    Great challege set for tomorrow! How many of you plan on doing a low carb day? I am going to do two this week...better start planning now I guess :smile:

    I'm gonna try hard for low carb today and carb free on Thursday.. I want to lose 1lb this week.. I'm not sure I will though after a big lose last week so if I don't gain I'll be happy also... This week will be hard with all the treats but I'll have to dig deep for will power...Have a great Halloween xxx

    I am going to enjoy my pasta tonight :happy: and do no carb Wednesday & Thursday...it is going to be interesting to do 2 day's rather then the one that I normally do.

    Hi everyone. I'll admit - I haven't been keeping up with the mini challenges but I have been asked to set Tuesday's challenge. So here goes:

    Bicep Curls with weights - x50
    Supermans - x50
    Lunges - x50 (25 each leg)

    AND a 20 minute brisk walk.

    I am going to add a request: please post on this thread when your challenge is complete. I will too. :bigsmile:

    100 step ups
    30 minute walk
    80 bicep curls (40 each arm and try to use at least 10 lbs if possible and do them in sets of 10)
    100 jump n jacks

    Come on Rudolph we can do this!!!

    Oh yeah, Drink all the water you can possibly drink and smile. ;-)

    Great challenge today :D im doing my run tonight then going to dance or do my dvd. will do the jumping jacks and squats in work then its just step ups and bicep curls :D

    I've been asked to set the challenge for Wednesday. I'm setting it now because of the various time zones and might not get on again later.

    1. Jog on the spot for 3 minutes to warm you up
    2. 25 jumping jacks
    3. 25 crunches
    4. 15 hip bridges (holding in place for 10 seconds each time)
    5. 25 reverse crunches
    6. 15 push ups
    7. 2 minutes step ups (using the bottom step of your stairs)
    8. 2 minutes of squat thrust

    Make sure you drink plenty of water - that's usually my downfall.

    Good luck everybody. Come on we can do it.

    Please also remember to try and eat at least 2 fruits/ veggies with each meal and watch them carbs!

    Great Challenge! I am going to be honest...I used my 8lb weights for the bicep curls :laugh: OUCH!!!

    Thanks for the Wednesday challenge... I've been without power since Saturday because of the snowstorm, and I haven't been able to log my exercises or see the mini challenges but hopefully I'll be back on track now. At least I got some cardio done while shoveling a foot of snow around :o)

    50 squats - done 40 with weights (4 kgs)
    100 step ups - did 10 mins
    30 minute walk - :( (did Zumba instead, does that count)
    80 bicep curls (40 each arm and try to use at least 10 lbs if possible and do them in sets of 10) - done
    100 jump n jacks - 150 done

    Did not manage to drink enough water :(

    Wednesday challenge:

    Let's combine some exercise with clearing the clutter!

    Start at the ceiling and work your way down to the floor - entry way or any room you pick (taken from the flylady.net)
    1.Clean cobwebs
    2.Dust window sills and front door
    3.Clean switch plate of hand prints and walls if needed
    4.Put plants in to the shower and give them a good rinse. Let them set there until you are finished.
    5.Dust furniture
    6.Dust baseboards
    7.Straighten the coat closest
    8.Sweep vacuum or mop the floor
    9.Put back the plants.
    10.Add your own personal touches to make it more welcoming

    End your cleaning session with 3 sets each of lateral raises (12 reps), bicep curls (12 reps), situps (20 reps) and squats (12 reps)
