  • Hey Beth, I haven't ever been a runner, but I'm going to try. I like your saying Stress Running. Much better than the alternative. :-) I've been out twice and doing some hills. My backside is pretty sore, but the good kind. I think I'll do more stretching to try to keep the soreness down. Thanks for the advice. Good luck this week.

  • I just try to eat as healthy and "clean" as possible lots of fruit, veggies, whole grains, some lean meats, some dairy and I supplement with protein shakes. I don't follow a diet, I limit processed foods and such and only eat lots of carbs if I know I need them for my workouts :)
  • I just started so I am going to have to wait until next week to see my progress, but my starting numbers are below. Please add me. I am looking for as much motivation as possible. I want to stick to it this time!

    Completely forgot to weigh myself on Saturday so weighed myself Sunday instead.

    SW - 145.5 lbs (Saturday Oct 1)

    Lost so far in October 1.25 lbs

    I am so please with this as I am still struggling with cravings and not really doing enough exercise. Hoping for same again or better next week!

    I obviously was so overwhelmed by the loss that my ability to subtract failed me as I had actually lost 2.25lbs by Sunday. Only just realised as today I am down to 142.5lbs so thats 3 lbs in total so far in October! Coming off the meds is obviously helping.

    Weigh in jitters for tomorrow morning... after a great week last week I really want to continue the loss. Had a couple of not so good days at the beginning of the week so that could have caused a gain, so I haven't weighed myself since Monday!

    I dont know what to do. I am under a lot of pressure and stress and all the week I ate comfort food... I hate the scale... I guess I'll be quitting cause this makes me more depressed. I need a psychologist but I cant tell my family so
    I have to handle it myself...I hope i'll survive this one... bye everyone.

    Morning everyone! Well I did a bad thing really this week by weighing myself every morning! mid week I went down to 112.6! but now im weighing in at

    113.4

    thats not bad that Ive shifted all that weight i had put on, however it means ive only lost 0.2lbs this month!
    I really need to exercise but I feel like i have no time! if im not at uni im at home studying!!!???!!!

    Lost so far in October 3.5 lbs - I am so chuffed with that, I would like to give thanks to the 30 Day Shred and finally being off the meds so no more uncontrollable cravings. Probably not 10 lbs in the month but on my way to a good number.

  • Well, I had a busy week! My son and his family came from out of town for a surprise visit on Wednesday, and stayed till Thursday. I was so excited to see my little granddaughter, she is 6 months old today. Anyhow, I had a great visit and did horrible on my diet and gained 1lb. I must get back to the drawing board this week, usually I write daily in a journal but got off track due to staying up late to visit with them and getting sidetracked often with my sweet little granddaughter. lol

  • The training for the 5k is paying off.. Whoo Hoo. I not only lost the pound I gained last week, but an additional 3 pounds. I hope everyone else had a good week.

    I've stepped on the scales about 5 times now and this is what it is telling me! Maybe the visit from Aunt Flo last week upped my water weight maybe, or maybe Jillian and her shred are working wonders, I know I'm not expecting this result every week!

    I know that if I worked out more the weight would drop much faster. Lately my focus has been to just stay under calories. I find it difficult though being in college and working 2 jobs... when I'm home I have to choose between homework - exercise - or sleeping, and sleeping almost always wins. Midterms are this week coming, and then I'm in the US with my boyfriend for a week... so hopefully I can get some sort of exercise in!
