No Valentine for me either....recently divorced but I will have my kiddos that day so they will be my valentines....Believe it or not this will not be the worst V day I've ever had lol0

I don't have a Valentine. I haven't had one for years and even the ones when I did have a boyfriend were a huge disappointment (an Easter egg for Valentines???)
The first couple of years I used to buy myself flowers, chocolates and/or cookies. A few years on I'm more cynical and just see it as an easy news/storyline day for TV and a chance for retailers to mark-up chocolates, champagne and flowers. Annoyingly its also impossible to get a table for dinner with friends on Tuesday but at least it'll be quiet Wednesday!0 -
You mean Signle Awareness Day? I haven't had one for a very long time, even when I was with somebody. Last few years it's been just me. I dream of the day when I find the right guy who treats me like I do them on these days!!!!!0

My single girlfriends have a horror movie night on Valentine's day. I'm married, and I really wanna go
I love this! Cracked me up!0 -
I don't have a valentine. I've actually never been with anyone on that day and this makes me very, very sad.0

This guy.
Oh, FFS.
I vote that February 14th be changed to Orgy Day and everyone will be happy. I know you are on board. Who else?0 -
Me either. Happy singles awareness day! LOL0

I'm "Valentine-less" and am already planning a monster workout that night at the gym, as hopefully it will be fairly empty LOL. When I was younger my single friends and I would take each other out for dinner just to celebrate our friendship, but currently most of my local friends are in relationships, so I'm on my own this year.
I haven't had a Valentine in about 8 years...0 -
Having a girls night that night. Maybe some drag queens, too!
Just broke up with fiancé after 6 years
BUT I AM REFUSING TO BE SAD!
It's okay to let yourself be sad, just don't let it overwhelm you. I'm in the process of a divorce. I asked my husband of 11 years just over a year ago. I jumped quickly into a relationship that most would consider a rebound. At first, I felt liberated, then I felt sad, now I'm feeling amazing and have THE most wonderful boyfriend who manages to call me beautiful every day. (Yes, it's my rebound man and we've been together a year) I couldn't ask for more!
Have a hell of a good time with the drag queens and GNO!!0 -
No Valentine for me either... I did find the cutiest thing that says "My Valentine Runs on Batteries"
I don't even have my kids this year. I'll be at the gym sweatin by butt off then home to the recliner...0 -

i could go for that... :devil:0 -
No man on Valentine's Day for me either.
However, I have two adorable little nieces who will be SPOILED ROTTEN by their Auntie on Valentine's Day so my sis and her hubby can go out. My plans include taking them to Build a Bear, making brownies, having cutesie food for dinner (including heart-shaped jello-jigglers), and probably doing a craft. )0 -
ME!
I've never had one.
I told my friends I was accepting applications.. No one offered. Lol :P
Hey, same here! Not one time. xD
I'm too chicken to jokingly tell people I'm accepting applications...I don't wanna get rejected (even jokingly).0 -
As of right now...no. I don't have a special Valentine.
But I'm certainly willing to entertain offers from anyone interested in being mine for the day.
(If I get too many requests though, I may have to split them all up and assign shifts to my Sweethearts...)
BAHAHAHA !!!

Never have, including this year. I never particularly notice it actually. For me Valentine's day has always just been the reason that the day after Christmas, or at least New Years, stores turn pink with lots of hearts and flowers. My mom always got us little Valentines Day-y treats, and we used to trade cards with the whole class in elementary school, so to me, it's just the day when I get a few Sweet Hearts (one of my favorite and the lowest calorie candies ) and the one day of the year I buy truffles, which then last me a few months as I only eat them infrequently, hehe. Or, I buy them the day after Valentine's day and they're on sale. I don't really care for cut flowers in general.0

I was married for over 20 years and never once received a card or anything on Valentines. It was just another day I suppose..never acknowledged. *shrug*0
-
Yep...same story,different year. :ohwell:
^^ this lol0 -
This is the first Valentine’s Day I will be spending alone in a long time. Although, even when I had a significant other Valentine's Day sucked....... so I’m hoping this one will be better solo! I plan on buying myself something nice .0
-
I have never had one either... Although I was married for 9 years, but I never even got a "Happy Valentine's Day" out of him. I guess that is part of the reason he is an EX.
HA! Much happier now.0 -
My plan is to take a nice long bath with epsom salts and lavender oil...light some candles, then get naked between the sheets and sip a wine spritzer while watching "Die Hard". Can't get much better than that.
Well....Bruce Willis does make for a pretty good V day date.....especially as John Mclain... :laugh:0 -
I've been single on V-day for as long as I can remember!! (we're talking years!!!!)
So I just use it as a day to remind myself how much I LOVE me..and yes, that includes a gift
It's been years for me also, but I don't treat myself to anything special. It's just another day.0 -
I'm sweetie-free, but will be spending Valentine's Day in Connecticut with my two favorite valentines, my daughter and her daughter. And on the very next day, my daughter will be delivering her second daughter. So, I'll get a third valentine.
No complaints here.

I have a SO, but he's stationed in North Carolina and I'm in Nevada. I think I might have a Disaster Movie Marathon and make home made pizza.0
