While I didn't do the actual W4D2 program, yesterday I ran for 10 minutes solid at a 5.0 pace, which is faster and longer than I've ran before! I was so excited! Off today to get some actual running shoes, since I've been running in walking shoes.

Week 4, Day 2 done! Anyone else get a feeling "Why in the world am I doing this to myself?" during that first minute of running? So glad I do it, though. I can't believe I can run for 16 out of 30 minutes! :)

Finished W4D2 today and I'm actually looking forward to having longer runs! I forget who said it but I think it does get much easier once those first 3minutes are over. :)

Oh, and forgot to say that I was running on a half mile track while I'm at home for Thanksgiving. I had been logging that I was running a 12 minute mile, but I ran all the way around the track today in 5 minutes. So now I can say I run a 10 minute mile! Better calorie burn too!

What a busy month, this is insane - everything I've been eating is frozen, never mind getting workouts in! Only made it twice this week, will try my very best to go 4 times next week!

Week 4 day 3 was very hard for me today. Not sure if it's because of the humidity or just being tired from the traveling and holiday. But it is done and I'm ready to move on to week 5. I'm scared of week 6! Anyone bought any real running shoes? That's next on my list!

I completed W4D3 on Saturday. My left hip has been bothering me, so I guess that slowed me down a bit. My stats are below.
    W4D3
    Distance: 2.61
    Walk Pace: 14:49/mi
    Run Pace: 10:15/mi
    Calories: 266

W5D1 was today. I had to run on the treadmill tonight b/c it has been raining since 8a this morning. I really dislike running on the treadmill. I have no idea how fast I ran, but the distance was shorter than when I track it on the gps outside. I ran the full 15 min. though. I guess that's all that matters.

    W5D1
    Distance: 2.3 mi
    Cal: 235

Is anyone else a bit nervous about W5D3? I know I am.

Yes, I peaked at that yesterday to see what the week was going to be like. Yikes! At least the first two days will be easy.

Oh, Sonyachan I went to a running store over the weekend and bought some new running shoes (and non-cotton socks). The guy there was really helpful had me run so he could see my pronation and told me all kinds of helpful info.

Was a little imtimidated by W5D3 so I just skipped day 2 and went straight for D3 and guess what I did it. 20min non stop. I am so proud of myself. I did it. Will to W5D3 again just to keep on my schedule.

So, I was weighing myself on my Wii Fit balance board and I realized it takes off 2 pounds for light clothing. So, I am switching to the scale in our OB/GYN office. According to it, I am now down to where the Wii fit said I was. So I have lost 2 pounds since my last weigh in. Who knows how with all the Thanksgiving celebrating!

Well, W5D2 down. The big 20 min run still ahead. I'm still nervous. Today's stats:

    Walk Pace: 14:38/mi
    Cal Burned: 244

Bobbi29 - I'm so excited to hear that someone has completed D3 this week and lived to tell about it!

After 3 hours of sleep last night cuz I was delivering babies, and then working today, I am not doing my run today. I hate that, but I can barely stay upright as it is! Another busy day tomorrow, so I guess I'll run Friday and be even further behind, as it will be day 1 of week 5. :( But, no matter. I will keep on keeping on. You guys motivate me!

Hey everyone, sorry I have been MIA, I have managed to hurt my knee and so have been taking things a little easy!! I did run on the treadmill at the gym yesterday for about 10 mins before my PT but today when I walked to pick up my little guy from School it was pretty sore  So annoying!!! Worse thing is it seems to have snapped something in my brain and I have been eating everything and anything going for the past week, ahh I am such an emotional eater, my sons Birthday yesterday did not help matters.

So I am hoping that by the weekend I can get back on track and start week 5, better late than never

Amandac72, hope you're feeling better soon, and that's very true - better late than never, and you wouldn't want to hurt yourself by pushing yourself too hard! Take it easy for now and keep on going when you're ready! :)

I just finished W5 D2... still trying to catch up from my little fallback last week!! Now I just need to get D3 done sometime this weekend and I'll be all caught up.
