, now it’s going to rain—I wish it would just rain already!
Viktor, I need caffeine, please. Coffee, chocolate, and vanilla buttercream iced brownies will be perfect. Let’s not forget some of those warm chocolate chip cookies Francois is baking. They smell divine. I’m looking forward to spending the evening in the Club Room visiting with friends and maybe even reading my book at some point.

Hi Linda, How do you feel about 65 degrees. That's what we had today, and windy. Got in a swim, and walk this morning, and got the rest of my goals done. For dinner tonight I'm going to have beef stew with lots of dinner rolls, butter and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some devil's food cupcakes with chocolate frosting and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight. Later we'll have a bonfire, and s'mores. Don't worry Linda, we're going to get way colder then you soon. This weather can't keep going.0

IRL, the weather here is great for walking with fleece; went for a 3 mile walk. Lunch was spinach salad with chicken, feta, red pepper etc. Stepping into the Cafe for a mud sludge on the patio.0

Gosh, if I say good evening I sound like Count Dracula. Good evening anyway. Zzyyggy, we have one more warmer day at 79 degrees and then it’ll be mostly in the mid 60’s, which is typical for November. Sometimes I miss the northern weather. I don’t miss shoveling snow or freezing temperatures though.
Vicky, spinach salad with lots of goodies would nice for dinner, although beef stew would be good. I’m hungry so everything—anything would be good. I’m hoping Sweetie will make something, but he’s puttering around the garage. I guess it’s up to me. 🤔 I’m sure Francois won’t mind if I check to see what’s in the refrigerator here at the cybercafe. Maybe there’s some leftover pizza. I could just order dessert. There’s this local restaurant that makes a seven layer chocolate cake that’s delicious. The five of us split a piece once. I’ve always wanted to go there and order a piece of cake and a cup of coffee, but I never have. Their food is far too appealing for that.
