I am in! I love Zumba!!! I currently do 1 hr of Zubma 3 days a week. I just joined MFP today...so this will be a great way to start. Here are my number:

I'm SOOOO in! I love Zumba and I love challenges. I'll be here for you for the whole month, scout's honor! I have done all of the old Zumba DVDs and most of the new ones but it'll be fun to rotate through them. I think I'll make a schedule with the DVDs because I'm OCD like that and post it here! I'm working on those last stubborn 9 pounds and hopefully Zumba will be the key!

Ok, so I have to pack in my bigger workouts Friday - Monday because of work and my Monday workout needs to be short (I'm a nanny and have silly hours) so here's the schedule I came up with. It's not so much about increasing length of workout over the month but keeping myself engaged by allowing variation and then ultimately adding my ankle weights to boost my burn. And the colors are there because I like them :-)

i went ahead and started today!! 20 min Zumba!! Had fun!! I dont have a 30 min exercise so it is kind of hard to break into 30 min days. I only have 20, 40, 45, 50 and 55 min dvds. Oh, well!
Still cant find my tape measure. I did weigh, 272.8. Will post measurements if I cant ever find my tape measure! Lol!0 -
Question: What's the most accurate way to measure Zumba burn? I've been using a website with a calculator, but I'm wondering if MFP has a more accurate was to measure.0

I use my heart rate monitor. I'm 5'2 and 134 lbs at the moment so if you are similar in stature to me and want an estimate of the burn, feel free to friend me. I'll post my first one up here for everyone if people think it will be helpful as a reference point. Even if you are bigger than me you know you've burned AT LEAST as many cals as me. Might be a good place to start :-)0 -
