I feel like this might be cheating, but I'm not weighing in this week. I was on vacation last week and just got back last night. I can tell I'm retaining a lot of water (my fingers feel swollen) and I'm afraid any number I see on the scale today would just depress and discourage me. So, I'm going to get back on track this week and log my weight next Saturday.

Congrats to everyone who logged a loss this week - way to go!

195.8 this week. No loss. I just started running two miles and I thought for sure the extra cardio would help. I'm hoping to stay motivated despite no loss this week. Oh well, no choice but to keep trucking!

    Hi everyone!

Half way through the week - so how is it all going?

I am up to Level 1 Day 7 of 30 Day Shred and tomorrow will do my second run of week 1 of the C25K program. All this extra exercise has two benefits for me. Firstly, I have extra calories I can eat so its easier to plan meals. Secondly, as I exercise early in the morning I feel virtuous all day and this helps to prevent me from eating extra or junk calories.

I must admit I am loving October because for the first time in months the weight is coming off. I have stuck with this through June, July, August and September and in those months I gained a total of 10lbs (the irony of it...)

For those of you losing - stay strong, you can do it, and in truth is not about 10lbs, its about losing what you can lose and feeling the benefits of your achievements.

For those who are struggling (like I did for the last four months) - stay strong, you can do it, its not about how often you fall, but how often you get up, brush yourself off and try again.

Congrats of the loss so far! I am beginning to realise the big difference a couple of inches in height makes, I'm 5'1 and at 144 I didn't look half as good as you do

After weighing myself almost daily last week - due to being constantly surprised that I was actually losing weight for the first time in months, I have just realised I haven't weighed in for days, so I am really looking forward to tomorrow morning!

Off for my run now, just to make sure!!

I'm up by just a bit. Not enough exercise this week. I have plans to walk and exercise during lunch as my evenings are busy with school and weekend with volunteering. Balance is not easy to come by.. Suppose one step at a time. Best wishes to all of you to have a great final week!
