For breakfast morning I think I will take those blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup, cool whip and fresh blueberries on top again. They are soooooo good last time. I also need a nice big mocha with an extra shot of caffeine this morning.

It's so nice sitting here outside. I don't typically get a chance to eat breakfast outside by a pool.

Zzyyggy, I’m starving tonight. I don’t know why. I ordered macaroni and cheese. Viktor will be right out with my order. Oh, I have to go. Be back for dessert.

Hi everyone, I'm starving tonight. Finally went for a walk leaving Ramona by herself for a bit. When I got back she was still sound asleep on my couch. Tomorrow I'm going swimming so I'll be gone longer. Lets see what happens. For dinner tonight I'm going to have a bowl of beef stew with dinner rolls and lots of butter, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and an iced mocha. Angf those pancakes sound delicious I may come in for breakfast tomorrow.

Hi, everyone. Zzyyggy, apple pie sounds wonderful. I ordered some for dessert with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Ramona should be fine by herself. You can always find the cat channel on YouTube and turn it on for her while you’re gone. 📺 🐈‍⬛. 😃

I’ll see you for breakfast in the morning.

Breakfast at the cybercafe! Viktor, I’d like a table out on the patio by the pool, please. Oh, this will be perfect. Ahh, this coffee is wonderful. I can’t decide between the blueberry pancakes or the cranberry orange muffins. What’s in the pastry basket this morning? I think I’ll have a Southwest omelet with a sliced orange on the side. I see some cranberry orange muffins in the basket so I’m all set.

It’s a bit too chilly to sit outside at home this morning. It’s sunny, but 43 degrees feels more like winter to me (aside from the fact that the deck is in the shade in the morning). We’re expecting a sunny and very windy day in the high 60’s. I won’t be out on the deck though. The carpenter bees are back and those girls are BIG. I’ve been begging Sweetie to replace the railing boards with Trex. I don’t think the bees would be able to bore into the composite boards to lay their eggs. I haven’t seen any snakes yet, but the warm weather is coming. The dogwood trees are blooming and the iris are budding. I’m hoping to see more buds on the irises since we trimmed them back in the fall.

Hi Linda, we had snow flurries off and on all day, and lots of clouds all day. I managed to get a walk in canceled my swim. Ramona seemed fine when I got home. Tomorrow I'll be gone a little longer. I have to have some blood drawn for my physical next week, and a tooth pulled. Fortunately both are in the same place. For dinner tonight I'll have the spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of devil's food cake with an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight since we didn't get a whole lot of sunshine today.

Hi Linda, we had lots of sunshine today, after it snowed last night. Didn't get a whole lot done today after getting my tooth pulled, and blood drawn. I think that was enough. For dinner tonight I would love the fried chicken platter with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas and dinner rolls. A coca cola with that please. For dessert I'll have some brownies, and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight, and watch the sunset.

Zzyyggy, I think the brownie is a good choice for dessert because you need some chocolate after the day you’ve had. It doesn’t sound like a fun day. A brownie sounds good to me, too. Brownies, coffee, and sunsets—what a great way to end the day.

For brunch today, I will take scrambled eggs, toast with homemade strawberry jam, lots of bacon, sausage, a blueberry muffin, coffee, and a bowl of fruit covered in cool whip. A nice large coffee to enjoy as well as I sit back and enjoy the warmth of the sun.

This is such a nice place to spend the day. So much warmer then my just above freezing temperatures. I can't wait for the warm days to get here. My tulips are coming up though that I planted last year and I am so happy about that. I wasn't sure they would! I didn't inherit my mom's green thumb. I tend to kill plants. She was so much better at keeping her flower gardens looking good then I have ever been able to.

Viktor, how are you today? I see Angf out by the cyberpool, I’m going to be joining her. Besides, I’m sure Zzyyggy will be by for an afternoon swim. I see that Igor and Jorge have put the pastel umbrellas out on the tables for Spring. It’s so cheerful and Jorge has planted beautiful gardens on the terraces. I’d really like to sit at the table with the pink umbrella because it matches the ribbon on my hat perfectly. Oh, yes, I’ll go ahead and order now. I’d like the antipasto plate with my favorite little cheese crackers and a pitcher of iced tea, please. I was very tempted to order the crab salad on a croissant, perhaps I’ll order that for dinner. I bet key lime pie would be good for Sunset Dessert.

I had beautiful gardens where we used to live. (We moved 18 years ago.) Anyway, I planted tulips and fed the deer and moles and voles and whatever other critters decided to feast upon my beleaguered tulips. I think the squirrel that lived in the hedgerow across the street was the one who delighted in pulling the tulips out of the ground. Then I discovered daffodils. Those poisonous little beauties bloomed every year and were left undisturbed by the critters. 😁

Hi everyone, have had a busy day of doing laundry, and I went out for a walk earlier. The temps are in the mid 40s with lots of sunshine, and clear blue sky. I'm sitting here with the window opened, and the cat looking out watching the birds. Hopefully she won't interfere with the post as she's been known to do lately. For dinner tonight I would love the fried scallops with french fries and tarter sauce, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some chocolate chip cookies, and an iced mocha. I'll you guys by the pool, and go for a swim first since I have done any swimming all week because of the tooth.

Ah, yes, Zzyyggy, cat on the keyboard. Yup, been there. It’s when the cat decides to share your cup of water, tea, or coffee that you realize the cat owns you.

The sunset here at the cybercafe is gorgeous tonight and my key lime pie is delicious. I’m going to try to get to bed earlier tonight, but I think I’ll sit here for a while and read my book.

Hmm, what should I have for breakfast today? Coffee to start while I slip it slowly here in curled up in a cozy chair.

Hi, Angf. I see you’ve found the alcove lounge in the dining room. The chairs and couches are so comfortable. You have the choice of sitting by the fireplace or by the french doors with a view of the orchards and the fields beyond. Plus, those cozy chairs are actually recliners even though they’re not big and ugly.

I’m just passing through on my way out to the terrace. I’ve decided to spend the entire day out there in the gazebo. I am not doing laundry or vacuuming and certainly not going grocery shopping on a Saturday. I’m not hiding or anything like that, it’s very relaxing to spend time at the gazebo. Jorge is managing the kitchen out there today. I saw him stocking Zzyyggy’s ice cream freezer earlier this morning. Jorge makes excellent sandwiches. I’m going to order roast beef on a Portuguese roll with Swiss cheese and all the extras. Of course, Viktor makes all the drinks, so I’m sure he’ll be right there making an iced mocha for me.

Hi everyone, its back to winter here. We got a tun of snow this morning and I decided to stay in and sleep most of the day. I did do my other favorite thing read, but most of the time stayed in bed with the cat curled up at my feet. For dinner tonight I would love the prime rib with baked potatoe, sauteed onions and mushrooms on top, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some brownies, and an iced mocha. Linda may I join you in the gazebo, maybe Angf will join us there it's so nice and bright here.

ZZyyggy, I will take nice and bright. You can keep the snow where you are. Where I live in Nova Scotia we don't have any. I am more then ready for spring.

I came back for supper. After a busy day at home doing 5 loads of laundry (spring cleaning) and cleaning and grocery shopping, I need a good supper. I will take a meat lovers pizza with garlic fingers and Mountain Dew to drink. For dessert I will take the 6 layer chocolate cake with some chocolate ice cream and chocolate milk to wash it all down. This is the only place I can indulge in my chocolate, which should be it's own category of food, as in my personal life back home I am trying to cut back on the sweets.

Zzyyggy, you’re here! I was just wondering if a brownie would be good topped with a Klondike Bar. I think I’ll try a brownie topped with a Heath Bar Klondike Bar. I could add fudge sauce and whipped cream, too. Sweetie wanted a bite of mine, but I think he should get one of his own.

Okay, now I actually want this. Yikes! Not going to the store, not going to the store, NOT GOING TO THE STORE or sending Sweetie to store . . .

    It’s Springtime here.

I was trying to get the sunrise this morning without getting my neighbor’s house, plus my two white irises are just below the edge of the photo. It was a bit darker and the sunlight was more orange, but photos tend to be brighter.

Sweetie is out mowing the lawn. We have grass that’s a foot high out back. We had dinner already. It was early today. I’m ready to sit back and relax at the cybercafe. Should we spend the evening on the terrace? Viktor has my favorite iced tea with mini scoops of lemon sorbet cooling the tea and I ordered a selection of cookies for dessert.

Hi everyone, Linda I'm jealous of you now. We had early spring this morning and winter all day yestarday. Angf I'm with you I am so ready for the warm temps of spring. I want Friday's weather back. Oh well theres always the tropical sun of of the cyber cafe. I'm going to have a big bowl of beef stew with lots of bread and butter and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of devil's food cake with chocolate ice cream and an iced mocha. Linda it's a good thing we don't keep those kinds of treats at home isn't it? Although there are three stores within walking distance that carry them for me, and there is always delivery if I have the funds.

Hi everyone, started out cold, dark and rainy this morning. Had an early doctor's appointment, and then swimming. By the afternoon it was sunny, clear, and 65 degrees, but the wind was still brutal. Spent the afternoon getting my apartment cleaned up before the arrival of a visiting sister tomorrow. We're having a sister breakfast after getting a cat condo, and some cat toys so she'll want to see the cat again. I've just been making it look presentable. For dinner tonight I would love the bucket of kfc orignal fried chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn on the cob with a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight.

Work today was horrid. They updated our system on the weekend. Most people were eventually able to get on. Not me. I was able to use another computer for a few things. But ugh. Hopefully I can get on tomorrow.

I need all the comfort food and all the chocolate.

Zzyyggy, you got your swimming in! Yeah! I wouldn’t mind having a sister breakfast and shopping excursion, except that would be a long trip. Angf, I’m so sorry that you had a horrid day. Update nightmares definitely need chocolate. Zzyyggy makes sure that the cybercafe is always well stocked with medicinal chocolate. Francois has a secret collection of comfort food recipes sure to cure a bad, horrid day. I would order breakfast or macaroni and cheese or biscuits with chicken and gravy or chicken and dumplings (the flat dumplings that look like noodles, not the big lumpy ones).

Oh, and chocolate. There are multiple kitchens at the cybercafe—this place is like Dr. Who’s Tardis. Francois has a kitchen just for chocolate. The gossip is that there’s a chocolatier who makes all of the special chocolates, but no one has ever seen them. I like to start with the simple things though. That’s why Viktor keeps a bucket of M&M’s just for me. The M&M’s are all in individual serving sized packages. You’re welcome to have some M&M’s anytime. The motto here is “if you can dream it, you can eat it,” so I’m wishing you sweet dreams.

Viktor, I’d love a big crunchy M&M’s candy cookie and a coffee, please.

For lunch today I will have spaghetti and meatballs with cheese. Lots of cheese. As well as a couple pieces of garlic bread. I am also have a nice tall glass of Mello Yello. I can't get it where I live (Nova Scotia). There is one fast food restaurant that has a drink machine with multiple choices (not in their drive through or ordering on line) and Mello Yello is one option, but I need to avoid fattening fast food.

Yesterday at work they had done an update to our system on the weekend. No one couldn't connect to our directories. When they fixed mine, I could even get logged back on to my computer. I used another one to get a few things done, but spent most of the day sitting here and cleaning my desk. Today things are going better. There is still a few glitches that need to be cleaned up.

    My desk today:

Hi everyone, Angf can you come clean my desk at home? It's only neat now because I cleaned it off for my vistors today. Everything went good today went swimming, cat toy shopping, and sister breakfast. Then we went to pick up the cat condo which my cat loves. Ramona even came out to meet my sisters. I'm pooped tonight. I would love a bacon cheeseburger with french fries and an old fashion a&w root beer in the mug. Linda, the cyber cafe is so well stocked up with medicinal chocolate, not to mention the chocolate fountain. Ooops forgot dessert. Speaking of chocolate I'll have a brownie with chocolate ice cream drenched in chocolate sauce with an iced mocha. Hows that for a chocolate fix. I'll sit out on the cafe.

Heres Ramona hanging out in her new cat condo. I'm trying to get a picture of her face, but she's camera shy, and I don't always have my kindle on hand.

Zzyyggy, I think the cat condo is perfect Ramona. Looks like you had plenty of sunshine today. We had a beautiful day, although everyone has been suffering from the high pollen count. Thank goodness I’m not having any problems with the pollen right now.

Angf, I like that you can have personal items on your desk—Bible verses and cat plaques and cute little crochet treasures.

I asked Viktor to bring more drinks out to the terrace for us. I was debating whether to order chocolate or something incredibly sweet, but I decided on a cup of chamomile tea and some lemon shortbread.

@Zzyyggy That is only a tiny portion, the computer stand. The rest has client files (Cannot take a picture of that) Your cat tree/condo is so nice! My Wesley would love it! His smaller as I don't have room for a bigger one.

@LindaK125 My Sister-in-Law made the dumpster fire. I found the other one on Temu. The verse is now a picture on my wall and I need to remind myself of that daily.

I think I need to stay here and wish I was in a warmer place in real life! It was so cold this morning, I was regretting packing away my gloves! Tomorrow we are to get up to 5cm (that's about 2 inches) of snow/ice pellet mix. I'm going to have to dig the winter boots I put away back out! I should know better. I live in Nova Scotia.

For a late lunch today, I think I will have a double bacon cheeseburger (no onions please) with seasoned french-fries and Mountain Dew to drink. For dessert I will have a nice big slice of blueberry pie. I will eat it outside in a little shade. I am so pale, I don't want to get a sunburn.

Hi everyone. Both Ramona and I had a down time today. I don't have any energy what so ever. Ramona is still asleep on my bed. For dinner tonight I would love the spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some blueberry cobbler with an iced mocha. It's clouding up out there again. We're suppose to get snow and ice over the night tonight. I'll enjoy the sunshine out on the terrace again, and watch the sunset.

I saw Betty’s (Betty Crocker) email this afternoon and the blueberry slab pie looked so good I figured I order some at the cybercafe. Everyone wants blueberries today. Blueberry crumb pie and coffee for me tonight.

Zzyyggy, I can understand why Ramona’s tired—she had a very exciting day yesterday. I can’t believe you guys are still having snow and ice. Yikes! It’s supposed to be 84-89F degrees (28-30C) for the next four days here.

Hi everyone, actually Linda we just had all rain this morning and thunderstorms. No ice thankfully. I went out for a walk after it rained and picked up some groceries at City Market. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, dinner rolls, and corn, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream and an iced mocha. Linda I hadn't seen the email from Betty yet I had just watched an episode of Charmed where they had a blueberry cobbler and it looked so good. I knew Francois could make it. I'll eat out on the wind free terrace and enjoy the sunshine. We've had lots of wind today as well.
