Hey there--I was told the same thing when diagnosed with PCOS so current bf and I when we first started seeing each other didnt use bc (i cant use hbc because of history of strokes) since we were monogamous anways long story short after 6 mos or so of no bc--I got pregnant (couldn't go through with pregnancey for difficult reasons) and I had the same problems with irregular cycles as well--keep trying it will happen! I had a friend who was told the same thing--she nevered used bc and after losing about 50lbs or so she ended up getting pregnant as well. It will happen have faith!

I hope it is ok to join. My husband & I have a blended family. I have 1 biological child from a previous marriage, and would like one with my husband. We have had 2 miscarriages, and both were lost in the 1st trimester (around 7 weeks for both). Upon further testing, we discovered I have MTHFR and am a carrier for RA. With blood thinners and perscription Folic Acid, I can carrying to term a healthy baby. We stopped trying for a year, and about 87 days ago began MFP. My goal was to lose 20 lbs before trying to get pregnant again. I am down 19.6 lbs, and will begin trying this month. I am definitely nervous.

Hi everyone- I'm Carrie- my DH and I have had a very frustrating year TTC- 6 months of IUI with 2 chemical pregnancies, and 5 months of trying on our own with 4 chemical pregnancies- we went from "unexplained infertility" to "unexplained reoccurrent miscarriage"... Weight didn't appear to be a factor, I was overweight when I started, and am half way to my goal, but was never considered obese- but my exercising and healthy diet can't hurt, right? Well, maybe the exercise can- since my Dr can't explain the miscarriages, I am on a weird regimine of no heavy lifting/no strenuous exercise from the day I ovulate until a negative PG test on day 28... very hard to maintain a loss, but I'm managing! :)

I look forward to having friends who understand what this is like!

How do we actaully join the forum?

I think we should start a separate thread for those of us ont eh progestrone supositories- I hate that more than anything- I get all the PG symptoms from the progesterone, so it really messes with my mind! But this month the breast tenderness started the day BEFORE the progesterone, so I am a little more hopeful- but not too much- 5 chemical miscarriages in 10 months....

Hi, can I join this group please? I have been ttc for 6 months now. While I know it isn't that long I am finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the disappointment each month.
