    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 302 (my 232nd). So grateful to @Quiltingjaine to keeping this going for such a long time – thank you.

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end

    I need to remain consistent - it does work! I aim to lose a pound this round. Good luck for success everyone.

    7/10 142 – good that eating on plan is showing results, but need to stick at it. 10.43 miles walked.

    7/11 143 – 6.3 miles walked.

    7/12 DNW - away for the weekend in Stratford-upon-Avon. 8.93 miles walked.

    7/13 DNW - 10.29 miles walked.

    7/14 141.8 – 4.83 miles walked around the village before we left for home.

    7/15 142.2 – 7.22 miles walked. Meeting DSs & FFs for lunch today; they are all currently doing Slimming World so it will be easy to make sensible choice from menu. Last time we went to this place I had Cajun chicken bowl which was delicious, may choose again.

    7/16 142.6 – 10.02 miles walked. I didn’t have the cajun chicken salad bowl, the weather had dropped 10 degrees C & I wanted something warm– jacket potato with chilli was what I ordered. Disappointed with the number, I’m 3 days into a course of antibiotics for a badly infected insect bite, is that affecting the scales? I don’t know, but I’ll stick with it & trust the process.

    7/18 141.6 – 8.86 miles walked. There's a slim chance to hit my mini goal 🤞.

    7/19 141.6 – 8.86 miles walked (again!) Failed to achieve goal of 141, but nevertheless, a loss of 2.6 pounds from the inflated number at the end of the last round. After I posted yesterday, I remembered that we had a dinner date with BIL & his partner at a local Indian restaurant, it was too late to edit my post. I was pleased that I ate very lightly all day & then chose very sensibly, walked to & from the restaurant and also left half my boiled rice. I came away feeling satisfied, but not stuffed or uncomfortable, an NSV for me. I also feel that helped me to maintain yesterday’s number.

    👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE & I AM WHAT I EAT!!!!! 👍👍.

    Great day yesterday except tweaked my lower back lifting a 35 lb kettle ball with bad form- (wasn’t paying attention / not balanced). Thankfully able to complete all movement yesterday. Hubby got home last night & we’re packing for the beach today (of course after the Wimbledon ladies final) … Leaving tomorrow morning before dawn. Simple / easy recipes w/ fresh healthy, whole foods & electrolytes - everything planned out. This will be a health-fest celebration! (Of course, my land mine is portion control…) But I will wear my  #HSF identity. Staying at a resort with pools, basketball courts, beach volleyball tennis & pickle ball cts… a short hop to the beach - a paradise for Tucker / activity ! Will even rent the beach chairs for R&R & gulf breezes! 🏖️ 🎾🏀⚽️🏐🧘‍♂️🚶‍♀️🏊‍♀️🌊⏱️

    7/17 back home and paying attention to hydration and protein. So much catching up to do. Will ⚖️tomorrow. 🚫TMI the whole trip! Yikes!

    7/18. 1.27 P:E Kinda surprised I haven’t  dropped even an ounce this round… That’s ok - know I’m doing well. My body is stubborn. Family arriving today. Focused on health. 🚶‍♀️🏋️‍♀️ & jumps this morning for wknd. Will get back to routine to experience an amazing R303!! I’ve noticed I do not have a “weight-loss” mindset - but an “eat right & smart” mindset…. finish 💪🏻 this round! R303 will begin journey to remove 3-5lbs for that BHAG! 6-8 wks?! NSV: proper planning for vacay & follow-through was an enjoyable experience! I always struggle with portion control, but was mindful & ate healthy…

    We late last night and no TMIx3 ready to start R303 tomorrow! (134lbs nudging my highest weight in 20 months)!!!!! Certainly nowhere near the results I planned for for this round, but we start fresh tomorrow.

    Slowly inching towards my ultimate goal but have been lax on tracking  food and intensity of my workouts the last few months. Currently up a couple pounds..

    @iLive2Walk bootcamp is one of my harder workouts but it’s set up to be adjusted for any fitness level. We encourage each other to do our best- some days are about going as hard as you can and other days you’re just surviving.
    We usually do stations. Anything from battle ropes and TRX straps to running sprints.
    Today is body combat which is really hard cardio straight for an hour. It’s my favorite and least favorite hour of the week!

    Today is village yard sale day so I will get plenty of steps in! It’s practically a holiday with some roads closed, police directing traffic and lots of people grilling on their front lawns. No other village does it exactly like us- they were setting up port-o-potties and a stage for a band at the village center.

    This evening I have a belly dancing meet up that I am very much looking forward to!

    7/11 - 149.8 unfortunately I gained because I ate fried potato for dinner! I usually don’t because of the sodium 🥹

    7/12 151.2 -I don’t understand I was within my calorie goal and i did have snacks after dinner..

    7/13 150.4 - I had a couple fantastic workouts going to the gym plus had peaches for a snack afterwards!

    7/14 150.4 - No change in the scale TODAY I’m just getting my workout (bike ride) in. Today was the day for hard cleaning of my house…..

    7/15 150 - We are getting floods here in San Antonio, thankfully my house is out of danger! 

    7/16 149.6 - Low sodium and no snacks after dinner!

    7/17 150 - Again with the weight increase 🥺. SODIUM
    7/18 150.6 - So much is going my life right now, unfortunately.

    7/19: 145.3. We ordered in last night from a BBQ restaurant. I tried to eat reasonably well, but ya know. It was still too many calories, and probably sodium and everything else. Not happy about ending the round on a high, but it's deserved. At least I saw some lower numbers throughout this round.

    7/14 231.2 ~ Starting the day off right, at least with a morning check-in. It's going to be a great, productive day!
    7/15 230.6~ late getting in here today. My patio/landscaping is done, so my morning routine is now watering bushes and trees! And today is a workday, so there are more restrictions on time. Surprised, yet not at that number. Not…because it's where I've been hovering forever, and yes, because I got a last-minute request yesterday to join a group of old co-workers for dinner. I did and had a great time. What I didn't immediately remember is that I had hired most of them, and at some point, they all reported to me. Funny. It was a fun get-together. So a couple of drinks and a nice burger…I expected a bump on the scale..but I did hold out most of my calories for dinner. Maybe it's the dreaded delay!
    7/16 232 Ah ha….there it is….yesterday wasn't a great day either. Over in calories and late dinner due to it being a work day. Today is also a work day but hoping I can get dinner on the table earlier….
    7/17 DNW ~ I jumped up, put on clothing, started laundry, and didn't feel like disrobing again. I suspect a bit down, I'll face the scale tomorrow. Have a doctor's appointment for my sister this afternoon, so I'm off schedule. I'm hoping to not schedule anything for a couple of weeks as they said it takes two weeks to get back the genetic results. That will give me time to put my schedule back together again….Although, I did just plan a lot entertaining stuff for next week (two back yard BBQ's, a baseball game and a pizza outing…. oops!

    @SModa61 Thanks for the buffet tip. One plate is exactly what I did. Just tablespoons of a few things I wanted most. I did hit the ice cream though (complete with toppings) but their bowls are pretty small and I avoided all the pies and cakes!

    7/10  133.0  I actually had a small serving of angel hair and fresh sourdough bread. I expected the uptick to be worse. 

    7/11  134.0 Late salty supper? Or continued reaction to carby dinner the night before? I’ll ride the wave 🏄‍♀️ 🌊 I did something to my knee just walking in the house yesterday. I plan to go to water fitness but I’m not sure about some of the exercises. 

    7/12  133.5 (corrected my dates) Yesterday was a good day. My knee feels better but not perfect. Will take it easy but I think I need to make a couple of loaves of bread for friends.

    7/13  132.0  I didn’t make bread yesterday. Met DD and DGGS for lunch and DSIL joined us briefly after his eye appointment. 

    7/14  132.0  Terrible night, couldn’t get to sleep. T-bone and asparagus for OMAD today. Need to mix up a couple of protein shakes to have on hand, if needed. Edit: Finally TMI after 3 days

    07/18-190.6 ✅ (Trend Weight: 191.1) Not too shabby after the late lunch yesterday at the all-you-can-eat buffet Golden Corral. My quantity/serving sizes were good. My choices were not so good. I don’t eat salad so everything else on the buffet pretty much doesn’t fit my plan so I enjoyed but watched how much went on the plate. Superman was meh…okay. I’m a HUGE fan so I was a little disappointed. The chosen actors were spot on – great! The story line left much to be desired IMHO. And just not enough history/lead when introducing new generations to the Superhero. I think my 3 DGS’s were a little lost but all enjoyed the constant action of the film. Not enough Clark Kent IMHO. Anyway, I’m going to get a copy of the 1978 Superman with Christopher Reeve as it was the best and began my own love and understanding of Superman! Looks like a movie night in the near future for DGS’ and myself!

    💥💥💥 07/19-187.8 ✅ (Trend Weight: 190.7) A big whoosh for me and I am magically touching that 7 on the 187 that I always long for, although it’s right at the tip of it. I know the overnight whoosh was losing a load of water, not necessarily fat. I was forced to take a water pill after the superman trip. So much sitting caused the swelling in legs and abdomen to be so bad I could barely bend my ankles to walk. But I could have ended in the 190’s like the last few water pill weights so somewhere along the way I have lost some actual weight and I’m glad to finally see it. I am supposed to take pill every day but I only take it about 3 times per month as it disables you making you stay home and near the bathroom. My lifestyle can be too busy for all that. I know, I know I should be following Dr’s orders, but I still have a bit of life left in me to live so that’s what I choose. Down 2.6 lbs and able to feel the bottom of my rib cage again. I’m always shocked at how far down they go on the torso! And my feet are not oozing out of my sandals like biscuit dough trying to get out of a broken biscuit can popped too early. Pure relief! See you next round.

    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    Just Give Me 10 days 302

    I am brand new to MFP, just joined on 7/10. I am 57 and just trying to get back into shape. I hope it's okay that I join in.

    7/10 190.0
    7/10 signed up for My Fitness Pal Thursday evening.

    7/11 ---- 189.4
    7/11 went pretty well. Hit my protein target and stayed in my calorie limit. Food isn't so much the issue for me. It's the sedentary life that has me stuck. You can't out exercise a bad diet, but you can out exercise a sedentary lifestyle. That being said, I did not exercise today.

    7/12 --- 188.8
    7/12 Food was on point. I did a short workout. enjoying the newbie loss rate while I have it.

    7/13 ---- 188.2
    7/13 - Food was fine. Exceeded protein goal and stayed in my calories. The discovery of clear protein has been a game changer. It was tough to find a non-dairy one, but worth it. Weather was terrible and I had to drive in it. More storms and that had me in so much head pain at my craniotomy site. Seeing my neuro-oncologist next week, so that is on the list of things to address.

    7/14 ----187.5
    7/14 - Ate Sooooo much watermelon (over a kilo!!) but ended up not eating much else during the day because of headaches. Still hit my protein goal, couldn't sleep becasue I was hungry and made a sandwich so ended up 200 cals over but had under eaten the other days so my calorie average is still okay, just ended up eating later than usual. I try to stop completely at 8pm. No exercise.

    7/15 --- 187.87/15 - not suprised by the bump due to the amount of watermelon I ate. Could have been worse. Headaches terrible again. Food was good. I hit my protien goal and kept to my calories.

    7/16 ----187.5 Worked out this morning first thing. Had a preliminary meeting with a potenital health coach. Seems promising. Protien met, calories good.

    7/17 --187.2 hit my potein, stayed in my calories, really stressed out about stuff

    7/18 - 187.3 - whatever. I'm just going to keep on keeping on and try not to worry about it. I don't understand the android app now. It keeps changing my numbers on me. Did a walk. Protein and calories were good.

    7/19 -- 186.7 - Did a virtual kickboxing class this morning. It was a challenge but I kept moving the entire class. Still trying to figure out what I am capable of after being on activity restriction for so long.

    Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 302
    July 10 - 19, 2025

    63 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida). 
    SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
    SW MFP Sept 14, 2020  – 153 (lost 40, then stress loss if2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress gain)
    SW MFP Jan 1, 2023  – 146.6

    GW Maintaining between 124 – 126 SW: 127.6 Since my weight is slowing coming back down, I’ve added back in history details INCLUDING my maintenance numbers. In January, it seemed silly including my goal was to maintain 124 – 126 when I was weighing 138. Those maintenance numbers are in sight now. Just need to get there. 

    SW: 128.0

    7/10 – 129.0 The ice cream I bought for my sister (arriving tonight) is now gone. I guess I pre-gamed my stress eating that typically happens when she is here. She’ll be staying with us until mid-day Monday. All around, I am going to try and handle things better. Oh, I did the math. I was about 1500 calories over by the time I got done. :’(

    7/11 – 128.4 Made it through yesterday fine. Planned ahead and tracked completely. I did go over my target by 100, but thoughtfully decided to. Not an uncontrolled binge. My big success was that I weighed out a portion of ice cream (gram setting on scale) and tracked it, instead to treating the whole container as a single portion, which is not uncommon for me.

    7/12 – 127.6 Good to see these numbers again. I think is was round 299 that I saw them for a couple days. I handled yesterday well again. No binge eating. Again, weighed ice cream. Sister asked me what I was doing, by weighing the ice cream. I told her that I have no “stop” button, and she laughed (not a mean one). Sis and I are very different. She was voted best body AND most likely to succeed for her graduating class. I always joked that that getting both was not fair. Sis has NEVER had eating problems. Anyhow, today, I’ve got some projects and at the end of the day I am babysitting both grandkids ALONE for the first time ever. I am bringing my electric ice cream maker that has not been used in at least 10 years. Curious what a 5 and 2 year old will think of that. Last night, DD fell on a step and was at urgent care. Claim is bad sprained ankle of her right (driving) foot. Hopefully tonight is on for her and my babysitting.

    7/13 – 127.2 Had a good day. Closing back in on the 127.0 that I saw a couple rounds ago. Yesterday went well, though according to my tracking I did go over, but everything was accounted for. Babysitting the boys went well and gives me confidence enough to say I can do it again. :) Yay! Today is fairly busy with mom visits and working on the stuff in her apartment. I am trying to continually keep ahead of “stuff” collecting there. We are ordering pizza to be delivered to the assisted living for dinner. Two slices and that is it.

    7/14 – 127.4 Did well (enough) yesterday. Happy with the X.4 as it is the same general number as the X.2 from yesterday. Did have two slices of a deluxe topped pizza and measured ice cream at dinner time. Was spot on. Then I saw some pretzels leftover from hubby’s Saturday fishing trip. I got into them, but stopped at about two servings, putting me over by about 250 cal for the day. I am ok with this. Sis leaves today, so I think I have handled her visit well from the point of view of not binging. NOW, I need to make sure I don’t do a POST visit binge. Yes, I have done that a number of times. Dinner tonight is at MIL’s, she is serving tripe to those that eat it. Not me. I should be ok not overeating this evening. :P

    7/15 – 128.0 so yes, sis leaving did let me let loose a bit. I had eaten enough calories for the day before noon. Afternoon went well. MIL’s went well. I hardly ate from the non-tripe food, which was fine as (No surprise) I was not hungry due to my actions earlier in the day. This worked out well as I fed and played with 2 yr old DGS#2 while mom got to enjoy a meal. Came home, and was still not hungry but proceeded to get into some ice cream and most of a box of black liquorice crows. Today will be good. Busy, and hubby is eating out. I’ll sort myself. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

    7/16 – 127.6 can’t think of much interesting to say. Yesterday was fine. Could have been a little better, but reasonable.

    7/17 – 127.6 Slight overeating these past several days, plus my 7/14 binge. Except for the binge day, I am ok with my target ending up at 1700-1800 cal. It clearly could be a non-exercise maintenance calorie target. It could be useful to possibly know this number for when I get back to 125.

    7/18 – 127.6 Total gift. Had a perfect calorie day, but after taking disabled mom to cardiologist, getting home, cleaning, packing, loading car and cats, driving to Maine in rush hour with one eye open, to then learn sister’s needed a family meeting, I grabbed the remaining two chocolate truffles in the box (ok, not bad). The sugar triggered salt cravings, and I found a package of mini salami bites. Ate the whole thing expect for the few DH managed to obtain. Then I needed sugar, went for the rest of the prunes in the box. Then stopped. Felt gross. Almost did not step on the scale this morning, but decided that I had to push through. Occasionally, one skipped scale day turns into a snow ball, and I could see this being a moment. Maybe the scale sensed that and decided to be kind. (like it could actually do that /s ). Anyhow, surprise, I am not hungry this morning. Going to be cautious today as DH is taking me out tonight to a new restaurant we have never tried, up in South Portland, Maine.

    Oh, and I made an appointment for MOG dress alterations. They booked me for next Thursday. A little earlier than I planned, but really, how much different would I be at the two weeks later that I was targeting.

    7/19 – 129.6 Not good.

    7/15- 125.9 I was expecting this. Went to see Shania Twain on Sunday for a girls night :) indulged a little, no regrets! Couple days and I’ll be back on track
